nah nah. take you're time, stuffs a bit everywhere at the moment, it'l all come in good time

Ah, alright. If it's cool with you.
Oh, sorry about making you wait, Brod. I just thought I'd give Jabber the opportunity to respond first before I responded to Edge. I'll get another post out ASAP.
Ooooh, yeah I get it. Seems pretty cool to me, it's not all that hard to understand if you just reread it a bit.
I think it might be a good idea, could you give an example of how the stats would work?

To everyone, I believe I have just jumped the gun. The results that where handed down to me wasn't actually mine. Long story short, t'was a false alarm. I'm here to stay. And , when making techniques, avoid making them overly complicated. The one that you just came up with, seems were technical and requires a lot of steps; I doubt your enemies would just wait to get hit by that. You're all rookies. Also, avoid using your trait as being the pivot point of your technique. Use your fighting style, the trait is only there to act as a supplement. Its just a bonus that I gave away. Zoro never used his Power of Destruction as a principle of his techniques, it just served to strengthen them.I don't mind this, as long as you know that you aren't any stronger than the other rookies and that you should prepare for Pirates who think they have a score to settle with you. This was something that made me cringe. First and foremost, Nakama means colleague, compatriot, friend or comrade. Being dubbed as a mere "crewmate" seems like a poor way to put it. Anyway, each character is a character by itself and isn't any less of a character regardless of his status and or rank. The quality of one's CS should not be lessened just because he's not going to make a character worthy of being a captain. All of the Straw Hats had a sufficient backstory regardless of being the captain or not. That was a good joke my friend. Will try to get an update up as soon as I can.

That's such a huge relief! I'm glad you're okay. I won't ask what you mean by "results" since I guess that must kind of private, but I'm happy to see you'll still be GMing. Still though, welcome back! Even though the break was kind of short. :D

Just making sure but has it already been decided if we would have one or multiple crews yet? And if so who will have what position? And in case of multiple crews, who joins who and once again in what position?

Well, I had a chat with X a bit of time ago and invited Kurama to join Rem's crew. X agreed to let Kurama join Rem's crew. X also mentioned that (if I'm not mistaken) Oscario's character (Yui) might also be joining. I don't really have any official positions in mind for for them as of yet but I'm thinking about Kurama being Rem's first mate.

To everyone that is a part of this roleplay, I would like to apologize, but the problems I have mentioned a few days ago have completely resurfaced. With this, I believe I won't be able to do updates for an indefinite period. As of now, my presence in the site will be intermittent, but eventually, I will not be able to go online anymore.I have spoken to a few players, and they suggested that I look for someone to take my place as acting GM for the time being, but I am unsure if any are willing to. For what it's worth, if anyone is interested, feel free to post so or send me via PM. Again, my deepest apologies to you all.

I don't really think you have anything to apologize for. Stuff happens that might make continuing to GM an ordeal and that's understandible. If anything, we should be thanking you for sharing such a good idea with us all. This is one of those few times where I'm actually genuinely excited for an RP, rather than using it as a way to waste some time.

So once again, thank you for even starting this to begin with, I hope you're able to deal with all of your problems alright.

So, is everybody pumped for a chance at more character development? I am mostly trying to create small talk seeing as I have nothing to really do. I know I am happy to have more character development for Vis. Especially if his development involves me creating more techniques.

I sure am! I'm pretty much just waiting for Jabber to get a chance to post and then Rem'll give his answer to Edge. I'll probably include a bit of information about Rem's former captain and crew. Also, I've been thinking about a new technique for Rem. All I'll say is that it'll include hair, and possibly spit.
Location: Main Plaza

Rem

Rem covered one of his ears to avoid listening to the awful sound the claws made, it was physically painful to listen to it. Rem was quickly growing irritated not only at the amount of people getting on the platform at once, but he was now especially annoyed with Cheshire. He really didn't care about what he had to say, he still just wanted him off the platform!

"Hey! Cat-guy! Get the hell..." Rem stopped mid-sentence. He was able to fully register Cheshire's appearance and realized who he was speaking to. It was hard not to hear anything about the man, his bizarre appearance really made remembering him all the easier. A wide, creepy smile, a weird appearance that greatly resembled a cat. It had to be Cheshire, the pirate executioner!

He had talked about him with his former crew. He had heard some really nasty rumors about him, almost all of them about the brutal ways he murdered his targets. For example, one story mentioned that once he was done with his victim, he chopped them up until only bits of them remained. Whether or not these rumors were true or not, he did not know. But he was able to make a clear connection that he was going to act upon.

If Cheshire was the pirate executioner, if Rem defeated him, that would make Rem the "Pirate Executioner: Executor", which he thought would be a pretty cool title to have. But this thought process was broken as he the screams of the pirates down below became louder. For someone who had just finished knocking several of them out, this disturbed him a great deal, and admittedly made him somewhat apprehensive about facing him.

But nonetheless, Rem finally climbed up the platform and was facing right at him. But as he got on, he sensed that there was great danger in even being near the executioner! Naturally, that was something to be expected. But he also got that same feeling from the purple guy...weird. As a matter of fact, he could've sworn purple guy wasn't there a moment ago, did he just not notice him climbing? "Executioner!" He yelled out, not letting the strange sense of danger get the best of him.

"I'm gonna beat the crap out of you!"
Oh, speaking of which, do you think it might be possible for Rem to fight Cheshire? Rem is pretty much getting irritated by the fact that Edge and Chesire are even on the platform to begin with, so he'll pretty much just want them both off.
