While he could feel her body tense in his arms, that didn't stop him from sliding down in the bed, embracing her entirely as he did so. He could feel she needed this moment, and he was going to let her have the moment. The weight of the world seemed to be on her shoulders, and now he wanted to help her carry those burdens that plagued her. Carefully he pulled the blankets over them, not caring if they had a system in place, as he wanted her to feel like she was protected from any possible outside force at the moment.

Slowly he tuned to where she was facing him, so he could wrap his arms directly around her. His free hand slowly moved up to her chin, while her gently thumbed away at her tears. "Let it all out... I'm here for you Sol." He whispered softly into her ear as he refused to let her go at this point. He clutched onto her as if she was his lifeline. He clung to her while listening to her speak as he didn't know what else to do for her other than to just hold her.

Joran could feel the heartbreak in her voice, in the way her body was letting it seep out. He pulled her that much tighter as if he wanted to absorb her pain so that she didn't have to feel it anymore. His heart was slowly breaking just seeing someone that he knew as as strong woman have to bare this burden alone. "You don't have to keep it pent up anymore, okay?" He whispered softly as he brushed his lips against her forehead, just trying to do anything to reassure her.

Maybe this was why they had met? Maybe they both needed each other to heal old scars. Maybe this was the universe throwing two people together so that they could help each other survive?00000000
The way her hand moved across his skin was entirely soothing to him. He felt the tension inside of his body slowly slipping from his entire body just by the small motions of her hands. The motions had actually caused him to curl up a bit tighter to her for a moment as he felt his breath catch in the back of his throat for a moment. Joran realized he completely trusted her, which was something he didn't believe anyone else in the Galaxy could actually say.

Once she started to speak of her mother, he looked up at her, noticing the far-off look to her eyes that was slowly entering her eyes. Her throat had tightened, but he felt it wouldn't be right to speak at the moment. Slowly though, he was pulling himself off of her lap and was now sitting beside her. The moment she was describing was such a wonderful moment, he could see it in her eyes. He could feel the wet tears fall onto him as he just slowly snaked his left arm behind her.

Without running into too much resistance, or at least he hoped she would, he pulled her softly into his lap, letting his legs move to the sides of her legs, while embracing her tightly. Laying his chin over her shoulder, his cheek pressed softly against hers as he slowly laced his fingers with hers. "Do not apologize. You are safe here." He whispered softly into her ear as he closed his eyes while pulling her a little closer, just to make sure she knew it was okay.
"I mean, I wanted a bigger room, but this was what we were given, I even tried to use my frequent flier miles to upgrade." Joran felt the smile that had appeared through the tone in her voice. It was one of those infectious smiles that just plastered his own grin across his face. "I wouldn't be in this room with anyone else." He looked up and winked at her while the kitten comment caused a small red hue to cross his face for only a moment.

Getting comfortable even more, he felt his own body moving closer to hers, while he slowly pulled himself more into her lap in a completely teasing way. "I guess that makes me your pet... and normally I would be offended by that, but I guess I could make an exception." It definitely was this planet, and this room that was causing all of this. He chuckled softly as he realized that was kind of already true based on her finding out about his Force Sensitivity. "I mean... I guess that's probably how Snoke sees us."

"Tell me whatever you want to tell me, and then you can ask me for another story." Feeling her nails softly run underneath his chin, he almost wanted to purr just because of the kitten joke, but he refrained from now. This had been the closest to a person he had ever been. Normally it would be a few witty comments, but he was notorious for wanting to work solo mostly, nor did he ever really want stragglers in his missions.
"Death can't keep me down. I'm too stubborn to die. Still have a few things I want in my life before I feel like I would even consider it." He could feel the emotion in the air grow heavier, and then she started to move away from him. That was before she made the small patting gesture, and he knew what she had wanted him to do. Curling his own head into her lap, he felt some comfort in her actions as her finger nails started to work through his hair.

"Death isn't going to stop me from living my life. I'm not afraid of it, I embraced it many years ago. I still have much more things keeping me alive, and I won't allow myself to die until everything, I feel, is taken care of." Slowly he tucked one of his arms underneath her knee, almost using her leg like a pillow. For the first moment in a long while, Joran allowed the silence to take over the room as he just lay there, content with the moment.

"We should probably stay a week... You know, just to make sure." Turning his eyes up towards her, he gave her a lopsided smile. "I mean, I'm sure you have some stories you could tell, and the rebels aren't here yet. Not to mention... This might be the best job I have ever been sent on. This has to be the best mission you have been sent on, strictly because I am here." His lips turned up into a smile as he started to rub his head into her leg in a very cat-like manner.
Once she was laying on the bed as well, he couldn't help but turn towards her and shake his head. "Nah, you clearly exist... I mean someone that isn't real couldn't give me this much of a headache." He smiled a bit as he knew that story time was upon them. "You don't want me out of your mind. It's okay to admit that, you know?"

"I don't even know where to begin. This planet was once targeted to be pulled under the Empire's control. Though it... as you can tell... is mostly home to Republic members, and the former Rebel Alliance. Though, this planet mostly has been kept quiet when it comes to announcing where it's allegiances lie. At first it was thought that it would make a great hideaway planet for the Emperor, yet a few of us were sent here to make sure that everything was fit for him." Joran only shook his head as he sighed a bit.

"I was seventeen at the time, and had just had a bit of a brush-off with the Rebels to begin with. To say they didn't like me is a heavy understatement. Though who couldn't like a guy like me?" He turned his body now so that he was staring up at the ceiling, but was giving her more than enough room on the bed, practically making himself almost fall off in the process. "It was suppose to be a team of four of us that would land planet side, then scope out the major cities, and such."

His left hand moved up to his face and traced the scar that ran across his otherwise normal looking face. "What we didn't know was that we had a traitor in the group. Well, not necessarily a traitor, but someone that was willing to stab us in the back for the bounties on our heads. His idea was he would take a watch, slit our throats in our sleep, and turn us in. Hosnian Prime was the perfect place to do it as he found out relatively fast." The sigh that escaped his lips caused him to shake his head.

"The traitor notified the bastards that we had landed and the the exact place we were staying. He was going to make sure I was alive, the other two were dead. Well... He managed to kill the first guy, which caused me to wake up... all I remember was his knife cutting at my face as I tackled him out of a window... and then soldiers storming the building as we rolled off the side. Our fourth, who was the guy that had practically raised me... Well he decided to hold them off to let me escape after I had managed to snap the bastards neck. Then I remember running."

"Three days I stole from a marketplace, keeping my head down before, trying to find out any information that I could about the area. No higher-ups in the Rebellion were attached to the planet, just that most of the people supported the cause. Though, rumors of a captured spy happened to be leaking. I'm assuming it was to lure any other spies out who dared to attempt a rescue mission. If you think I'm crazy now, you should have seen me back then. I remember catching three or four random guards with their pants down so to speak and stole their weaponry."

Joran's face turned darker for a moment as he closed his eyes for the next part, as if he was reliving the moment. "Coming upon the building they were holding the claimed spy, I heard a scream in pain, and then I remember the blind fury completely taking over. Blackness took hold, and I woke up with plenty of dead rebels in that building. Finding him dead was the last straw that had really sent me over the top. All I remember was calling in for support, then being forced off the planet at some point by storm troopers, who literally had to grab me by the arms and legs and hoist me onto the ship. I wanted to raze the planet. If I had been in control of any massive ship, I'm sure most of this planet would no longer exist."

"The Emperor wasn't happy with the outcome, yet he was grateful we had found a hive of Rebels. Though it ended up becoming a planet we were not able to capture, as there was just too much of a resistance against the Empire. We also gave up on it, taking more of a direct route to attempt to remove the Rebel Alliance... and the rest is history... Sorry to bore you with all the details." He looked over at her as he didn't really know what else to say.
The information she recited was quite a bit on point, but also left out a number of missions that weren't officially missions, more favors he would guess. The black-listed stuff that no one needed to know about. Though the Resistance wanting him alive confused him a bit, considering the last time he had encountered them in any official way, he killed a Senator, and they were still called the Rebels. Why would they want him alive?

"No. The physical file could be burned for all I care. I prefer not having a record on file for me." Tapping a finger to his chin he allowed a soft sigh to escape his list. "I assume a bunch of those mission records have heavy black ink all over them, don't they? I reported more than half directly to Snoke, not to mention the other... errands he sent me on, and going back to before I was even apart of the Empire or the First Order... those were interesting times as well."

Standing up, he started to pace around a slight bit, trying to work this jigsaw puzzle out, but it seemed there would be a few pieces to the puzzle missing for the time being. "Though I see you are keeping tabs on me. Can't get me out of your mind?" He teased as he was the one now trying to bring his own mind back from racing. Though, he knew that possibility wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

"The last time I was on this planet... The mission went south. We didn't know what the hell we were getting into with the local Rebellion. It was a different time back then." His face fell a bit as he allowed the breath he was holding in to escape. Stopping at the bed, he fell back onto it with a careless nature about it. This seemed to be a bit of a different Joran. "I guess it's story time then?" He chuckled softly as he looked over at her, wondering if she even actually cared.
The slow methodical motions of his fingers moved along every inch of her foot, making sure that he tended to it properly, as he didn't believe in half-assing anything that he did. "You wish is my command, milady." Once he felt like he had adequately helped the current foot out, he quickly lift her other foot up into his lap and started to apply the same techniques that he had learned long ago to the foot. Having to disguise yourself as a masseuses meant learning the part.

"I feel like our information was false, or someone has tipped them off to our presence. They were suppose to be having this meeting two days ago... Where are they? Do you think they have been tipped off?" That wasn't all he was worried about, but those were the main concerns at the moment. His mind was lost to other thoughts of that last time he was on this forsaken planet. It was how the scar across his face had been born.

"How much does my file say about me? I know you have one about everyone, because I have been given access to files from time to time... Though some people just aren't in the archive. I know I am one of them... what does my file say about me?" It might have seemed out of the blue, but maybe he had been made when they got the room. Something just wasn't adding up, and he was trying to put the pieces together to see if anything made sense.
Every single moment of this mission screamed boring, yet Joran could not classify the mission as boring in the slightest. Stakeouts always seemed to be the worst possible mission to draw in the grand scheme of things, especially when it comes to being solo. The enigma to all of this was the younger woman that had decided to keep him on his toes. Though, he couldn't complain as she was more than happy to put up with him for the duration of the mission.

The moment he felt he lean into his body, he decided to lean back into her for the moment as he thought about stealing some of the dried fruit that she had in the bowl, which meant the moment she went to pop one into her mouth, his hand quickly snatched it from the air and tossed it into his own mouth. "While I definitely agree with you, then we wouldn't have all this time together." Though he felt her foot slowly poking at his side.

"It's the same damn thing... Nothing. No one has entered, or left." Reaching down, he started to actually massage her feet a bit, not even realizing that he was actually doing it. Something was definitely on his mind, as this had to have been the quietest he had been the entire time in two days.

Joran's attire seemed to be entirely more relaxed that usual, his hair was actually down for the moment. The solid black under-armor shit gripped tightly to his body, something that was clearly meant to be wore underneath his chest plate, along with some baggy pants that matched the shirt color. He continued to stare directly out the window as he pulled her foot up into his lap so he could massage it a bit better. "This stays between us."
Solaras hadn't even given him the chance to make any sort of a comeback as she left the room with that helmet of hers on. A sigh escaped his lips as he felt the smile on his face. Of course this was going to be far more challenging than he had ever anticipated. Shrugging his shoulders a bit, mostly to get a feel for how the sore one was holding up, he sighed as he head for the door of the room he had been placed in, once she had enough time to get some distance.

Over the course of the next few hours, he'd done just about everything he possibly could have to commandeer two blaster pistols, a long range rifle, and a missile launcher. Well the missile launcher may have partially been taken from the barracks without permission, but no one would notice it was gone. You never know when you will need a good explosion with Solaras around, or at least that was how he justified it in his head.

Once he was able scavenge up the armor he had left just lying around, he wondered about getting a helmet. Deciding against it, as how could he dare hide his handsome mug from the world, he sighed a bit as he made sure that the gear he had on was suitable for whatever mission they were to be given. Some would liken him to an elite black Storm Trooper in the armor he had chosen out, with the exception of the helmet. While they would be wrong, he did like giving off the impression that he was just a lower on the totem pole kinda guy, as that let him work in the shadows even easier.
Joran's eyes glanced back at her over his shoulder as he lift his good arm up in a casual way and just shook his head. "You know, most people ask for a second date in less aggressive ways. All you had to do was ask." Turning towards her once more, he decided to press the issue a bit, and just see how much it took to get on her nerves. "Oh I always listen, don't mistake my actions as I don't. Just because I prefer not going in with a plan doesn't mean I won't listen to you."

Studying her face for a moment, he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Well, if this is all in order, I have a few things I need to go make sure have made it's way onto the ship. I figured this mission would lead directly into a much better mission, though I will admit that you blew away any expectations that I might have had, I know how Snoke rewards me for missions I deem boring. It's typically an assassination or something along those lines. Mind you, if we both are sent together, I feel sorry for the bastard that is our target. He'll have to hear your loud mouth." Joran was aiming to piss her off just a bit, as only he could do and hopefully get away with it. If not, oh well, a dislocated shoulder was worth it.
