Current I love those times when you've got a few really good, high-potential stories in the making and all you wanna do is write. It's like all my stars have aligned.

I also feel like the idea that there is now a hypothesised generational divide between people who used to 'RP' on IM and people who write good content on forums is pathetic. Why start this crap?

You could also have long-form stories over text, however complaining about long-form, detailed posts (as this began as), seems both ludicrous and worthy of IM.

Sometime it's less about writing some shitty slice-of-life RP in IM, and more about creating a coherent and valued story among like-minded people. Something you'd need an actual platform for.

I always forget how quiet it is here in the British mornings. Timezones are not our friend.

It's sounding like some people are real stuck on what to do. I was considering writing another post, but I don't think enough's happened for me to throw out a decent sized reply. I also don't want to hijack all the projects that I'm going to be involved in, I'd like to give everyone a chance to evolve the story. Like I don't plan on deciding on whether the grid is functional or not. I aim on giving that power to everyone who is involved when we get down there. So, y'know, go ape with that. And if you aren't coming down with us, think of something that would actually happen. Maybe a small scale riot, maybe someone trying to push for a democratic vote for a leader, some assault thrown in there. I dunno, go wild, try and mess things up, see how the consequences will affect everyone in the long-term.
Alright then, @WilsonTurner, if you so wish.
Lets all put bets on what cc @WilsonTurner ends up at. I'm going to say somewhere near 20,000.
@The Scotsman Did I read the medic part was still open? With Cordelia having a history of human anatomy and physiology she could be quite helpful as a field medic. ^,..,^ bloooooddd.. Bahaha.

@WilsonTurner Picketh up my puppeh while you are out and about! ^^

Tis indeed! Talk to @ViolentViolet, she's currently our only doctor.

On that point you said to @WilsonTurner though, that could be done. We find his pups (somehow, details haven't been figured out yet) and there's another dog with them. 'Meh, fuck it', and we bring back all three. Ta-da, CC and her pup are reunited.

Also, we now have two CC's hahah.
How many exams you got? And how far apart are they?

3, final one is on the 18th of this month.
Oh wow, this sounds awesome. I'm just about to hit my first exam tomorrow however, so I don't know how well I'll be involved.
<Snipped quote by The Scotsman>

Everyone that has lived has died. The very action of living is in constant risk of death. :DD

Can't be too risky, still being inside the school.

Ah, thought you meant when we were going outside.
In my post, Ro was also going to have a steel mop with its cloth removed. You know, the old sturdy ones that are reinforced with steel bolts'n'stuff. May or may not have gotten that idea from the Dead Winter comic. But it does have a practical use- you can shove stuff away with the flat bottom, whack something with the side like an axe/hammer, and it's plenty light enough to carry around with ease.

Ro would also not be with them- rather, he'd be the one going off on his own to grab stuff from all over to fill his backpack with. You know, sensible logical stuff. Then he'd probably just show up next to someone (Probably Barnes or something) and point out something they should know. Like "Preemptive action against an intelligent enemy could be the difference between life and death" or "Teenagers are unstable and moody, like me. Morale is an important part of this- if everyone's happy and determined, everyone will work hard. If everyone is scared and angry, everyone will not be at their best." You know, a bit of a smartass with practical advice, with good intentions. Somewhat.

That's all fine, but run the risk of death. No-one can watch out for you if you're gallivanting.
Ro would be up for field work rather than more theorizing and stuff. He don't care about school- school is all about teaching the theory behind this or that. Actually doing something would be more appealing for him, rather than sitting in a room and brainstorming, with enough brainpower floating about to charge a battery.

So yeah, he'd be in for going and scouting a bit- check to see if there are any adults, police, military, get some tools or weapons, grab his pups (aww de leetle pup-peh)

Alright. So I'm going to assume he's coming down to the grid with us then. The doctor position is still available. Probably going to bring Ro along when we find our bus too.
@The ScotsmanSorry about going rogue! Gonna try to bring us back 'round in a few posts.

No, no, it's not an issue. I mean, we gotta branch out and stuff, let writers explore and do their own thing. It's the opposite of an issue. Do what you guys want.
