Let us not forget as King Mahz built up our newfound haven from the ground up. Ultra Jesus style carpenter. Puts the Great Wall of China builders to shame.

Long Live Sacred Gildeland!
This is a really tough, sensitive topic. I mean, everyone's mind works and thinks differently. It doesn't mean any one mind thinks more clearly than the other, or that anyone is clearly 100% correct on the matter. Some people require facts, others require faith, and some people don't even know what to think on the matter due to how heavily debated it is. I mean, I don't know. Every religion has a good and bad about them. And in their very basics, a lot of it simply has to do with bettering yourself.

Like, take away the gods, the faith, the tenants and whatnot. It simply turns into a self-help/guidance text.

Eh, just dropped my two cents into the thread. Do with it as you wish.
Nice explanations, I'll admit I never really saw Matrix that way before. Your definitely more learned when it comes to that side of things.

I've always been meaning to read the Fight Club book, as the movie was pretty good but I hear great things about the author and the book in general.
Very few movies have changed the way I view life, or otherwise have given me a new insight on the world. And i'll admit, my literary collection isn't much to look at. But i'd like to know any books, shows, movies, documentaries, plays, songs, just about anything like that that has given you a new outlook on life, a different view of the world, changed the way you saw a certain concept, things of that nature.

I just saw Once Were Warriors not even five minutes ago, one of very few movies that made me overthink a lot of aspects in life.

So go on, share up. Might give the rest of us something interesting to read or watch or listen to.
Punch yourself in the gut a bunch of times. Iunno force the shit out. Laxative yourself.
Hm. I'm not interested in very many roleplays right now, and the ones I am interested in are full. The two i'm in are pretty inactive cause a lot of people are caught up in their jobs. Someone should make a survival-type roleplay with dinosaurs, I wouldn't really care which setting. It just sounds like a nice idea.
And than you got thermal vision and what not.

Flamethrowers would be good and bad in a situation like that, as well.
Is sad because every time he checks this OOC the roleplay is full.

Proceeds to play world's smallest violin.
Yeah, on second thought, velociraptors would be a lot easier to deal with.

In a dense forest though, with several packs of deinonychus around, they might have the upper hand.
First thing that came to mind? Horror-survival setting, primarily with velociraptors and other hunters to worry about. Sure there'd be a mixup of other dinosaurs, but velociraptors terrify me as much as they are incredibly awesome.

I'd not like to be trapped in any location/setting/area with arguably what is earth's history's greatest pack hunter. I would not feel safe with anyone or anything. You got a grenade launcher, flamethrower, automatic machine gun, ten-fifteen trained US Marines, a squad of French Foreign Legion guys, a fucking tank? Their pack(s) probably already took that into consideration. Show me enough velociraptors and were all screwed man.

Fuck. Don't even get me started on deinonychus or achillobators.

Hell, forget everything i've said. Dromaeosaurids in general are terrifying.

Edit: On second thought, i'm pretty sure velociraptors were more solitary hunters than pack hunters. I believe the deinonychus was a pack hunter, which is all the more terrifying. Hahah, velociraptors would be easier to deal with. The bigger dromaeosaurids, not so much.
