Also I may make another instructor as we already have a lot of people. So we have Phoebe in... Iron Squad, I can make another person in say... Bronze Squad (or something, you know what I mean)

I assume my char will not be initially a part of these squads. I also want to ask, will you be placing my char in the start or have me move to the scene?

Is there still a spot left?

I tried one of these almost a while ago. It got so boring and everyone had to interact with the only two female char in the group everyone else were basically ghosts

Left a terrible taste in mouth, but why not try another one.
@Thecrash20@Lmpkio Sounds better. Though I'm slightly curious if the Bio-Blaster "ammo" could be used to eat tiny holes in the hull of a ship, given they can eat through metal. Kind of wondering how it eats through metal given that different metals have stronger or weaker molecular bonds. I would assume it is through chemical reactions to weaken said bonds that the parasites then are able to break by eating.

Given their tiny size it would require a fairly regular stream to eat away at things like metal armor because each would not be able to carry that much caustic chemicals to quickly eat a hole though. I see this working sort of like an acid gun except instead of firing a liquid it fires the parasites as payloads for the chemicals. Obviously softer materials would be quicker and easier to get through. If this is a fair representation of the Bio-Blaster then I am okay with this.

Exactly that was in my mind. Also I made a note on my edit that they die rather quickly after leaving the gun. So no matter what really it needs constant application on the same area or they wont be effective. Even if they could eventually eat through, lets say a ships armor. It would take longer than its worth. I was thinking like 5 seconds till death. I thought of the acid gun idea, but that seemed too aggressive for the type of Char I wanted to make. So instead he shoots feels good sleepy bugs.

I totally understand what you say. The thing is, I generally assume that most people who use power armors use them to make themselves stronger and faster. Then we have people who actually know what other implications it has or could have, so when they start to write it down it will usually sound way better than the rest. For example, I would think that any normal exo suit helmet has built in heat vision, night vision and perhaps even some kind of a ladar or radar that works similar to echo location, but those that rarely use them wouldn't necessarely think so. But in an RP, you mostly go around and only write about something when you see it: of course, save for some of the Advanced RPs where people are gun nuts. I know it sounds like I am an Exo-Suit elitist...but I kinda am sadly.

In any case, my problem with your suit was that it gave you in combat repairs, which are an A++ feature. Now that you clarified up the gun it seems legit (even if the mere thought sends shivers down my spine) and the sword is just like any vibroblade I suppose, thought the same principle with the combat repairs bugs me.

But I beleive in your RP abilities and common sense to not make anything that is OP in practice, so excuse me for being rude about the whole thing. I really didn't want to come across as a hater or anything, just saying the things that came to my mind.

And after all, it's up to the GM what he accepts.

I didn't take it in any way and I welcome the criticism. Even if you are a dirty Exo-suit elitist...
Even tho I usaully am too...

I wasn't asked, but anything that has the name "bio" in it, in this case 2 weapons, will most likely be OP due to the theme of the whole "make anything, cuz evolution or bio sciences".

I have a bias against them to be honest, but a gun that is guaranteed to pierce AND sedate at the same tume seems like a bit too much in my opinion even if it was a technological apparatus. Not to mention it being a primary and not a support. And perhaps a blade that "Distrupts solid matter", whatever that actually means. Or kevlar thoughness armor that regrows and gives the user full sensory details.

Just saying. No offense to anyone or anything.

I do understand why you feel that way, but I thinks its more like you can see it easier for me to abuse it in general. Cause I mean think of it this way. Power armor, exo-suits, Nano suits, and what have you are not real. What do you do to repair it? What is the amount of damage it could actually take number and pound wise? Power supply, when do you need to charge it? Their isn't anything like that cause we can all assume it just makes you stronger than a normal human. Same with mine since its fictional Bio mechanical mumbo jumbo. Well one thing we can all assume, it will die with fire...

Also I only have two weapons. My guy isn't really gunna be the whole fighty kind anyhow. He has no intrest in hunting down these creatures, yet... More like Is going to be the Bigfoot everyone has heard about and may appear from time to time for interaction and I see where it take me from there.

Also, Plasma swords, Power Swords, and High frequency blade all have a means of 'Disrupting Matter' by giving the blade some type of property that helps cut through armor better. The text I used I pulled straight from here wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Powered_weapon
@Thecrash20 Looks good, but the Bio-Blaster (while a very good concept of a weapon in general), may be a bit OP. It's like one-shot is all it needs and the parasites can basically take it over and sedate a creature.

However, I'd like a second opinion on this first before I can say the final verdict. @t2wave what are your thoughts?

Oh that could be my fault for not explaining it properly. I imagined it as it needs a lot of parasites to start doing its thing and their flee sized (so almost microscopic). So the bigger the creature the more of it would take to do really anything. I imagined it also fires kinda like almost a constant blast of them, like a automatic rifle/beam. Let me fix it up a little:

Bio-Blaster

This handgun looking object is a conical lump of flesh, infested by flea like parasites with Red, sharp heads. When the weapon is triggered, a bio-electric jolt hurls a shower of these creatures at the target. They begin to eat away metal, bone, scales, until they
are borrowed in the skin. After the parasites have dug their way in the skin they begin to to release a natural anesthetic that begin relaxing the muscles of the location hit until they can no longer move and then eventual incapacitated. The parasites quickly begin to die after being launched from their hive, and only get to release their poison until they whiter away. Since the creatures are so small it takes masses of them and constant application for the weapon to properly succeeded, also taking account how large the intended target is. The largest of creatures will barley be effected unless the parasites have can placed directly into muscles or organs. While it may sound gruesome, it is a painless process and if not visually noticed or heard the target may not even know they are being attacked until they can no longer move.

@Thecrash20 So long as you don't have Jason Todd in your ear in the RP we're good. I love the Phil Cho Earth 27 artwork too.

Lots of good sheets so far guys. Still waiting to see if a few of yours finish your WIPs.

Nope just a part of his back story. The sample post was also like an explanation of the last event he helped Jason before he moved on to better things.
