Also I may make another instructor as we already have a lot of people. So we have Phoebe in... Iron Squad, I can make another person in say... Bronze Squad (or something, you know what I mean)
I assume my char will not be initially a part of these squads. I also want to ask, will you be placing my char in the start or have me move to the scene?
Description: From Hamel Bjorn's video footage and accounts, Auroria true self is a Plum color with his clothing or perhaps armor is a Dark blue. The clothing is missing pieces revealing its skin tone. It stand upright and looks very similar to Humans, but noticeably different in the details. A Skull white Helmet covers its face and it is currently unknown what its facial features would look like. A sketch has been publicly released, without giving too much out to the Public.
Scientific Name: ??? Has been coined Auroria Sapian
Threat Level: 5
Height: 78 Inches or 198.12 Centimeters
Weight: 200-400 Pounds
Description: Long ago, their was a sentient species that thrived on K2B-894. Still very primitive as nothing truly remains of the species to prove of the existence or of the technological advances of the species. Of course this is just speculation. It was not even certain if the species exists, only reports from scientist and Hunters documenting this species of Alien life. Most of them had differ largely besides a few similarities. All that was truly known is that it walks upright, is bipedal, and It resembles a Human form. Some Hunters had reported seeing the Species interact with the local wildlife, wielding weapons, and even using tools, while others noted they seem to look like nothing more than this planet's form of apes. Their was few video confirmations of the supposed creatures and the ones that did exist are of low quality or do not properly show the creatures interactions other then it moving and quickly dispersing into tree lines. That was all that was known until more recent interactions with this creatures. This creature has been identified as a single entity. A famed Hunter known as, Hamel Bjorn recently captured the Alien. From video footage and from his own account, the Alien was shown to be sentient, it could communicate, and even understand the Hunter. Supposedly it learned to speak our language from just a hour long interaction with the Hunter. The Alien, now known as Auroria (Name similar to the planet) once lived with others of its kind on the planet. A time so long ago Auroria knew of the Third Moon before it had formed the debris belt that surrounds the planet today. After several days, multiple video footage, and a hunting session with the creature. Bjorn parted ways with it. More information is desperately wanted by the Galactic Adventure Hunting Lodge. They are offering large rewards for further investigation with this Alien and even larger sums for it being captured.
Age: Unknown. Possibly several thousand years
Gender: Male
Height 78 Inches
Weight 345 Lbs
Personality: Enyo could be described like a ancient monk. Calm and moving with ease. He prefers isolation, but doesn't necessarily hide himself away. He has pride for his planet and the ones who inhabit it, seeing the nature as important as his own life. To this effect he could be considered kind. Even the few Hunters who had reported distant interaction described him to be 'soft'. Letting loose the smaller known animals from their snares or even delivering the finishing blow to a beast suffering from a wound.
History:
Long ago, a time that Enyo could barley recall, his people settled down on this planet. The purpose for leaving their original planet is lost to him as Enyo was just a child. Their was about three tribes that settled down, but they all fell ill due to a virus that was carried with them as they traveled to Auroria. Enyo assumes this was the same virus that forced them to leave their home in the first place, but has no clear evidence. With only a Handful of his kind left, each of them decided to split off, their location currently unknown to Enyo. He now lives with nature becoming The 'Spirit of Auroria' named by the local hunters, protecting the land from poacher and Hunters who use inhumane methods of hunting. Enyo has become famous with the Galactic Adventure Hunting Lodge, hoping they can find more information about him.
Weapons/Supplies:
Alien Bio-Mechanical Armor The Alien armor and helmet worn by Enyo is not made out of metal, but of bone and flesh. The 'chitin' armor is formed around his race as a natural way to protect their more fragile Plum colored skin. If the armor was to break, it would begin to 'grow' back as long as Enyo is properly nourished. The Helmet is a mix of technology and the Bone like armor that is formed. It Allows him to see in any amount of light and has a sonar ability that allows him to easily detect the locations of things by the vibrations and sounds traveling through the ground or air. The more fully complete the armor the more strength Enyo is given by it. From being able to flip over a large vehicle to dropping as weak as a Human child. Although it is very rare his armor is completely shed and he isn't sure what would happen if it were to.
Bio-Blaster
This handgun looking object is a conical lump of flesh, infested by flea like parasites with Red, sharp heads. When the weapon is triggered, a bio-electric jolt hurls a shower of these creatures at the target. They begin to eat away metal, bone, scales, until they are borrowed in the skin. After the parasites have dug their way in the skin they begin to to release a natural anesthetic that begin relaxing the muscles of the location hit until they can no longer move and then eventual incapacitated. The parasites quickly begin to die after being launched from their hive, and only get to release their poison until they whiter away. Since the creatures are so small it takes masses of them and constant application for the weapon to properly succeeded, also taking account how large the intended target is. The largest of creatures will barley be effected unless the parasites have can placed directly into muscles or organs. While it may sound gruesome, it is a painless process and if not visually noticed or heard the target may not even know they are being attacked until they can no longer move.
Bio-Blade This blade is an ancient Relic from his Home World that was crafted using Bio tech long lost to him and mostly likely his entire species. It was once his Clan's greatest Relic and now wielded by Enyo. The Blade itself is a living organism, which has a small brain situated deep within its hilt and has a rudimentary sentience that allows it to gradually grow in length and repair any damage to itself by stealing the nutrients of the wielder. Similar to a parasite. However, it is completely slaved to the will of its wielder and is incapable of any independent thought, although it can 'communicate' with the wielder to inform of the damage it has inflicted and the current state of the weapon. The weapon is made of the same 'chitin' that forms the armor of Enyo and constantly crackles with a field of energy which disrupts solid matter. The generator is stored within the blade itself and charged by electricity, most commonly by batteries stolen from hunters or lightning.
Misc Enyo has a tail that is usually wrapped around his waist. It is useless for the most part.
Mohang is average looking kid for his age. He is taller teen about 72 Inches with a athletic frame with a skinny face. His dark orange hair is kept shorter on the sides with the front spiked back while his eyes glow a dark green, some would even mistake them for being Hazel.
Personality:
Charismatic. Goofy. Hyper. Creative. Bold
Backstory:
The Bjorn family is quite a wealthy Family that are in the business of collecting and selling Relics and Artifacts from ancient times. Several generations ago, the Family discovered their first Conduit. This discovery was jsut the first of multiple Conduits collected over a century by his Family. Eventually this lead them with having connections with the 'Magic Community', which is the catalyst on how Mohang was sent to the Palladium Academy. The first in his family to properly train and learn about the conduits and more specifically his, which was the first one found so long ago. Mohang was born in a small town in Wisconsin, USA. He lived most of his life with luxarys of his family, going to expensive private schools and always having anything a kid would want. Although his Parents were strict with anything that pertained to his daily life. This of course was on purpose due this his Father preparing him for the day he would need to wield the Conduit and find the powers they wield. For profit or power, it isn't sure to Mohang, but just like his Great Grandfather he too wants to find the power of the conduit and wield the legendary power that he heard endless bedtime stories about from his Grandfather. Less than a year ago, a few calls were made and he quickly received his plane ticket to the Academy.
Other Skills:
Mohang considers himself to be an acrobat. From doing multiple flips off a diving bored or climbing the tallest tree, if it involves doing some kind of tricks off it, Mohang will be there trying to do them. Mohang is also an incredible artist, usually his favorite pass time when he's not jumping off buildings.
Power Set
Name:
Conduit Gloves--Deity: Asura
Abilities:
The Conduit Mohang possess is a pair of soft leather torn gloves. This conduit lets his body being consumed and replaced with the legendary Deity, Asura or at least that is the name given to the Beast. It is said the wielder that Dons the gloves can control the six armed beast. Each hand controlling and casting the Elements: Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Darkness, and Light. That is what is told, but never achieved. The beast is almost a staggering Nine feet tall and has the strength of Ten men. While the user is still in control, the mind of Asura can communicate with them and easily set the user into a rage.
Weaknesses:
While Mohang has the ability to summon the spirit to control, it only has two arms instead of the fabled Six and can only use the Fire and Water Elements. Usually after the transformation, Mohang will be extremely acceptable to entering a stage of rage and after a few minutes he can be so fatigued he will collapse soon after reverting to his true form. The conduit also makes Mohang aggressive for a short period of time. He has noticed that it has gotten worse and worse with each use of the Conduit and with each use this unexplained anger last longer and longer.
I tried one of these almost a while ago. It got so boring and everyone had to interact with the only two female char in the group everyone else were basically ghosts
Left a terrible taste in mouth, but why not try another one.
@Thecrash20@Lmpkio Sounds better. Though I'm slightly curious if the Bio-Blaster "ammo" could be used to eat tiny holes in the hull of a ship, given they can eat through metal. Kind of wondering how it eats through metal given that different metals have stronger or weaker molecular bonds. I would assume it is through chemical reactions to weaken said bonds that the parasites then are able to break by eating.
Given their tiny size it would require a fairly regular stream to eat away at things like metal armor because each would not be able to carry that much caustic chemicals to quickly eat a hole though. I see this working sort of like an acid gun except instead of firing a liquid it fires the parasites as payloads for the chemicals. Obviously softer materials would be quicker and easier to get through. If this is a fair representation of the Bio-Blaster then I am okay with this.
Exactly that was in my mind. Also I made a note on my edit that they die rather quickly after leaving the gun. So no matter what really it needs constant application on the same area or they wont be effective. Even if they could eventually eat through, lets say a ships armor. It would take longer than its worth. I was thinking like 5 seconds till death. I thought of the acid gun idea, but that seemed too aggressive for the type of Char I wanted to make. So instead he shoots feels good sleepy bugs.
I totally understand what you say. The thing is, I generally assume that most people who use power armors use them to make themselves stronger and faster. Then we have people who actually know what other implications it has or could have, so when they start to write it down it will usually sound way better than the rest. For example, I would think that any normal exo suit helmet has built in heat vision, night vision and perhaps even some kind of a ladar or radar that works similar to echo location, but those that rarely use them wouldn't necessarely think so. But in an RP, you mostly go around and only write about something when you see it: of course, save for some of the Advanced RPs where people are gun nuts. I know it sounds like I am an Exo-Suit elitist...but I kinda am sadly.
In any case, my problem with your suit was that it gave you in combat repairs, which are an A++ feature. Now that you clarified up the gun it seems legit (even if the mere thought sends shivers down my spine) and the sword is just like any vibroblade I suppose, thought the same principle with the combat repairs bugs me.
But I beleive in your RP abilities and common sense to not make anything that is OP in practice, so excuse me for being rude about the whole thing. I really didn't want to come across as a hater or anything, just saying the things that came to my mind.
And after all, it's up to the GM what he accepts.
I didn't take it in any way and I welcome the criticism. Even if you are a dirty Exo-suit elitist... Even tho I usaully am too...
I wasn't asked, but anything that has the name "bio" in it, in this case 2 weapons, will most likely be OP due to the theme of the whole "make anything, cuz evolution or bio sciences".
I have a bias against them to be honest, but a gun that is guaranteed to pierce AND sedate at the same tume seems like a bit too much in my opinion even if it was a technological apparatus. Not to mention it being a primary and not a support. And perhaps a blade that "Distrupts solid matter", whatever that actually means. Or kevlar thoughness armor that regrows and gives the user full sensory details.
Just saying. No offense to anyone or anything.
I do understand why you feel that way, but I thinks its more like you can see it easier for me to abuse it in general. Cause I mean think of it this way. Power armor, exo-suits, Nano suits, and what have you are not real. What do you do to repair it? What is the amount of damage it could actually take number and pound wise? Power supply, when do you need to charge it? Their isn't anything like that cause we can all assume it just makes you stronger than a normal human. Same with mine since its fictional Bio mechanical mumbo jumbo. Well one thing we can all assume, it will die with fire...
Also I only have two weapons. My guy isn't really gunna be the whole fighty kind anyhow. He has no intrest in hunting down these creatures, yet... More like Is going to be the Bigfoot everyone has heard about and may appear from time to time for interaction and I see where it take me from there.
Also, Plasma swords, Power Swords, and High frequency blade all have a means of 'Disrupting Matter' by giving the blade some type of property that helps cut through armor better. The text I used I pulled straight from here wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Powered_weapon
@Thecrash20 Looks good, but the Bio-Blaster (while a very good concept of a weapon in general), may be a bit OP. It's like one-shot is all it needs and the parasites can basically take it over and sedate a creature.
However, I'd like a second opinion on this first before I can say the final verdict. @t2wave what are your thoughts?
Oh that could be my fault for not explaining it properly. I imagined it as it needs a lot of parasites to start doing its thing and their flee sized (so almost microscopic). So the bigger the creature the more of it would take to do really anything. I imagined it also fires kinda like almost a constant blast of them, like a automatic rifle/beam. Let me fix it up a little:

@Thecrash20 So long as you don't have Jason Todd in your ear in the RP we're good. I love the Phil Cho Earth 27 artwork too.
Lots of good sheets so far guys. Still waiting to see if a few of yours finish your WIPs.

Nope just a part of his back story. The sample post was also like an explanation of the last event he helped Jason before he moved on to better things.
