So school has started up for me again today and will be most of my time. Although I still will be active in the RP, it might take some time for me to make posts.
Lomen

@Jangel13

As Lomen listened he noticed two things besides the wisdom of Grandpa Goblin. Firstly was that a new goblin that had seemed to be extremely weak the night before tested the rain to see if it was safe and burrowed into a crevice that Lomen had passed over due to his size. It was interesting to see the goblin explore and took a mental note to stop by soon.

Second was that Zectoll gave back his spear and at the moment seemed to be really antsy and Lomen was intent upon possibly introducing this new goblin Lomen spotted to Zectoll, further expanding a group of those that would likely protect one another and grow.

With those thoughts in mind, Lomen responded to Grandpa Goblin with curiosity and nervousness.

"That is good to know. I will be on the lookout for a skeleton with skin black as burnt wood. I wonder what it would taste like. . . As a last question, and possibly favor. Would you teach me how to make my rabbit pelt into a bag and my black wolf pelt into a leather armor? I must collect more in this world and also arm myself with better gear for exploration."

Lomen realized that he is possibly asking too much, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. If he could gain experience that will push him towards more knowledge and ability to explore than it is worth a chance.

@December@El Noche
-After the lessons-

"Thank you Grandfather. I have learned much today, but I feel as though I need to meed another of my family before I forget where they went off to."

After Learning with Grandpa Goblin, Lomen went over to the alcove that Skubli went into and noted that he was a little too large to get in, but nearby were stones that looked like they could be used to open up the crevice. Just before using a rock to did he motioned for Zectoll to come over, thinking that he might want to meet someone new as well.

"Hi. My name is Lomen and I am one of the goblins of this cave. I was wondering if I could come into the alcove you found? I am a little tall so I would need to dig out an opening, but I wanted to ask first as to not scare you. Zectoll, another goblin brother, might join me as well. What is your name and would it be ok for me to start digging to get in?"

Lomen was curious about this goblin that dug into the wall by the looks of things and was much smaller than himself. It would be nice to learn how to dig as well, but Lomen was more excited about meeting someone new from his family. He hoped that Zectoll would join him as well since company is usually nice on rainy days. Either way, Lomen hoped to meet and possibly learn from Skubli.

Lomen listened with intent and repeated the names of the gods and what they reigned over. After a few moments of repeating the names and locking them into his memory, Lomen focused back onto Grandpa Goblin and munched a bit on the bones he had brought over.

"Then what of the beasts of this world? I have only seen the rabbit, wolf, and boar so far but there must be more. What are these creatures and are there any that are much more dangerous than the common breed?"

Lomen remembered a similar question being asked by Zectoll and had been pondering what the answer could be. Hopefully Grandpa Goblin could enlighten him. As he thought this he looked around and saw a new Goblin talking with Kishi and Zectoll practicing with some fanged gloves. Lomen smiled.

"It is good to see the others making progress."

The smile quickly faded as he realized he hadn't made anything for himself yet and had only what was given to him by his hunts and Agrithor the god of the earth. With that small point hitting home, he refocused again onto Grandpa Goblin with eyes hungry for Knowledge.

Lomen awoke to the sound of rain pouring outside and didn't truly feel awake until the thunder stuck in the distance. This new sound startled him a bit and as such, looked to Grandpa Goblin.

"Young ones try not to leave the cave, its dangerous outside"

It seemed that the cave was still as safe an area as it had been in the future, although Lomen wondered what may be seen beyond the cave when the rain fell. Perhaps he would find out later in his life when he became strong enough. With this in mind he staggered up and went to the entrance of the cave, cupping his hands together to capture the water and drank. The meat of the boar would sustain the others, and Lomen noticed a tenancy to eat bones was slightly uncommon so he resolved to mostly eat only the bones today and leave the meat for the others. Although he did cut a small slice of meat off the boar and wandered to Grandpa Goblin, offering it too him.

"Grandfather, I am afraid that I may be asking too much, and that I may not entirely know what to ask, but I desire to know more about this world. Could you please teach me about the gods of this world and how to become closer with them? The creatures and races that inhabit this land? Or any notable beasts that reside near to us that might be either a great threat to us or a worthy hunt? There is so much I must know."

Lomen then took a moment to gather himself.

"Well I guess for starters, could you teach me about the Gods? I really desire to know more."

Lomen then sat at attention, eager to listen and absorb everything Grandpa Goblin had to say. It was quickly becoming a mission to gather knowledge of the world around him in order to grow closer to it and benefit those around himself.
@Musaki Hajime

I would be ok with getting sped along to the mission. If anything it will allow for a more interesting progression depending on how fights would go through in this type of format.
Lomen

Lomen smiled at the generosity that he and Kishi were able to bring to the clan. It would be good for the moral of the clan and would be better to have everyone well fed. No need to create family enemies. He then smiled and gave a thumbs up to Kishi as Lomen walked to Grandpa and waited for a good moment to make a comment.

"Grandpa. If you have time tomorrow, would you teach me more of this world?

Lomen still had that hunger in the back of his mind to know more of this life that was around him and eagerly awaited the wise goblin's response. After hearing an answer, Lomen would proceed to skin the boar and give a hefty slice to Grandpa Goblin. As he took care of them on their first days, they would take care of him in his later days. No matter how many that may be. After giving the first piece, Lomen repeated the process to give all the goblins in the cave a fair share, taking food to the goblins who were weaker than others first so they may live. Every now and again he would snack on a small bone or two that other goblins seemed to shy away from. They almost tasted sweet to him.

After some time and most of the boar likely being gone, Lomen would then go to work on making the stick and medium horn he had into a spear. With some time he hoped to have another weapon to add to his list of possible weapons. After some time with that he would start attempting to make the rabbit pelt he had into a type of bag for storing items. It would be a bit tricky since his spine protruded a bit but Lomen knew he would make it work. He would pick up the pelt later if nobody picked it up and still kept the wolf corpse around where hes set himself up for the night in case Kishi still wanted to learn how to skin the wolf. If not he would share the wolf meat with the others as well and then eat some of the bones before going to bed.

Lomen

"...I don't know what you're talking about, Brother Lomen....We should take this back home. We can divide up the parts back there. Besides, this thing is too large to carry back with anything else, and the blood will draw lot's of attention."

"So you mean to say you have never acquired any skills from your previous battles? Not even any special strikes or the kind? I was hoping I could possibly see if I could learn a few of your skills and teach you some of mine. Either way, I agree that we need to take this back together brother Kishi."

Lomen smiled and helped lift the boar and started them off towards the cave. He kept an even pace so that Kishi would match it and they would be able to get back to the cave within a good amount of time. Meanwhile Lomen kept his ear open to Kishi and enjoyed the clean air of the forest as a small breeze brushed past. Lomen sniffed the air to see how it smelled and also to see if there was anything unusual upwind that would be better off avoided.

Lomen watched with unblinking eyes as the Boar died in front of him. This was an important moment that he might not get to witness again, the death of something living without being the one to kill. Where he had seen the wolfs die earlier, it was not while staring into its eyes as life left them. It was a whole new experience as the boar's body twitched as Kishi made his strike and hit a major vital point as the body seemed to have moment of shock realizing the damage. The board did not simply lay down though, it attempted to stay up, legs trembling, mouth wavering, and its eyes fluttering. With a few harsh breaths the boar let out a last long breath as its body stopped all movement and Lomen watched as the eyes focused on him one last time before the light faded from the beast's eyes, rolling back into its head and its body collapsing to the ground.

That moment felt profound as he took a moment to gaze upon the boar's resting corpse and how peaceful it looked. It helped calm the fear of Death since Lomen saw how peaceful the boar looked, almost smiling at the mouth, as if content with how it left this world. As Lomen was about to that the gods, he realized how ignorant he was. Here he is, a goblin with no knowledge of the world tring to gain the favor of gods that he understands nothing about. He considered himself lucky that they had tolerated him and closed his eyes.

"I apologize for my ignorance and thank you for tolerating my ignorance."

He promised himself that he would discover as much as he could about this world and about those that lord over it. Hopefully grandpa would know more but this gave Lomen a sense of purpose in this world that he was brought into. The thought of learning more about the world excited him and to calm down he moved to the boar and dug out its heart, being weary to make sure Kishi's spear did not hurt him in the process.

"You should eat a bit as well before we take this back to camp. I think it would be best to share our hunt with the clan since I am well fed and we still have a wolf I need to show you how to skin.

Lomen intended to share this great feast with Grandpa goblin and the other goblins that were less fortunate. No need to make enemies in the family and nothing seems to bring family together like food. After devouring the heart he licked his lips and looked at the tusks, seeing them as better short weapons than the rabbit horn.

"Also, Kishi, I do not know what happened when you made your screech earlier, but I have gotten a skill called 'challenge'. Did you get something like this after the fight with the wolves?"

It was important to find out if he was the only one getting skills such as this or if it was a common thing. If the latter was true than it would be good to find out if actions result in multiple options and how to go about giving ones self more abilities and thus more options. Either way Lomen would be content with more knowledge that he felt like he wanted to amass.

Kevin felt a bit uneasy with the lacking information of what the package looked like, but Gregory seemed to have enough confidence in the information to stay silent. As Kevin milled over the information, he memorized the face and name of the vip in case Kevin would be the individual to find the professor. With that in mind, Kevin then also returned the file. Best to keep all information away from the enemies should the worst happen to him on the mission.

Kevin then saluted Dawn and Gregory. "I will be in your care sir. I will make some more final checks of my Valk before the mission starts. I trust you will give us more details about the package when the time is right. Sir." Kevin then made another salute and left the room with haste.

With that Kevin quickly made his way to the hangar in order to do another final check upon TT. If anything it was to make sure he would be safe in the cockpit and added a few amenities, such as water and some food in and emergency glove-box he installed into TT for storage of small items like food or entertainment. Afterwards he checked the main systems to make sure they were running appropriately, all systems worked as they should. It was a good sign as Kevin then checked secondary and tertiary systems to make sure all was well. He then made sure TT was charging properly before settling down outside his Valk.

After the final system was done being looked over, Kevin sat himself down and busted out his notebook and began to conceptualize a better power system for TT. It took a lot of energy to start up and the charging time is ridiculous in comparison to other mechs of its size. This would be the most important hurdle for him to cross before really considering his mech to be an optimal machine. He couldn't completely use the same power system other mechs used due to usage of mechs from different stages of development. The current power system would act as a good base to expand upon, but it would have to be the first item replaced otherwise TT would run a greater risk in missions that were closer together time-wise.

As Kevin worked outside of TT, it was fairly obvious he was milling over it and on occasion would smack the paper on his face or let out a small groan while looking at the paper. In the midst of this he was sketching, jotting down notes for himself, and in general just trying to let his ideas flow and noting where the science could back up his ideas. It was a painfully slow process, but one that would be worth it in the end. TT was standing proof of that.

@KabenSaal

Indeed it is. And even in it's infancy it has already had its share of people who have left to never return, one who has come back from the brink, and others who have joined in a little later than the start.
