Hello, Several Monstergirl ideas here, will list the ideas I have with Monstergirl that interst me, anything not here that you want to try out let me know and I will try my best.

Bold means I am craving it, remember, open to suggestions so just pm me if interested.
Obviously 18+ I enjoy longer posts, but all I want is that my partner not consistently post 1-2 sentences.

YC is a mage, whether modern day or old fantasy. Your character lives in a college just for mages, a new addition to the guard draws your attention when you have to pick her head up off the floor for her.

Let me help you with that.

Your first day at school is not going well, and when you slam facefirst into a senior while distracted looking for your classroom you are reduced to babbling, especially when her head stares at you from the floor.

Even at the age of 18 your mother never trusts you, so she hires the newly moved in neighbor to babysit you. You think the worst until you first see her, a beautiful grown woman with the body of a snake from the waist down.

Childhood freinds and coming of age
Ever since you remember, you and her have been freinds, inseparable for any length of time. You thought you knew everything about her, but now that she has you pinned to the ground with her lower half wrapped tight around you, you are learning a few new thinga, not that it's really a bad thing.

Anyone ever played daggerfall? I only played it for a little, took so long to get a dos emulator running and even longer to run dagerfall on it. Never got far into it.

I think for me it was alyeid ruins in oblivion. So damnned spooky and dark, filled with undead and goblins. And the eerie blue glow and fog, way too spooky for me. At least there was noise in the dwarven ruins, no such luck in alyeid ruins, if there was noise it was so quiet you would not even know if you made the noise up in your head.

Zevran the Enchanter and Igor the owl

Name: Zevran
Race: Breton
Sex: Male

Family Origins: Born to a fairly rich family in High Rock, he ignored everything save his studies, watching from a distance as his brothers and sisters led on with their boring lives. His family was above average, but not nearly powerful enough to be of any political or social concern.
Appearance:

Just under avrage height for a Breton, with fair and soft unblemished skin. His hair is short and often styled, the color a plantinum blonde. His eyes a striking blue. Never seen without his layered blue robes or his snow owl Igor.

Igor is the perfect example of a snow owl who has been overly spoiled. Perfect white feathers always where they should be, an almost snooty look in it's always observing eyes and a small metal collar hanging around it's neck that gently glitters with a minor detect life enchantment.
Equipment: Silver shortsword, silver dagger, thin chainmail shirt.
Misc. Possessions: Enough preserved food for two days, thee water skins, Preserved rodent meat ( for the owl ) Basic enchanting supplies, very basic alchemy supplies.

History: Born to a fairly well off family, he never took to the normal mage life or even the normality of everyday. He instead enjoyed learning about magic and experimenting where he could, this is where his love of enchanting came from. When he was 10 he began taking lessons from the nearby mages guild. His lessons spanned multiple schools of magic, but his favorite by far was enchanting due to the freedom it gave him. Him being born under the sign of the Atronach seemed to make no difference, for his enthusiasm for magic led him to fix his problem with drain magika spells and magika potions.

For years he learned, distancing himself from his family unil he eventually stopped concerning himself with them all together. He spent 3 yearsnof his life traveling, and met his new freind Igor in skyrim, where a necromancer had been experimenting on animals. He quickly found his way into the ranks of the dwemer dig site, and cannot wait for his chance to learn about the extinct peopes and their magic.
Personality:
Quiet but very eciteable when it comea to magic. He enjoys reading, and anybody kind enough to deal with him long enough to get him to work.

He very much enjoys working on enchantments, and if somebody can bring him the materials, he will always domhis best to understand and create what is needed.

Alright then, I will be working on a cs as soon as possible and will post it here when finished, do know I am being forced to write on a tablet though so there WILL be errors I may miss, but if I find them after I post I will edit and fix them.

One last thing, what is the stance on pets? A bird, owls or hawks, things of that nature.

Alongside the fact I would like to see genbor's questions about magic answered, I would also like to know the stance on enchanted items if the created character is supposed to be an expert. Also, if magika is something to keep track of, does it influence enchanting?

The question about tracking magika usage intersts me greatly due to the fact Inplan onnmaking a character born under the oblivion sign of the atronach, a larger magika pool than normal, but no magika regen and a natural absorb spell effect.

That is actually a pretty good idea. A good few years after the angels arrive, the orcs arrive close behind and ready for war. This would provide another real element of plot, especially if one of the other roleplayers decide to use an orc as their character.

As for the rune based magic, magic in this universe is very heavily influenced by two things. The inherent magical ability of the race, and the personality of the person wishing to practice magic. For example, somebody who is hot headed and prone to overlooking details would be close in line with the element of fire, allowing them to much more easily control the element.

It was an old idea I never used for anything and something I am still looking to tweak before really using it completely, the only problem is that finishing up this kind of magic would require me seeing how people try to develop their characters around a magic system where magic that directly conflicts with their character's personality can be just as dangerous for the user as it would be for the targets.

Think of the period people call the " Golden age of piracy " There are gunpowder based weaponry such as cannons and gunpowder pistols. With the addition of magic gunpowder weaponry is much more versatile. If one can find the correct mage willing to help, or IS the correct mage, they can enchant the normal ammunition to grant added effects. Think slightly more advanced than medevil. I would not know the DnD era cause I really don't play DnD.
