Current Everything is going hellish again. If I ever make it back to normal, I'll be back to fun and games again. But I clearly need another break for now.

Bio

I am the last...

Even when this place was young and the race of man were not yet dreamt of Valusia was thriving.

Your ancestors died to steal it from us.

And many of my clan perished in the theft.

But not I...

Forever I slither.

Out of untold ages I arrive.

A serpent pretending to be a human pretending to be a serpent.

How avant-garde, no?

Yet who could even fathom what we are?

What we were?

Your ancestors built their first city-states in emulation of our grand metropoli.

Your entire legacy was stolen from our elders.

Your highest philosophies, deepest cultural heritage, most advanced sciences...

They are but sparks, scarcely emulating the glorious solar glow of divine methods practiced by reptilian predecessors.

Dude, my snake is liable to levitate above all that hate.

All he does is Snek-Fu, spread love, and meditate.
Thank you!!

Greetings one and all!

Welcome to my latest interest check.

As the title suggests, I have a serpentfolk character who I would like to play. He is a scaled from head to tail end naga-type, and is a monk from a shaolin style monastery. Pic below.

1. The Emperor's youngest daughter is literally a spoiled princess. He has called in monks from across the Empire to teach the girl discipline. Two famous abbots have been disgraced by failure. Will Verai be able to do any better than these famous martial arts masters?

2. A foreigner in the western lands, Verai has come in search of an artifact of great power that was stolen from his monastery. He has followed the trail of the thief to a sprawling, cosmopolitan city. Seeking information, he has befriended a young homeless girl who knows the streets and the local criminal underworld very well. But can she help him retrieve the artifact before it falls into the hands of a vengeful, power hungry sorcerer?

3. Betrayed by a false ally, Verai was pushed into an interdimensional portal and has ended up in (insert fandom or oc world here). Your character, a native of this world with problems her own (like dire world-threatening problems), might just know of a way to open up a portal to send Verai back to his own universe, in exchange for his help while he is here, of course!

4. A plague of madness has swept across the Empire. In the western provinces ghosts return to life and attack mortals. In the eastern provinces, elemental demons ravage the land. Unwilling to let this go on, the Emperor has called upon monks, sorcerers, and scholars from across the Empire to meet at the Palace and devise a strategy to save the Empire from this apocalypse. Verai was sent to represent his monastery, while the rest stayed back to defend the townspeople from hungry ghosts. At the meeting he encountered many brilliant philosophers, sages, alchemists, and students of spiritual happenings from all walks of life. And one cunning sorceress who believes that the Emperor himself may be responsible and about to sacrifice in every single guest attendance to an ancient devil king.

5. Sent on a pilgrimage to the Seven Great Shrines as a part of his training, Verai encounters a young woman who is making the same pilgrimage because she wants to attain the blessings of the shrines. Each shrine is said to grant wisdom, magic and healing to those who perform the rites of devotion and meditate before them. Doing this at all seven is said to completely release one from past karma. The pair decide to travel together and seem to be hitting it off quite well. As they grow close one evening still on the way to the first shrine, it seems that romance is in the stars for these to. Unfortunately, before anything more intimate can occur, they are attacked by assassins. It seems that this woman was an assassin herself, and the only way for her to leave her former clan is to make the pilgrimage without using any violence along the way. Verai is understandbly upset to learn of her deception. He feels used and betrayed. But the terrified look on her face when he threatens to leave her company is very persuasive. He begrudgingly agrees to continue with the single stipulation that if he learns of any more deception on her part he will personally gift wrap her, and deliver her back into their hands.
