Listening to the pathetic yaps from the vulpix simply made Zell stretch a much wider, much more smug grin, there was no way that little fool was smart, this as straight up absolute mindless stupidity spewing from the kids mouth like vomit, and every time he yipped, it slowly angered him, though he wasn't going to resort to hitting a weakling, not unless he attacked first and instead focused his attention on the people around his presence.

Knowing he definately turned a few heads, Zell tilted his head up and addressed the large Pangoro in a sly, dark tone, while kicking off the doors handle to prop himself on the counter, buffing his chest outward to display his glistening feathers much more prominently. He liked how the big guy was acting, so tough, head on his shoulders, not giving into his whims so easily or becoming scared, it was nice to find someon who wasnt a total wimp.

"You're really not good at this whole negotation thing, are you...? I happen to like a lot of sugar in my diet... So you're no exactly... Helping yourself..."

Zell lapped at his beak, continuing to stare with a heavy glare of intimidation, until he one of his eyes spotted gale like a spotlight, those sharp eyes of his pircing throuh her own with a single glance, before looking away and back at her old man.

"Heh but by all meals, prove to me your "culinary chops" are better than yourself, and i'll concider that as your apology for scaring this dumb shit of a vulpix... However if not... Well... I wont spoil~"

Brandish the Piplup

Brandished bowed apologetically, giving devin a wide happy smile, he knew knocking on the door was rather abrupt but he couldnt stave off the notion that perhaps the pokemon wasnt feeling the best, or if he was feeling okay, wanted to get him feeling like a member of the town and not some stranger, a new friend would definately make his day! Atleast that's what Brandish thought!

"Im sorry I knocked the door so suddenly! I noticed you all coming in, and i assumed you were all not from here! Maybe from another town? My names Brandish! Im a .. Well i hope to become a hero! And i wanted to say hi and greet you all! Its nice to meet you Devin and your friends!"

The kind piplup took his clawed little hand usin a flipper and hook it, giggling cutely at the pokemon, before pulling his flippers back, hoping he made a good first impression.

"Even though we may not know eachother, i'd like to be your friend!"

A scornful expression plastered itself on Zells mug as he silently watched the scenes escalating from Takeo's restaurant from the opposite buildings roof, smugly raising his head, he surveyed the scenes of every single pokemon walking into and out of their little parlor of fun, even noticing the doc and his little lizard friend sliding off into the night, but that didn't interest him. No, what he needed right now was to let out some steam, or a meal, and usually that was a two in one bargain for the arrogant delinquent, however there was something else he had to stop before he could have any fun... who knows, perhaps intervening would get him what he wanted most out of the night.

Expanding his wings outward, the avian swooped down and perched himself on the handle of the door, having perfected his landing and tensing the handle, it slowly slid open completely, silently, and without a single shed movement, the birds eyes stared directly into the large pokemon's own, as he was busy looking at the tiny vulpix on the ground, hoping to get his attention from having entered, Zell staring intimidatingly at Takeo, as a tense atmosphere quickly began to boil.


"I'm lookin' for a meal, geezer... And I don't know about you, but I'd advise you not pick on the weak little runt there... And swiftly back off... otherwise we're going to have a serious problem on our hands... Cuz' ya' see... I can order from the menu... or I can just have whatever I set my eyes on... And you really wouldn't want that, grandpa..." Zell finished with a smug self satisfied yet ominously dark smirk, hoping the large Pangoro got the message to back off the Vulpix, or he was going to be missing more than a few pints of blood tonight.

Meanwhile however, a more enlightening scenario was taking place. Hopping off down the road was the young Piplup himself, after training with his mother, the young yet optimistic little knight hurried along, each patter of his flippers echoing with a very pleasant and loving beat, happy to walk around Melburn free from the vigorous training he was put under, he was hoping to spend just a little time to himself, or spend time meeting new people! People passing through town, or just residence he hadn't talked to in ages! The thought of making them happy caused the Piplup to blush, it was such a wonderful idea!

That's when he noticed the Medburn Exploration Guild building! Perfect, people are always flocking there to sign up, maybe he'll meet a few people there! And that's exactly what Brandish did, happily walking into the building, he noticed a few smaller pokemon like himself were hurrying off, possibly having reserved a room to stay. Not wanting to see them go just yet, the piplup was persistent to meet them, and after a few pleasant words and some polite conversation later, it wasn't long before he knew exactly which room they had headed to!

Brandish immediately and politely knocked on the door to their room, if they were staying in a room in the exploration guild, they weren't probably from around here, so a friendly neighbor or even a friend would be great to getting them accustomed to Medburn, the thought to himself!

"Training my ass" Spoke their team leader, making Eminence frown a little sadly at his words. He hoped he didn't mean that in spite, would have been a little bit rude of Daelon to do so. Eminence sighed apologetically, and with haste finished his meal, pushing the bowl to the slide. His eyes met Daelon's.

"I'm sorry we're not immediately beginning training, I never had anything to eat this morning and since someone else was going off to eat, I wouldn't be the type to just let them eat alone... Guess i'm just nice that way! Regardless, training on an empty stomach isn't exactly the best way to begin! So maybe you should loosen up and fill up before you start rumbling midway through practice! I don't carry snacks on me so... I wouldn't be able to give you a pick me up, Dee...!"

However before the heir could speak anymore, he sensed the approach of students unfamiliar to him, most likely another team competing in the festival given their talk about admiring their threads and asking if they were competing in the tournament themselves. The confident yet arrogant reply from Victoria made him smile, though he wasn't about to get ahead of himself, he needed a lot more training before he was going to be ready for anything. Eminence took note of their appearances, smiling affectionately at them.

"We'll try the best we can, as i'm sure you all will! Quite the garments yourselves! Seems like everyone in the tournament would be equally suited to a cosplay competition! Heh, perhaps once peace is brought to the world completely, we can have a Vytal festival that consists of less... aggressive displays of fun! ... Names Eminence. Eminence Manchester... What about yourselves?"

A gentle, and kind soul, a very modest and loving person who acknowledges the fact that talent and strength cannot be nurtured through excessive force or begging, and is not a gift. Raised by his two loving empoleon parents, the piplup took mostly after his mother, and can be described as thoughtful, forgiving, determined but politely modest, never boasting nor antagonizing his own, or anyone elses' skills, as the young water pokemon wishes to display that is is both mature, and realistic when it comes to his own expectations.

This isn't to say he won't sprout confidence for his friends to boost their moral however. Brandish loves making others happy, and seeing their smiles makes every day a joy. Though his protective attitude forces him to always watch the backs of those around him, to protect them from harm.

Brandish always attempts to display a peaceful, modest presence like some form of knight, though being a child, his childlike nature and love for adventure like any child would get can sometimes take over, causing a swift change from polite well mannered knight into a bustling bag of joy depending on the situation, though he swiftly will apologize should he become too boisterous.

In shot, he is a honest, charitable and well mannered young lad, a role model for others around him, though that isn't to say he has his downsides, becoming too clingy to others or down right too persistent and stubborn can get him into a lot of trouble. He also never likes to steal, and gets upset when others do it, wanting people to do the right thing. The very burden of wanting to protect everyone can be a heavy stone ontop a child, and this is no different to Brandish. He'll need all the support he can get to uphold that goal.

History:

Born in Medburn and having grown up there since he was an egg, Brandish has always been surrounded by people he could depend on, his loving parents, many friendly and happy pokemon, it was a life he always wanted to keep. The desire to make sure that every life here in Medburn and beyond could co-exist in harmony and joy with one another, a reality where total peace was possible, and the true end to his life story, that is what he desired, and to do so, he looked up to the one person he knew who had upheld that desire longer than he has, his mother, Aquaberge. A peace keeping modest and loving kind knight who has resided in Medburn as a stong and very capable empoleon, a knight who has protected the town for many years, and done her absolute best to protect it from the dangers of the world around her, having even seen the Stargate open in her time, though she doesn't tell this to the young Brandish.

With such a positive role model, Brandish expressed in great joy that he wished to be like her, and wanted to become a knight himself to protect his family and friends. Touched at his desire to protect, Aquaberge humored his curiosities and while he was being taught knowledge in school, when he came home, his mother put him into training a small bit at a time from a young age, in the hopes that he will one day become strong enough to protect the town and its surrounding world after she is gone. Of course, she never once mentioned death to the child, for fear of what he might think, though she did ponder to herself if Brandish really knew what it would take to become a Knight, or better yet, a hero. She trained him in his physical abilities, taught him how to behave, how to speak around others and how to analyse and learn about the situations and grievances of others, to console and help their hearts feel peace. Slowly but surely, he has been making headway into learning these things.

The town of Medburn are well aware of Brandish and his heroic knightly mother, and most would no doubt find it both rather cute and very noble of the boy to want to pursue such a dangerous yet honorable lifestyle, and are patiently waiting and seeing if the boy can keep himself together and hold his head up high to keep his goal straight, and if he will continue on the path of the hero should he know the more troubling and less loving parts of selflessness, to give up ones own joy and love for others, that death is the natural progression of heroes, and that they are not eternal, always having to pass on the blade to another, and that when it comes down to it, a heroes death will almost always be a painful, grueling one, filled with unending pain and misery.

Of course, the young boy does not know this yet, but when he is older, and is maturing and getting stronger, these things will be taught to him, and it will be up to the boy to determine if this is what he is going to do or not, his own choice will have to be made. For now, he is training, and continuing to better himself, and takes on each new day with a smile and a sprinkle of childish joy. A new day is dawning.

Zell is a total delinquent. He's greedy, he's narcissistic, he's smug, he's arrogant, selfish, spiteful, aggressive, and a sore loser, but surprisingly he is not as evil as you may suspect. While it's true Zell is someone who absolutely hates the law, hates overly nice and loving types, being absolutely is against any sort of weakness, he is not one to display such cruel evil desires as many would given his personality.

Zell for one, is an individual who hates others picking on the weak, and is only sated when he is fighting someone of his skill and speed, hating when others beat down or antagonize children, those weaker than himself, he will flow his energy into a darker, more determined state of mind, having to qualms beating the ever paint huffing christ out of people who think it's "cool" to beat up on those who can't fight back.

His narcissistic and overly saturated opinions on himself are displayed with his every feathered flick, smugly raising his head up to display his arrogant superiority, his smug, wide and overly exposed grins and smirks displaying his unyielding confidence and his loud, egotistical tone of voice, his gift to the world in his own eyes.

He is the very definition of the "tough, delinquent badboy", showing no signs of ending his extreme vigilantism. That isn't to say he's always a nice guy. He'll definitely get violent and throw down should you insult his body, his way of life or anything to do with him at all, having caused quite a sum of property damage through his love of destruction and explosive events, loving to fight out in the streets just so he can crack a vase over some punks face always leaves him satisfied.

He is the Chaotic Neutral type of guy, always looking out for himself and his crew. He wants the world to know he is capable of his own strength, capable of supporting himself and being stronger than the rest of the world. He isn't weak, he would tell himself, to support and reflect his own anxieties. There's more to him that meets the exterior...

Throughout his younger life, Zell wasn't the kindest of children, and to escape the depression of his own annihilation, to feel like he had some form of worth, the staraptor brutally pummeled others around him, as well as got pummeled himself, a brutal bring and receive of slashes, punches and kicks.

With education so hard to come by, though did his best to learn as much as he could, yet is still unable to read very well, he isn't exactly the most intelligent literature wise, though when it comes to smelling out the good ones from the bad, he is quite the expert at both this, and street smarts, along with combat. Fighting was something he was forced to be subjected to at a young age, living in such a terrible and lawless society, and is the only thing is properly knows. Without anyone to love him, to he took it into himself that he was the only individual worth loving, that he was the greatest thing on earth because everything else was terrible, and it was his way of coping with a lot of loneliness and depression through his constant struggles.

His ruthless determination sought him to separate the wheat from the chaff, the good from the bad. His sheer desire, that overwhelming confidence plus his unbridled resolve eventually helped others kneel to his side and fight by him, he acquired his own small gang of avians, along with other pokemon, and under his dictatorial, intimidating nature, his astounding tenacity, and plenty of blood, it wasn't long before all chaos finally came to a close, and the last one left standing, was him and the rest of his crew, all opposition destroyed, peace at last, and he was now a top this pedestal of power among the others around him, his arrogance unending, as everyone looked up to him as a savior, he felt himself finally having a lot of self worth, he knew he was great, this was exactly what was suppose to happen.

Zell has found himself inside Medburn, his first visit, and has been scoping around the area, looking for fresh blood to recruit, people to pummel, things to destroy, what he didn't realize is that he would he roped up in some form of plot that could change the future for better, or for worse...
