Is there a chance I can still get in this? I have a Old Clan Tzimisce concept I have been rattling around with.
Voivode
Of course, I haven't put up the OOC yet, so we're still in. FYI though, don't expect many Sabbat friends in London, if your Tzimisce is leaning that way. I suggested the Camarilla and Anarch Clans simply because they are the most likely to fit in with the modern European setting in terms of Kindred sect varieties.
At the same time, the Masquerade does not say that Kindred cannot interact with Kine in other association relationships beyond simply thraldom or as enemies. It may be complicated, but think of it in interactions like how in Bloodlines your character can get into business relationships with Fat Larry or a bunch of other characters who have no idea that you're a vampire. Or even how (in rare circumstances) some Vampires have worked with the odd Hunter who has different views on various monsters, though then they also probably don't fully understand what Kindred are, either. BTW for future reference, don't worry about much or how little knowledge you guys have on the series or universe. My own knowledge is limited mostly to Bloodlines and the stuff I read off the Wikis. So don't worry about your level of knowledge.
//Here is an example sheet I made of the Archon whom will be a major NPC or myself for the game. I purposely left some things out which will be explained in-game, but everything you guys need to know is there, I believe. Name: Tomaso Vivaldi Sex: Male Date of Birth: 1598 Image/Description: Species: Kindred Background/Occupation: Archon of the Camarilla, in his past life, he was a Banker and one-time attempter at Alchemy Residence: Has a haven in Venice, Italy. Though for now his current whereabouts are unknown. Personal Possessions: Carries a wooden staff, a silver dagger in the shape of the Camarilla ankh, a couple blood packs, his pocketwatch, his wallet, and his book on Thaumaturgy rituals and spells everywhere he goes. Backstory: Born in Venice to a modestly successful merchant family during the Renaissance, Tomaso Vivaldi grew up under the shadow of older brothers and sisters, dooming his chances of ever actually taking over his family's business, he was still expected to aid the family however he might. Studying as banker's apprentice, he developed a fascination for alchemy and the occult in his spare time, in spite of his parent's harsh reprimands to devote his time to the family and Christian teachings. He bought tomes on Paracelsus and other alchemists, but despite all the ritual and precise instruction, he only made a fool of himself trying to turn lead into gold, or perform other alchemical transformations. Dissatisfied, he buried his nose in his work, eventually becoming a banker himself right before the Black Plague hit Venice again in his lifetime in 1630. The Plague hit Tomaso's family hard, killing his father and many of his siblings within months, fearing death from possibly having caught the plague himself and the death of the rest of his family imminent, he scoured the streets of Venice looking for a cure. That fateful night, a pale-skinned man claiming Roman descent by the name of Carlo Urbino approached his pleas for help, and promised him a cure from the plague back at his apartment. Desperate and unsuspecting, Tomaso followed Carlo, to be cured of the plague, but also to be embraced as a member of the Tremere Clan that night, and joining the legions of the Lost and the Damned. His remaining family members would eventually be saved by being made Ghouls of Tomaso, though he left them to their business, never fully sealing the blood bond, and merely prolonging their lives. As his sire, Carlo explained the basics of Kindred society to Tomaso and taught him of his new abilities of Thaumaturgy, duties to his clan, and responsibilities as a Cainite. He also introduced him to many members the fairly recently formed Camarilla when they held their Conclave in Venice, 4 years later. Afterwards, he lost his Fledgling status and began serving his clan as they plied their machinations and those of the Camarilla across Europe for nearly the next 400 years. All the while practicing his art of Thaumaturgy and mastering his control over blood, fighting against Sabbat, Hunters, and other enemies which waged war with the Camarilla over the centuries. In 2011, when the Camarilla met again in their annual Venetian Conclave, and new Justicars were appointed by the Inner Circle. One in particular, Sophia Eckhardt of Clan Toreador, selected him, in secret towards the Conclave's conclusion, as one of her Archons, whereupon he has served her loyally for the past 4 years. Personal affiliations: Justicar Sophia Eckhart (Blood Bonded to) (Kindred Only) Clan: Tremere Embraced: 1630 Generation: 10th Generation Disciplines: Thaumaturgy, Presence, Domination Weaknesses: Fire, Sunlight Sire?: Carlo Urbino (Deceased) Rank?: Kindred Childe(r)?: N/A Political Affiliations: Camarilla Anything else of note?: He is of the 5th Circle of Mastery within the Tremere Clan
Ghoul humans are allowed...right? I'm thinking of making my Malkavian a sidekick... 3:
Everybody loves the Malks. It's interesting. I swear they are like the most popular clan to play as. And I'm not quite certain as to why. But it's definitely a trend. I'll bet a chronicle built for all Malkavian players would probably be a super big hit on here.

Malkavian fo' life! I guess people like playing them due to their many flavors of batshit nutty?
Major Ursa
People can definitely have Ghouls, Blood Dolls, or maybe even Childe(r) if they want. Its all about creating your own character and how they fit into this setting and universe. That's partially why I haven't given any real NPCs away is because I kind of want to give you guys the free reign to make up some of your own which could be incorporated.
Well, I have difficulty imagining any Hunters (or Werewolves for that matter) being upset that a group of powerful vampires were all suddenly slaughtered.
I am the Black Wizards
They could care if they are suspected to have been involved. The Camarilla isn't exactly looking for a war with Human Hunters or Werewolves, but that doesn't mean that a chaotic political situation in London wouldn't incite vengeful acts by Kindred, within the bounds that The Masquerade allows. I mean, Hunters may relish the opportunity to kill Vampires, but at what cost to the unknowing majority of metropolitan London? (If some of them even care about what happens to normal civilians either, many may not) It would be in their interests to ensure that they are not the subjects of retribution (Regardless of whether they actually had a hand in it or not). Whether they choose to aid the Camarilla in their investigation or not is another matter.
Thx for the info. Added.
I like the London setting and overarching idea though. By all means, give us some more teasers for the idea, like primary npc's and where elysium is, etc. I just got a fun idea for a disgruntled tremere who's an occult prodigy but now might be getting burnt out on unlife or even going insane and mostly spends his time either complaining or just trying not to slip into an an existential depression/apathy.

Speaking of Characters, I'm thinking we'll post up mock character sheets now. The final ones can be posted on the OOC when it goes up, so consider these your rough drafts. Here's a mock sheet: Name: Sex: Date of Birth: (Present Day in our game means literally, so 2015) Image/Description: Species:(Human, Kindred, or Werewolf) Background/Occupation: Residence: Personal Possessions: (Very broad in this, just list anything you feel is worth noting that your character may have with them on a given day, or at their home) Backstory:(Roughly 1-2 paragraphs is the minimum I'm expecting, there is no real maximum cap) Personal affiliations: (Do they know anyone in particular? If so, what's their relationship with them. ex. Joe Schmo (Personal Enemy). Be as detailed as you wish) (Kindred Only) Clan: (Note that Caitiff, or Clanless, is also an option) Embraced:(Year they became a Vampire) Generation:(FYI and it should be self-explanatory but for those who don't know, NO ANTEDILUVIANS OR CAINE WANNABES! So the range is 4-15) Disciplines: (I'm willing to be lenient on these, just don't go overboard. Also put how powerful each discipline is, if you feel its worth noting) Weaknesses:(Those associated with the Clan, along with any others you guys add depending on Background, if you so desire) Sire?: Rank?:(Fledgling/Neonate, Kindred, or Elder?) Childe(r)?: Political Affiliations: (Camarilla, Anarch, Independent, or Undeclared. This isn't really a huge deal, as players could change over the game, but its up to you guys.) Anything else of note?: (Werewolves Only) [//I'll be honest, I know next to nothing on Werewolves in WoD, so feel free to let me know about stuff I could add) Auspice: Tribe: (If accepted in one) Breed: Gifts: Pack/Packmates: Totem: Rites/Howls: Rank: Weaknesses: Let me know if you guys have any suggestions for revisions or additions to these mock sheets. In regards to information, I'm primarily going off of the unofficial White Wolf and Bloodlines wikis.
> I've always liked this world but have never been able to get my hands on the materials. I'm interested and does anyone know if the Steam version of Bloodlines works on win 7? XD I beat the whole game myself on a Windows 7 via steam not too long ago, it does require a community patch though. Its fairly easy to obtain and load, just search through the player critiques, some of them posted a link.
[Lag caused Double-post)
Well, hellrazor and I have come up with a basis for a starting plot line premise. Tell us what you guys think: The setting is present day London, Great Britain, The Prince, and several other Elder Kindred have been found dead, and nobody knows who killed them. The Inner Circle of the Camarilla responds by appointing a Justicar to investigate the situation, whom in turn sends an Archon to London as their representative. Their purpose, to find the identities of those responsible for the killings and exact justice upon them if possible, and oversee the situation in London until a new Prince is appointed and order restored. That's the overarching premise. You guys are all Kindred, Humans, or maybe even Werewolves residing within London's vicinity, who will all play a role in the investigation as the Archon assembles a network to help them in their task. Other side jobs and plot lines will revolve and spin off as the main one is pursued, just like in the games. The goal is not to end the plot in a conventional way, and to show off more of the interplaying politics within the Camarilla and Kindred society than a Sabbat-Camarilla war. The Standard Camarilla and Anarch clans will be available in regards to Vampire selection. What do you think?
