Current Don't mind me. I'm just trying this status thing.

Bio

All you need to know about me is this.

I'm 17. Male. Born and raised in a country which you've probably never heard of. I've been RPing since quite a while, and I'm not very proud of that. My first RP experiences were in Chatango, where I fumbled with words like a timid inmate in a prison shower. Looking back at it, my Chatango escapades were pretty cringe worthy, but then again I'll probably feel the same about my RPG escapades when I look back at them 10 years from now, in the comfort of my bayside yacht while Playboy bunnies rub my hairless chest (to be clear, I don't have a medical condition that prevents hair from coming out, but I figure I'll be rich enough to wax them in a weekly basis by then). Hell, ten seconds after I'm done with this, I'll probably regret it. Hard.

Anyway, onto my preferences.

You may find my preferences pretty specific, honestly. It's also the main reason why I have been struggling to get an RP going for several years now. Actually, just one. Just one year. But I digress. I dislike medieval fantasy settings, which, much to my dismay, make 60 percent of this guild. I dislike most fandom-related RPs. Same goes to the multiverse ones. Unless you're going with a really original take on the series, there's a chance that I won't be interested in it. I am not one for Nation RPs, although I can see the appeal. This has less to do with me not liking it, and more with me being inept at managing a country. If, by any chance, you've got a modern conspiracy RP or anything where the government (or a powerful organization of the likes) is wrecking havoc, I'm in. I know what you might be thinking; "This guy's a fucking weirdo". Yeah, well there's a likelihood that you've been in this Guild more than me, so who the fuck are you to judge? I just like modern military RPs. My book shelf is filled with Tom Clancy novels, Robert Ludlum, Mr. Ian Motherfucking Fleming, the man who started it all - I'm addicted to this shit. I don't mind it if there's a slight blend of fantasy/sci-fi in it, if you've got an RP which matches what I just described, feel free to PM me with a link. Mystery also happens to be my cup of tea.

I've also been trying to broaden my horizon recently, so I have no problem with joining RPs which up until yesterday I considered out of my safe zone. I've always been a fan of superhero/superpower RPs, as long as they're gritty and grounded. Slice of life, romance - turns out I actually enjoy that stuff. They allow me to let loose my inner teenager. I'm currently in a zombie RP which hasn't started yet, so while there's no telling how much I'll enjoy it, I can, again, see the appeal. I can adjust myself to playing a plethora of different male characters; psychos, cowards, badasses, et cetera, but I can't play women for some reason. Before someone labels me a sexist, trust me, it's not because of that.

So, this is me. Again, if you have any RP that you think I might like, throw it in. I'll take a look. No promises.

"You and I need to have a talk later.", Slade harshly declared, straying away from her question. He was well aware that she probably knew where they were going, and even if she didn't, he couldn't care less. At that moment, Slade was the group's compass. If they wanted their breakout to be quick and painless, they'd have to follow him, with the exception of Reverse Flash, whose nearly unmatched speed proved too much for the Mercenary. For a man like Deathstroke, who'd been used to working for other people, the fact that he got to play leader, even if for a limited amount of time, felt somewhat uplifting, in the lack of a better word. He knew that they'd have to discuss leadership once they broke away, and that it would probably be Reverse Flash who'd claim it, taking into account he was the most powerful of the five, and he was perfectly okay with that as long as it didn't cause him any harm. The path towards the hangar was bloody. Everyone was on alert. There were loads of units being deployed, and because the area was too open to take cover, Slade was being overwhelmed. His dual pistols served him good for a while, but even they ran out of bullets. The team's best bet at that moment was Reverse Flash. "Hey, yellow guy!", Slade yelled intensely, his voice coming out as somewhat muffled due to the mask. "We need you to clear the coast for us.", he proceeded, this time his tone less acute. The man could snap necks before one could pull out a gun, even with Waller's collar on his neck. He was Amanda's most precious asset at the moment. Slade, in the meanwhile, turned his head to the team, gesturing them to make a run for the hangar as soon as Zoom made his move.
After making a comment about the harsh weather and sparking a couple of mini conversations with some of the students, Mr. Hansen, the Art teacher, finally started checking to see who'd done the assignment. Usually, Ethan would have an inner freak out, but thanks to Steph, he had his homework, which provided him with a rare sense of relief. In spite of getting mediocre grades, Ethan and Mr. Hansen shared a good student-teacher relationship, probably due to the latter being pretty young - 28 years old - and, to say the least, extremely compassionate. He even told the boy once that he is perfectly aware that his struggle with juggling ridiculous amounts of social tension is what's holding him back from bringing homework in time, but advised him that he should try and deliver before the deadline regardless. There was a lot of wisdom that matched the man's rugged good looks. Steph's remark about how she had a good excuse to skip classes didn't go unheard, but Ethan didn't respond immediately, as Mr. Hansen was just nearing their desk. If he was to hear they're planning to skip classes, bad things would happen. "So, Ethan - did you do your homework today?", the Art teacher questioned. Ethan, without so much as looking up at him, simply handed him his Stephanie's drawing, desperately hoping he wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Mr. Hansen threw a quick glance, let out a titter, then dropped the sheet down on the desk. "That's obviously not yours, but I'll give you a C for actually bringing something this time. If you have any objections, let me know, so I can drop it down to a D.", the man said, brutally and efficiently ruining every possibility for Ethan to make a comeback. The boy miserably nodded his head, let with no choice but to agree. After all, he did it to himself. In the other hand, Stephanie got off pretty quickly. He simply looked at her drawing before shifting his sight at his register, motioning what seemed to be like an A. He also made a comment about the two moons on her drawing, but nothing to hint that he actually was versed on the Elder Scrolls lore. Right after he waltzed past the duo, Ethan decided to respond. "Let's assume I want to skip classes. What kind of excuse do you have for me?". It was at this point that he realized he could almost feel Stephanie's warm breath, but chose not to face her in fear of creating an awkward moment. The fact that she was invading Ethan's personal space meant that she was gradually getting used to him, implying the time to tell her about his gift/curse was nearing. However, he couldn't risk to confess in a public area - he needed to find a secluded place, hence why he accepted her suggestion to move to a quiet area. "So, I have a little announcement to make", Mr. Hansen, now standing before the black board, uttered, provoking everyone in the class to shift their attention at him. "Unfortunately, I have an urgent problem to deal with so I have to go. And, it was a last minute decision, so we couldn't get anyone to replace me. That said, I'm sure you guys are mature enough to get through this by yourselves. ", the man almost finished, packing his stuff as he made one more addition to his announcement. "Oh, and to keep you busy, I have decided to assign you something. It's simple; make a portrait of the person next to you, or simply choose a friend, or whatever. Just keep quiet.", the man said, heading for the door as he did.
Ah...I'll just get a post up later.
Yeah, let's use the Art class setting to familliarize the characters with each other's backstories, but refrain from giving away too much. From what I've collected so far, there's something about Stephanie involving her Dad, I think. Let's tease a bit on that, then we'll move to that quiet place she suggestied.
Why isn't Patriarch posting again? I think if we're going to escape the prison, all five of us are gonna do it. It would be cheap if one just appeared in the escape vehicle out of nowhere, pulling out the cheap 'i have actually been following you all this time' trick.
Yeah, as you said, that place had become too riddled with subplots and many characters. If the GM would have closed accepting, I would have probably stuck around for longer. As for this RP, let's keep the Art Class in more than two posts. I also look forward to Disconnecting, but character development is also important. And the romance part - honestly, I didn't expect this RP to be this serious and I actually expected a male character to take Steph's part, so I haven' t thought about romance. All I can say is that their first kiss shouldn't happen so early in the RP. Oh and by all means, let's keep the romance in check. I can do a little romance, but once I cross the line, I get really cheesy. I'll get a post up once I get access to my PC.
Eh, don't worry. Once the others post, we'll get over the prison breakout pretty quick.
Nice Teal, I'm loving the Hush twist! Was this a completely original spin you took on Batman? I've never seen it like this before, very clever.
YoshiSkittlez
First time I read Batman's story, I immediately though "Hmm, how could I make this more fucked up?", so yeah it's an original spin and one I've been storing in my brain for years. The initial version had a Robin as Bruce's baby brother, but I scraped that off because I found it pretty weird. Then, I went with Hush. I'm glad you liked it.
As they were marching down the hall, Ethan made an abrupt stop, gawking at Stephanie. "Skip classes?", he uttered, obviously taken aback by her sudden decision. If anything, he knew her to be very devoted with the classes she took. The boy stroke his chin, carefully taking into consideration the girl's suggestion. He wasn't even aware that he had invaded her personal space just earlier. "I don't know. The principal's got me in his shit list. I'm gonna need a solid pretext if I want to skip classes today.", he spoke, only then realizing that he probably should have steered away from the 's' word. He scratched his neck, still pondering. He had already made up his mind about whether to answer Stephanie's question with a yes or no; it was a yes, but he still needed an excuse to get a pass from the school's staff. After a couple more minutes characterized by Ethan stroking his hairless chin, he finally said; "Fine. Let's do it.", traces of determination detected in his tone. "I have come up with no solid excuse as of yet, but we'll see how it goes.", and with that said, he marched past Stephanie and into the Art Class. The Art teacher hadn't shown up yet, so that was good. Another absent note and he'd probably get expelled, which was something he tried to avoid, especially now that he'd found a good friend. He casually sat in his seat and then placed his tools down; a pencil, a bunch of A3 sheets and a set of water colors.
Sidekicks are awesome, You can have them and still be grounded, young justice proved that.
The Patriarch
Sure, but they are not suitable for a superhero like Batman. I mean, the guy does his best to hide his identity from others in order to shield them from harm, but has no quarrel with training children and participating in suicide missions with them. Yeah, you could say that my version of Batman revealed his identity to his wifey and that I'm just being a hypocrite, but the point here is that Wayne's marriage was supposed to be the top of the mountain. It's kinda like what would happen if Christopher Nolan's Bruce Wayne listened to Alfred at the beginning of The Dark Knight Rises and simply settled down, but didn't fully give up his alter ego.
