Hey! Are you and your friend going to post? I've come back and started up again. :D
[Park Entrance - East] (Alba) (Cecil) (Kyle) (Lino) (Grun)

Grun grumbled to himself as he made his way to the gate. Several miles away his tank had broken down, leaving most of his items stranded with it as he made his way to the park on foot. It had been a long trek for his stubby legs and large clumsy feet. Once he pushed open the gates, all he could think about was how tired he was, and how much of a break he needed after his long walk. Any normal sized person could make it in probably half the time, while a trained sprinter could have been here in less than half an hour.

Turning to his right, he saw a bunch of pamphlets, ready for the taking of any newcomer. He pulled one off the rack, and quickly opened it. He picked out a few words he understood, but most of it was gibberish to him. He closed it and tucked it under his arm, saving it for some time later to attempt and read when he had the time.

He moved away from the gate across the paved road, looking around as he did. He saw flowers on his way, something he never found himself admiring before. Even still they looked bland to himself, but he tried to take them in as something enjoyable. However hard he tried, he couldn't manage to find a way to like them. They were just a bunch of colors, blushed together in some pattern he didn't understand.

Continuing along the path, he saw a young man seemingly also trying to take in the view he was, but not doing as well. Just beyond him, a small group of people gathered and talking. One of them appeared to be older, older than Grun, and just about the age his father would be at around this time. Then two other younger gentlemen, wearing strange clothing... even Grun understood it was strange... but did he? They weren't strange to the people wearing them. Perhaps he just truly hasn't gotten out enough to understand other people.

He thought of changing his direction to walk up to them, to build up the courage to speak to them... but somehow he didn't feel he was ready. Besides, perhaps they are talking about something important? Wouldn't want to interrupt something important you know nothing about, would you? he thought to himself as he stood there plainly. He shook off the original thoughts of talking to them, and continued down the path as he turned his head to face back the way he walked.

He had neared closer to the younger man than he had originally thought, roughly bumping into him and knocking himself down from the unexpected encounter. "Hey hey hey! Watch where you're going! Don't you know it's rude to block a dwarf's path!" he yelled out in anger from the ground he had thrown himself onto. He rolled himself from side to side, until he managed to get a good enough angle to push himself up to a standing position, brushing the dust and dirt off.
Grun
Grun is an ancient dwarf, stolen in his infant years by a human in his younger twenties, searching for fortune and glory. In the land Grun comes from, dwarfs had hidden themselves away deep underground, lost in the ruins of their ancestors. Very few people knew they still lived, and even fewer had the luck of meeting one.
After Grun was stolen from his home, his new 'father' lied to him, saying he was found abandoned, rather than stolen. His father was enthralled by the technologies of the ancient past, and he knew the dwarfs had created some of the best technologies, far more fathomable than anything at the time. He had not been very successful in reengineering the ancient technologies, so his discovery of Grun had given him hope in solving the ancient mysteries.
As fate would have it, Grun disliked the idea of meddling with gears and levers. He didn't know what he liked doing, he just knew he didn't like doing what his father had spent his entire life's work on. His father tried convincing him many times over the years of him growing up, giving him broken 'toys' that had to first be repaired. Grun would simply look at it, think about how it works for awhile, then toss it aside.
After many years of fruitless attempts of unlocking the mysteries of the dwarfs, Grun's father finally had given up. He knew his 'son' would never budge while he was alive... not at least, without a big push to set him in motion. Grun was nearing his older forties, and his father nearing seventy. Grun's father decided upon a plan, to fake his own death to spark Grun to take up his work after him. The day before his faked death, he gave his most prized possession, an ancient dwarvern tank, for Grun to attempt to repair. Of course, Grun wasn't interested.
After Grun's father had 'passed away', he had felt sorry for never having connected with his father, so he took it upon himself to live his wishes by doing as he had always wished. Fixing things. Over the course of several more years, Grun fixed up the tank, along with many other projects laying around the house.
Grun eventually found it hard to sit around the house, so he decided to go on a vacation to the Character Park, several days away with the ride of his mighty tank. How exactly he came to know of this mystical place, with a magical portal leading to it, is not important. All is that he would soon find it, and continue his life in hopefully new light.

Don't worry, nobody will jump at you.

On a side note, my tone seemed a bit aggressive in the OOC OP, might want to fix that later.

On that side note, I can agree. Was almost scared to join... but... meh, I'll give it a go anyway!

P.S people, I do tend to not post very often, so feel free to spam @teknonick in everything mentioning me to get my attention. And yeah, post ooc with that every chance you get to pull me back in, lol. Otherwise, I'll try my best (As usual) to not pull everyone down. Do feel free to also post without me if I don't respond in a couple of days (Or a few hours, if you really want. I won't mind.)

P.P.S I recommend you upload your map to Imgur. It's not working for me, and I trust Imgur to not auto-delete images, and be virus-free (I think it's virus free... been using it for years, and nothing has showed up.)
@RawrgnatheBloodfridge
Oh gawd, I didn't? Oops, sorry about that. Plus I thought we were waiting on Unraveller.
Hey, peeps! Start posting, :P. I hate to happen to have this RP open in my TABs and have it just die for seemingly no reason! D:
Long work shift. (Bad joke)
Alrighty then, sounds like a plan. I still think a rift should open up and pull him away... whether anyone sees it or not, he should disappear, but I'd rather our characters not forget him, so I can use him for later.

With college starting for me, along with the declining interest in it, I'm going to have to drop it for now, my condolences. Maybe next time?

Since my character revolved around his so much... I was thinking on using him later on in the RP. For now, I'd like if he could just... vanish into thin air, maybe he fell through a crack in the dimensions again... ugh, HATE it when that happens! or something.

ahh, okay then. Well, um... shoot. Now I'm not sure what to do since my character was built interacting around yours. :S. Thanks for letting me know though, GL with your college stuff.
