To give everyone an update, yes I have not died, yes I am still here. Me and @Graviloquence are working on a post, but her hectic schedule and my hectic schedule are conflicting, so progress is slower than a glacier. How is everyone doing anyway?

I also feel like the idea that there is now a hypothesised generational divide between people who used to 'RP' on IM and people who write good content on forums is pathetic. Why start this crap?

You could also have long-form stories over text, however complaining about long-form, detailed posts (as this began as), seems both ludicrous and worthy of IM.

Sometime it's less about writing some shitty slice-of-life RP in IM, and more about creating a coherent and valued story among like-minded people. Something you'd need an actual platform for.

If you can continue writing as much and as well with your new character as you currently are with Lori, and can involve them as much and as thoroughly as you're doing with Lori, then continue with the character. Having 4 characters is not in any way a drawback though, and if we stay as 4 characters then that may work out better.

Today's been a bit weird with a bunch of errands I've had to complete and I may have to hop off early for what is sure to be an awkward family night out. I may be on and off erratically depending on whether or not I get left to myself this afternoon, haha.
Sorry, I went out in the town that night, was working last night, and today is the first opportunity I had to get online and actually reply instead of quickly browsing. I should be free tonight, and most of the day tomorrow.
Good to here, @Prizrak! It not a requirement, I just thought we all might enjoy it were there more options, but seeing as these last few posts have went after mixing in other writers, it may be a good thing that we're going to be running smaller than anticipated.
@The Scotsman I'm probably going to wait for Jim to post before I post as Lori. But if anyone wants to involve Lori in anyway let me know I would be more than happy to do a collab post. I just don't feel like she warrants another major post until everyone else has their fill.
@Graviloquence and I are gonna do a collab post soon, and anyone who may be a bit busy right now, we'll get you caught up to the group in no time and no issue, but I don't want to stall us for too long.
@The Scotsman Oh God I didn't even realize that. Whoops. And honestly I need to get a life but I guess this is what happens when I start trying to write professionally and can't separate novels from RPing. Why do I do this to myself.
I tried to write a novel but... nah... Loved Rebecca's post though! Can't wait to see how she gets on with the group.
