Don't mind me. I'm just trying this status thing.
Bio
All you need to know about me is this.
I'm 17. Male. Born and raised in a country which you've probably never heard of. I've been RPing since quite a while, and I'm not very proud of that. My first RP experiences were in Chatango, where I fumbled with words like a timid inmate in a prison shower. Looking back at it, my Chatango escapades were pretty cringe worthy, but then again I'll probably feel the same about my RPG escapades when I look back at them 10 years from now, in the comfort of my bayside yacht while Playboy bunnies rub my hairless chest (to be clear, I don't have a medical condition that prevents hair from coming out, but I figure I'll be rich enough to wax them in a weekly basis by then). Hell, ten seconds after I'm done with this, I'll probably regret it. Hard.
Anyway, onto my preferences.
You may find my preferences pretty specific, honestly. It's also the main reason why I have been struggling to get an RP going for several years now. Actually, just one. Just one year. But I digress. I dislike medieval fantasy settings, which, much to my dismay, make 60 percent of this guild. I dislike most fandom-related RPs. Same goes to the multiverse ones. Unless you're going with a really original take on the series, there's a chance that I won't be interested in it. I am not one for Nation RPs, although I can see the appeal. This has less to do with me not liking it, and more with me being inept at managing a country. If, by any chance, you've got a modern conspiracy RP or anything where the government (or a powerful organization of the likes) is wrecking havoc, I'm in. I know what you might be thinking; "This guy's a fucking weirdo". Yeah, well there's a likelihood that you've been in this Guild more than me, so who the fuck are you to judge? I just like modern military RPs. My book shelf is filled with Tom Clancy novels, Robert Ludlum, Mr. Ian Motherfucking Fleming, the man who started it all - I'm addicted to this shit. I don't mind it if there's a slight blend of fantasy/sci-fi in it, if you've got an RP which matches what I just described, feel free to PM me with a link. Mystery also happens to be my cup of tea.
I've also been trying to broaden my horizon recently, so I have no problem with joining RPs which up until yesterday I considered out of my safe zone. I've always been a fan of superhero/superpower RPs, as long as they're gritty and grounded. Slice of life, romance - turns out I actually enjoy that stuff. They allow me to let loose my inner teenager. I'm currently in a zombie RP which hasn't started yet, so while there's no telling how much I'll enjoy it, I can, again, see the appeal. I can adjust myself to playing a plethora of different male characters; psychos, cowards, badasses, et cetera, but I can't play women for some reason. Before someone labels me a sexist, trust me, it's not because of that.
So, this is me. Again, if you have any RP that you think I might like, throw it in. I'll take a look. No promises.

Is this still open to new players? Because I've got a character and an idea on how to introduce him to the world rather organically ._.
Not a GM, but I'm positive it's still open. Throw us a sheet.
A sensible way to solve this is to pretend that the whole argument with Elijah, Roze, Alec and Alto happened before the current events and then going with a timeskip, detailing the trio participating in..whatever's happening. What do you guys think?
Stephanie passed by and along with her a couple of other students who previously occupied the back seats. Ethan loitered around his spot, waiting for the bus to empty before he could get underway. The bus driver, a slightly overweight man, was aware of the boy's penchant to stick around until the coast cleared out, so he didn't bother him probably because he knew he'd leave after a short amount of time either way. Ethan's brief conversation with Stephanie left him wanting more and, in addition to that, also gave him a slightly overwhelming sensation. Confidence wasn't something Ethan exuded but it wasn't lacking either, yet in spite of all that, he still couldn't muster enough courage to at least talk to her again. He sought to understand what was the reason behind that. Maybe it was because she was very secretive. Maybe it was because he had the impression that she only talked to him to avoid coming off as rude. Or perhaps because he wasn't willing to disturb her any further, in fear of having his good intentions mistaken. The boy was clueless.
"Hey! Kid! Out of the bus, now!", a gravelly voice cut into Ethan's introspection, figuratively waking him up. He shifted his sight towards the source from where the voice came from to see Bob, the bus driver, visibly annoyed by the boy lingering around. What characterized Bob was probably his wheezing, most likely due to careless amounts of sugar intake obstructing his air passages. It was then that Ethan finally realized he stuck out for a tad too long, as he hauled himself up and made his way towards the small stairs leading out of the bus. Before taking off, he sarcastically performed a royal bow in front of the driver, then sneered "Yes, your highness!", further pissing him off. Just as he was about to descend down, he heard a soft, soothing voice, most likely Stephanie's, coming from somewhere near the bus. He couldn't help but let a smirk as he figured she actually waited for him, hurrying his pace in the process. What followed after that, however, was a nightmare in the shape of a stream of consecutive questions accompanied by a high-pitched unison shriek. "This is bad", Ethan grumbled inaudibly, already aware of what was happening. In any case, he couldn't help it - he had already revealed himself before Steph's friends, the 'talebearers', who made sure anything that happens in school, ranging from trivial to significant, falls into the ears of every single student and teacher alike. All he could do at that point was watch their reaction.
The first to have her jaw dropped was Paige, the bubbly, outgoing but especially nosy of the group, who was pointing at Ethan while suspiciously looking at Stephanie. When converted to a verbal medium, that spelled out disbelief with maybe a hint of disgust. Paige followed the same reasoning like the majority, so it goes without saying that she wasn't quite fond of the boy, and he was okay with that. Paige's companions swiftly followed after, gasping in horror and letting occasional mocking sounds. Ethan was used to dealing with such reactions, but Steph in the other hand was showing distinct signs of anxiety, which is what drove him to finally clear some things out. He shifted his gaze towards Paige, speaking in a quiet, reassuring manner.
"Oh for God's sake, chill out! She lend me a spare drawing to get me through Art Class.", he presented the Lion drawing to the girls, before veering his sight at an embarrassed Stephanie. "It's okay. You don't have to wait for me. You can go with them if you want."
Yes, his memory is automatically erased when he finishes transplanting. Without wanting to spoil much, his only purpose in life is to survive and the one thing he knows best is combat, so basically he is very similar to an organic machine. He doesn't take sides to fulfill his goal, even if it might benefit him. His target will be Aperture.

What abilities, precisely and in what ways does he counter it? Honestly, I don't really mind because Scarlett was mainly created to further the story and help the heroes, strangely enough. Still, she does offer some more firepower to Aperture's Arsenal! As long as this character isn't just making Scarlett useless, I'll be fine with it!
It doesn't make her entirely useless, no. I am trying to introduce a horror inspired character and his main trait is that he has to give himself an organ transplant every 12 hours as a result of his organs crumbling down. We're not talking only one specific organ here; we're talking a total inner body makeover. His brain, his heart, his lungs - he replaces everything in a period of one hour or so. How he does that, it's explained in the CS. Naturally, after several organ transplants, he lost touch to his humanity and can't be dragged in the dreamstate, nor can he be charmed. I think she can extract information from him, but because his brain isn't his own, he'd extract someone else's information. She can still kick his ass in close combat, I guess, so there's that.
But yeah, I think I should tone down his abilities.
This is a good character, but in a strange twist of fate, I've been thinking of creating a secondary character which could deflect some of Scarlet's abilities way before. I have his CS in a MS Word doc. I was thinking he could make an appearance in the third Arc, or at least until I get rid of Bojangles. I guess I gotta remove some of his abilities then.
