Anna mentally groaned when it seemed the guy wasn't going to take no for an answer. She was about to politely refuse his...offer when Cinead stepped in and told him to back off in a more efficient manner. She felt a shiver go down her spine from attraction and intimidation as he spoke. He sounded like he was her boyfriend or something...and she really liked it. The guy looked like he was about to pee his pants, but she didn't blame him. Cin did not look like a guy you wanted to mess with, especially now.
She was also surprised when he decided to mix their order, but didn't fight it for fear of ruining the act. That and she didn't want any of that intensity pointed at her right now. She guessed it kind of made them even for the day before when she paid for his lunch, but it didn't feel so right. She got out the small amount for the pizza slice he ordered and resolved to give it to him when they finally sat down. Anna couldn't help herself when the man speed walked into the kitchen again. She had a somewhat smug grin, despite the fact that she didn't contribute a thing to why he retreated the way he did.
They were soon served and Cin went to go and pick out a table. Anna's smug grin had since gone away by that point, but a small smile still graced her features. She looked up at him to see he was trying not to look at her yet. Maybe he was composing himself? Anna usually had to recharge after pulling similar stunts like that. They ended up sitting in another semi private booth.
"...Thank you for saving me back there, Cin." She thanked after getting her slice and drink. "It didn't seem like he was gonna give up for a second there." She nervously chuckled, rubbing her neck a bit sheepishly. "So, why not try the plain pizza for now if you're still in the mood to eat." She suggested, trying to get him to focus on their original objective: To get him to understand the beauty that was pizza.
