Yeaahhh, that’s about what I expected. Especially since you have gone through so much involving time and trying to change it in your favor.

I don't ask much of time. I respect its beauty. But thinking that it will respect you is a fast-track to death.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

At the moment, no. Though I would like your insight of what you see time as.

Unknowable and cruel. Without direction or thought, but somehow malevolent. The best any of us can do is learn how to walk in the direction we want to go so we can avoid perishing in these sands.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

You finished off even though she was already dead.

Well-deserved. Is there anything still confusing about the way of sands?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Scissorsplat?

The bloody puddle we just finished off.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Yet here you are attempting to do things alone.

I can’t afford to do anything else. Those tadpoles made sure of that.
*Takes a handful of sand and rubs it against one of my guns*
A mistake scissorsplat learned about.

Sounds lonely.

The desert is. But the way of life doesn’t have to be.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

That was a metaphor Time Line, but I appreciate the information.

The metaphors have their uses. This desert is a lonely one—other than my master and former students, I rarely ran into anyone amongst the sands.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I mean it’s no lt uncommon to find an oasis within the harsh desert enviroment.

An oasis means the desert has intersected with the way of water. Be very wary if you see one, because their masters may be nearby.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

So there is never such a point within the framework of time that is a fixed moment or event?

It happens. And happened. But the ways of sand consider islands of stability in this ever-changing desert to be unusual.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Interesting, that makes sense.

*Nods*
In the same way, that’s what the desert is to us. Time is a chaotic, unpredictable force to become lost in. It shifts and turns, and the only constant is its inconsistency. That’s why permanent fixtures, like that trail we saw, mean something is wrong. They indicate that something is violating that nature, becoming fixed.
