Ravenia's eyes snapped to the loud explosion of earth not too far from her. She felt the sudden upheaval in the soles of her feet, and it jarred the bones in her legs. She kept her eyes on the area as she spun about the dead, hacking and slashing. Finally, she saw it. The gray being walking closer to her. She felt a wide smile suddenly break across her face as she recognized Tobias's face. He had been the explosion, from what she guessed he had leapt from the wall and his body had adapted and turned his skin and bones into what he was now. Ravenia kicked at a Dead's chest, sending the creature onto its back. She stepped over the top of it, her eyes on Tobias as she squished the Dead's head beneath her boot.

"By the Gods, what on Earth are you doing out here?" She asked, laughing as she got closer to him. She was always so amazed by his transformations, reveling at the things his body could do. For a moment, it was like the world had stopped around her as she got closer to him. She did not see the Dead, but saw the transformation Tobias had gone through. She quickly sheathed one rapier and ran her hand down Tobias's arm. Feeling the consistency of his new skin. Her eyebrows knitted in curiosity as she studied his arm momentarily. She was brought back suddenly by the sudden pull on her cloak, she spun about, kicking the Dead in it's knee. A sickening crack filled the air as the Dead's rotting bones gave way under Ravenia's fierce kick and the creature stumbled forward. That was all Ravenia needed as she plunged her single rapier through the monster's eye and out the back of its head. She placed her foot against its chest and slowly pulled her blade from the dead creatures skull. She flicked her rapier with a quick twitch of her wrist, shaking off the most of the Dead's brain matter.

"Come to join me, have you? I really feel like this is the second time you've come out of the Lands for me. You act as if you can't bear to have me out of your sights." Ravenia said with a playful wink as she unsheathed her twin rapier. She twirled the blades expertly, their silver glinting in the high sun. She turned from him quickly, not allowing the Dead to get close to her. As she turned and ducked and spun about the Dead, lashing out at them with her rapiers her cloak and hair moved about her. Her hair and the feathers of her cloak glinted the purples and blues of a raven's wings. It was such times as this that her father had even begun to call her the Raven. Sometimes, he said that when she moved, her waist-length black hair looked almost like smoke, following her every movement.

"So Tobias, let's put these Dead to rest. I want no more of my people to be harmed, nor for them to worry any longer."
I think teachers should have their own rooms. Lol
Sorry guys. Shit has sucked lately. xD

If it's not one thing it's another last few weeks.
I have a stomach bug and have been forced to live in my bathroom for the last 24 hours. I've just now been able to step away from my toilet safely. Lol.
Alura smiled at Rilden. "Well, thank you, I do so greatly appreciate that. However, it is in my blood to be a healer. I am born from the Maiden temple that once flourished in the mountains hundreds of years ago. It was close to the Faywynne village. My ancestors escaped and were actually traveling healers for a long time. My grandmother was the one to settle down in my Elven home town. My mother was not much older than Miss Robyn when she bore me, she passed away in childbirth. So in turn my grandmother taught me our ancestor's ways. When she too passed my father's Elven family took me in and taught me their ways before I too started my travels, I've been traveling for a long time. In a human's time, I appear to be twenty-one winters, when I'm actually a few hundred years." Alura chuckled with a small smile.

When she had looked to Robyn as an example for her story, she immediately saw the far away look in her friend's eyes. Reaching over, she gently placed a hand on the healer's arm. "My, you look as if something is troubling you." Alura spoke softly, a warm smile returning to her face.
Sabriel let out a small chuckle at Freja's words. It was not completely true, she had spent some time in the harshest weathers. Her father was a traveling business man, his services weren't just strictly reserved to the areas of her home Spain. "My, my love. How about next break, you come home with me. We will travel all about, but we shall do it in luxury. There are perks of having wealth, you get paid even more to do the jobs nobody else wants to do." Sabriel said with another chuckle.

She opened her mouth to speak again but Jynxz appeared. She looked at the man with a small quirk of her brow. She eyed him with dis contempt, though she may be a ruthless killer, Sabriel did not enjoy people who lacked manners. Snorting at his words and waving him off, she turned her attention back to Freja. "My, some people have no tact. Anyways, the man. Yes, that is a part of our lives. Do not think about it as such, there was a reason there was a contract placed against him, always remember that," Sabriel said, patting her friends damp arm.
Ravenia smiled at Tobias's words with a quirk of her eyebrow. They moved quickly, their hands moving around one another's. When Tobias finished, Ravenia smiled as he wiped her brow and tucked her hair behind her ear. She smiled for a brief moment and pressed her cheek against his hand. It was a comfort to her, feeling his hands upon her flesh. It was only a fleeting moment, the warmth of his hand gone. He spoke about the children now, taking in his words, Ravenia nodded her head and looked towards the room.

"You're right. There definitely is more than what meets the eye here. Tobias, I need to head back out to the wall. I would like for you to keep them locked in the room. Once we can atleast thin out the initial Dead at the wall, I'll be back." Ravenia said. She busied herself with getting her attire straightened and knocking the initial dust from the Red Waste off of her. She pinned her cape back about her, throwing part of it over shoulder. Her attention snapped to when she heard Shay speaking. She rushed to the girl's bedside, throwing the curtain back in her rush.

"By the Gods!" Ravenia called out with a wide smile. "I'm so glad you're okay." She smiled down at Shay, cupping the girl's cheek and tenderly kiss her forehead. "I do hate not being able to stay much longer, but I have to return to the Wall. Rest up." She spoke quickly and grinned down at Shay's tired face. She nodded to the others in the room, as she passed Tobias she gently touched his arm, smiling up at him, and made her way quickly towards the door. Ravenia was now sprinting from the building, she headed towards a rack of weapons that had been placed for such issues like this. She pulled her second favorite weapons off, fastening the holsters upon her back and quickly withdrawing the twin rapiers. Their long and thin blades had led many a dead to their quick deaths. Expertly twirling them about in her grip, Ravenia returned them to their holsters and turned towards the wall.

In no time she had scaled the wall and marveled at the destruction that Marcus and Jacob had already wrought upon the Dead. She moved farther down the wall and leapt from it. It was a good drop, something that jarred her bones and would make her sore, but she softened the blow by tucking her body and rolling into the impact. She was on her feet in a moment, running around to the back of the Dead, her rapiers drawn. It was a foolish move for some, but Mother knew what she was doing. The shadows of the Dead were long and spilling out towards the Red Waste. If she were to ever become too overwhelmed she could just make a quick getaway back into the Walls by phasing. None too worried, Ravenia began to plummet her blades through the back of the Dead's heads or take off their heads completely. She drew a good crowd of them towards her and picked them off one-by-one.
Sorry Blox, your character is good. They're Accepted.

Sorry I haven't been too active last few days. One of my friends girlfriends broken up with him and He's been forcing me to watch One Tree Hill with him. He's more of a girl than I am. Lol.
Yes she is.

And Marcus doesn't have to mqn the walls.
Make him come in.
Good question, Metronome.
I was actually including this in with the backstories of the Paradise Lands and the breakdown of the surrounding area.

I wanna say that the inside of Paradise Land's is covered in vegetation. There's green and foliage growing all around.

This was poorly planned, I do apologize to everybody but when I first pictured Paradise Lands, I called it New Edens.
It was waaaay different than everybody has kind of made it out to be.

When I first thought about it, I wanted PL/NE to be in the middle of the desert, the Red Waste stretching out all about it.

The first Mother (Mother of Water) had a knack of pulling water out of the air, she also could hear natural bodies of water calling to her. She found a natural underground oasis, untouched by the radiation of the wars. It was there that Paradise Lands first start. From the ground up they created a civilization. Families from all over flocked to the Lands, seeking peace and shelter. A well renowned family in the Lands built the walls up, standing over fifty feet high; they created them out of marble with veins of steel and ore running all through out. They were the ones who raised the gates of heavy steel, they stood almost twenty feet high. This family were known as the Iron-Root's. They were the keepers of the Gates.

The winged protectors manned the walls, fierce some warriors who dove into battle to deter enemies and threats to their walls. They were skilled with bows and were known for descending upon the enemies, flying them high above and dropping them to their deaths. Over the years, their ferocity in battle slowly thinned out their clan, leaving only a few left. They were known as the Light-Feathers.

A family of fierce fire controllers manned the boilers, providing warmth and light to the Paradise Lands. This family was the Blackburns.

The people have built their homes up into the walls, stacking house on top of each other, accessible by high stairs that go nearly to the tops of the walls. Growing down in the middle and all about the Lands is vegetation and crops. An irrigation system of water runs through parts of Paradise Lands. There were bathing areas created underground, separated obviously, to be natural springs, the dirty water filtered out to become part of what feeds the crops. (<Hey, there's gotta be a little grime in this beautiful society)
Ravenia was not the one to be squeamish about blood, but Lord ah'mighty there was a lot of blood. Her bright eyes looked back to Tobias as he spoke to her about keeping the area clean and moving quickly with her hands. She nodded her head and pulled her hand back from the wound, letting him do his thing. "Tell me exactly where you need my hands, sugar." She said as she gave him a playful wink. Not being a time to joke, she quickly cleared her throat and made work of the area around the wounds, wiping the blood up and cleaning up the mess around them. She worked around Tobias, never once deterring his hands or his workings. She even leaned over and swiped a clean rag across his face when she noticed his forearm hadn't been sufficient enough.

"Tobias, what are we going to do with this guy? He's as big as a house and probably hits harder than a truck." She said, her voice low and holding mild concern. The way she chewed her lip, she was obviously lost in thought. "There's more to this. Not to mention the kids too. Tobias, I just want you to know, if this man presents a danger to my city, I will kill him." She said, her eyes locking onto him with a steely gaze. There was no hesitation or doubt in her voice, she knew that as Mother that she would have to make hard decisions. "I won't kill the kids, but I will return the across the Red Waste if the same goes with them."
