Indeed, we're open.

I'm sorry to tell you this but this is the place where you're going to die. Trapped, scared, horrified of what was going to happen and then...freedom? All you see when you wake up is a vast field with a forest surrounding you. Around you there are others waking up too, wondering what is going on. Was this a scary joke? What could be happening? Before long you realize that all you're here is for the sport of being hunted.

How the RP works:
All the humans start out in the center of the hunting area. They are basically surrounded by an invisible dome which is impossible to pass through. The radius of the dome is 5 miles and is mostly covered by forest. An abandon town is also inside the dome area but has been picked clean by the event coordinators.

There are two secret entrances and exits for supernatural to come and go in. It is remotely opened by workers so there is no way for a human to exit unless a supernatural is keeping them as a pet or servant.

Where do these places go? Inside is an underground luxury complex filled with hotel rooms for the supernatural guest's pleasure. Here they can take breaks, grab a bite to eat, or spend time with their newly enslaved human. All is run by the generous vampire known as the Manager, who is always watching to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Please note: All humans start with no equipment whatsoever.

Specific supernatural info:

Explanation of Rand's Notes:
Rand's notes were really made one day to go more in-depth with explaining the supernaturals but add more personality to it in the process. If you don't know yet, Rand is my main hunter character who has created a large dictionary and personal log of almost every supernatural creature that's been discovered.

Doc. You leave again, and I may have to find you and punch you in the balls.

That'd be rude, but I'm coming up with a new story and a more condensed setting. I'll either have it up today or tomorrow.
Well I'm finally back on the site so I think I'll be attempting another go at another supernatural RP.

Noah Kendrick

Age: 45
Skill: Cooking
Weapon: Colt revolver and crowbar.
Personality: Hard and untrusting. Is determined on survival for himself and his son and will make necessary sacrifices.
Brief Bio: Noah lived a good but rough life with his wife and four kids. He was the owner of a local restaurant in the city he lived. When the outbreak hit, Noah was fishing with his son and they couldn't ever find the rest of their family.

Anthony Kendrick

Age: 14
Skill: Climbing
Weapon: Hunting knife.
Personality: Nervous around people he doesn't know and facing walkers alone but is growing with confidence. Keeps a steady attitude and tries to not make any public shows.
Brief Bio: Anthony lived a regular life in school with little social interaction. While his grades were up and the teachers somewhat liked him, he wasn't too good at making friends. His parents and siblings always treated him above though and he tried to get the most out of it. Then, after a fishing trip with his dad, Anthony's world changed for the worse.

Summary for both: Anthony and Noah stayed with a group for a good long time during the apocalypse but a simple mistake ended up with the group dead except for the two. After running low on supplies Anthony and Noah went inside New Orleans hoping to find anything useful. After drawing a large amount of walkers Anthony and Noah ended up inside of Haywood after being saved by Abram and Daniel. A week later Haywood was attacked but the two were outside of Haywood at the time scavenging for the town and by chance missed it.

For me being busy during the attack that excuse is the only one I can think of for now. I may just void that they went to Haywood entirely since they had limited interaction anyway.

I thought oh waiter was pretty interesting of a series

I loved making that series but I know it died out because it became a series and only people who were already in it stayed in the continuation of it. I may basically recreate it with a different name to see if that'll attract people.

Also, if you don't want to just rehash oh waiter completely, there is always Fae/Changelings. Like the twist your mind into mush and make humans your pets kind of Fae. I been looking for an RP like that a while, and it could pretty easily incorporate other supernatural into it.

Edit, for those who don't know what I am saying by changelings, in this case, I mean a person physically morphed by Fae magic, normally indefinitely.

I think the Fae I'm thinking of are a lot different than yours. I'm thinking of the ones in the Iron Fae series which is basically Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream developed into a fantasy world.

Really, the reason that Oh waiter was much more successful at starting off than this was one:We was in an enclosed space and our characters were forced to interactWe all didn't want to kill each other immediately, that came latter on.

That's the formula that works. Unfortunately open world RPs tend to die quickly. Had to try it though.

No, it's fine. You can just say your characters were hiding/doing something to keep them preoccupied while everything was going down.

I'll read over what happened to see if I can put anything but I know I won't be able to post today.
So...I just missed that whole event due to IRL issues, and from what I can tell it's over. So, I suppose I can't really come back into this?
Well sorry about that, I killed my own RP. Honestly, I saw it dying already but me having to be away for all this time really ended it. Sorry everyone. Hardly any of my RPs kick-off. I might make a reboot or other supernatural RP since I can never find a good one.
I've been really busy today but I'll try to post tomorrow.
