Ravenia is incredibly caring for others, whether she knows them or not. It is because of this that she is many times said to be like a mother lion. Mess with her's and she'll rip your eyes out. Ravenia also has a somewhat catty nature, having a quick comment for others who might try a battle of the tongues with her.
:.The Past Was.:
Ravenia is not a natural born of the Promised Land. In fact, she knows not of where she comes from. All Ravenia knows is that her mother had made the journey across the Red Waste many, many years ago when she was still a baby in her mother's womb. They say she came alone, clutching her swollen belly and crying out in labor pains. Her mother had just barely made it within the gates when Ravenia was born into the world, screaming long and hard at her abrupt delivery. The current Mother chuckled and nodded her head, "She will be a strong one." That night, Ravenia's mother passed away in her sleep.

Brought up by one of the Warriors, Ravenia grew to be strong and fearless. He had never had a family, his own wife and daughter having died in child birth. Ravenia first discovered her powers at the age of 9, this was the first time she had phased through the shadows. Not too long after that was she presented with the raven-feathered cloak by her father, it had been saved for her. The cape was the only thing they had saved when Ravenia's late mother had passed away. Having not had powers of his own, he trained his little Raven in the art of hand-to-hand combat; as well as, many different weapons. She became quite skilled with a bow and arrow.

When she was sixteen, Ravenia learned a new trick. She realized that she could actually transform into a raven, herself. There were some magic qualities about her mother's cloak, something that nobody could quite understand. Because of her great capabilties and talents, she quickly became a skilled Blessed One, moving up the ranks in no time to become the new leader. When she was nineteen, the old Mother died in battle among the Dead. There had been a big debate but Ravenia had been appointed to become the new Mother. There were few who doubted her because of her tender age, but time and time again Ravenia proved she was the proper choice.

"Would you like to hear a story children? About the fall of our governments, our civilizations, and finally our Earth?

Well you see, it started over hundreds of years ago when the great men who led the past nations wanted to play 'Who's got the biggest cock?' It started as bluffs, men threatening others with their nuclear warheads. Then the day came when the bluffing stopped. It is said from stories passed down that it didn't take long. It was over in a matter of hours. As soon as one missile was launched, all the others played follow the leader. Everybody wanted to create great pain on others, for they knew that their people would feel it. No man should have had that much power in their hands. Our fate was sealed that day, thanks to a handful of men on a power trip. Reactors exploded, the bombs took out many cities and great populations. A good portion of life was wiped out in almost one day. Radiation levels spiked, choking out life and hopes of new life.

Many, many years had passed after the warheads had been fired. Unfortunately, the Earth was not getting better. The Earth was sick it seemed, rotting away on the inside. Wildlife withered, water evaporated, life itself was slowly slipping away. It was during this time that the first generation of 'Blessed Ones' were born. Humans, with fascinating abilities and powers that none thought were possible. However, it was a single Blessed One that seemed to give hope to others. They called her Mother of Water; you see, her power was the ability to pull water from midair. She was known far and wide and many flocked to her, asking for her help. She always willingly helped others, never questioning.

This was the time that the Paradise Land was created. It was a great fortress built to house people and provide them with the needs of life. It also came in handy as a means of protection when the Dead began to arrive. Men, women, and children alike were beginning to arise from their graves and were on a hunt for the flesh of the living. They were slow, dumb creatures that ran on the most simple of instincts. To feed. The Blessed Ones and human warriors alike fought bravely against every wave of Dead that came their way. Always thriving, fighting to continue on living.

Now, we have a new Mother. A young Mother at that. However, she has stepped boldly into her role. She is the leader of our Paradise Lands and leads our Blessed Ones into battle many times over. She has recruited three sisters with massive wings that we know as the Harpies. They watch atop our walls for oncoming threats. She has found a powerful metal manipulator that is now our Gate-Keeper, they are who opens and closes the large steel gates that bar our Paradise. Mother has brought together a fierce team of Blessed Ones with amazing gifts and has even trained many humans to be just as fierce. Our Blessed Ones and Mother are truly a force to be reckon with. Worry not children, for so long as we have them, there is nothing to worry about."
Yaaay!! Lol.
That makes me feel like my gold stars are worth something.
=3
You deserve a gold star for understanding me! Lol.

Eltaire gets one too!
High five to Pastel Moon! You understand!!

Oooh, I love Fables. That is suuuuch a good comic series.
And I'm not into the rape and incest part, it definitely does make a damn good twist though. I just would prefer my character not to be a part of it. Back characters, though, I could care less about.
I want her to be a monster hunter after the Big Bad Wolf who is like the leader of a werewolf pack who kill people for sport. Something like that, I need a bit of collaborative help on it though.
"By the Gods." Alura mused with a smile as the woman pushed herself to her feet and moved about the place. Alura watched with mild amusement at the scene before her as the healer pushed the desk back and pulled open a trap door. While the woman busied herself with the others Alura turned to look back to the little boy, his face drained and deathly white from the loss of blood. Alura moved to the boy's side, pushing his hair back from his damp sweat covered face. When the healer spoke to him, Alura turned her bright eyes to the woman.

"I found him in the woods, I didn't want to pull the arrow out without the proper bindings to stop the blood flow. Do you have any goldenrod to stop the bleeding once we remove the arrow? I'm afraid I've used up most of my herbs back in a centaur village some days ago and I haven't had time to replenish my stock. The only thing I have is opium leaves." Alura said, removing her cloak quickly and folding it up to create a makeshift pillow for the boy. She laid him back tenderly and reached into her pouch to pull out said opium leaves. Rubbing the leaves between her fingers, Alura smiled down at the little boy.

"Here, open your mouth. This will dull the pain." Alura reassured as the little boy opened his mouth. Rubbing the natural oils along the inside of his mouth quickly, the elven maiden tucked the leaf beneath his tongue and shut his mouth gently. "Keep that in place. It will make your feel dizzy, but it's okay. Don't be afraid." With another leaf, Alura crushed it up between her fingers once more and began to rub it on the little boys temples.

When Alura finished with that she turned to the arrow and looked at the tip that was protruding through his thigh. "We need to break the arrow head off, this will make it easier to remove the arrow. It will hurt but only for a moment." Alura said as she smiled at the little boy. Slowly he nodded his head and looked over to Robyn, his doe-brown eyes welling up with tears as Alura quickly broke off the arrow's tip, being mindful to not jar it as best as she could. She too turned her eyes to the healer.
Lol. So I totally just pushed into the roleplay. I wanted Alura to interact with somebody, what better way than finding a seemingly dead woman in a pool of blood on the floor!
Alura wasn't too far from Damascus when she came upon the terror. She realized that the many travelers she had come across had actually been survivors. Poor souls leaving their homes and lives behind to find a safe place to live. She looked into the sad tired faces of those who passed her, their eyes downcast and hollow. Her heart went out to the people but for some reason something kept pushing her forward. Alura hadn't quite realized how far out from the town she had been when the centaurs had dropped her off, but she didn't mind the stroll. The string of survivors had dwindled down to nothing now, but she could hear the horrors of the city ahead.

Alura was brought from her thoughts suddenly when she heard the sad calls of a child. Slowing her pace and looking about her, Alura quickly located the source of the cries, they were off the traveled road, somewhere off in the immediate woods. Movingly quickly, Alura happened upon the small boy curled up on his side, crying softly into the ground. Immediately, Alura saw the bow protruding from his thigh. The elven maiden kneeled beside the boy, gently placing her hand upon his shoulder. The boy cried out, begging for her not to hurt him. After a few moments of gentle reassuring, Alura managed to calm the boy enough to let him know that she was here to help.

"Are you an angel?" He whimpered as Alura swept him up into her arms, being mindful of his wound. "No, little one. I am Fae." She assured him with a smile as she quickly carried him towards town. She needed to get him somewhere with the proper equipment to remove the error and bind the arrow. If she were to remove the arrow now, his soft flesh would bleed and from the looks of him, he couldn't afford to lose much more.

It took no time to find the healer's abode, but she immediately saw that it had been ransacked. Obvious signs that orcs had been here from the tracks and damage to the layout about her. Quickly rushing through the splintered door, Alura sucked a deep breath in through her teeth as she saw the body face down on the floor laying in the pool of blood. The little boy whimpered quietly in Alura's arms. "Now, now. Look not, at her. Stay here and allow me to lay her to rest." Alura cooed as she laid the boy on his side, propping his wounded leg up carefully where nothing would bother the arrow. She turned back to the body.

"By the Gods, nobody should die like this." Alura whispered to herself as she kneeled before the dead woman on the floor. She placed a fingertip on the blood and found that it was oddly cold and very watery. Confused, the elven maiden touched the woman's arm, she was still warm. Quickly, Alura pressed her hand against the woman's back, right where her heart was. "This isn't even blood?" Alura questioned, quite confused as she pushed the woman's red hair back, trying to look at her face.
