Not OK...Not OK

Quiet fool.
Nixon looked over at the lycan and didn’t hear Edward appear behind him. He flinched as the needle suddenly went in him and then fell to the ground, dazed. After a few seconds, Nixon stood back up, shaking his head and noticing the message. Sighing, Nixon looked away and back up at the counter. He hated that medicine, it always made him woozy. He usually resisted but his girlfriend was good. Where was she anyway? Was she still on a trip? Wasn’t usually this long.

Nixon forgot about her and looked back up at the timer. So close. It was ticking down to only minutes now. He gave a wolfish grin to the lycan. “Oh this is going to be fun!”
The Manager looked over at Edward as he suddenly returned from his job. He shook his head and continued typing on his computer. “You know Edward, I have always said I’m an honest business man, and I truly am. While some disagree with my motives I will always say the truth. I wouldn’t disbelieve my word if I were you. Nixon is truly self-destructing from his insanity, and whether that’s my fault or if my influencing is helping him, I’m unsure yet. Of course, I figure there’s several elements in the medicine to assist Sarah with her project but I don’t bother with that detail until it becomes a problem. The medicine does the part I want, so why should I lie to you about that?” The Manager spoke, looking at Edward when he was finished.

Looking at his cameras again the Manager noticed Ishiya roaming the halls, probably lost. “Edward, can you go get Ishiya? I think she’s lost again. See what she needs,” he ordered to the wizard.
Rand did not see the hug from Penny coming, and hoped others didn’t see his stunned expression. Give me a location to investigate, a newspaper for tracking down a vamp, but seriously, give the girl issues to someone else. Maybe Anthony, he thought, fixing his face as Penny pulled back. Were the other hunters even used to this? He wasn’t around any others with higher field experience to ask. He gave a sincere nod to Penny as he looked at her, then was distracted as others started speaking their names.

Sai’tioula was an interesting name, and the random yelling was concerning, yet it seemed like Connor was already on it. Phil was...he couldn’t place it. Detached? Sure, he supposed that worked. Rand looked back at the first girl who hadn’t spoken yet. “I’ll get your name on the way, but I’ll want it eventually. We gotta trust each other alright?”

Rand looked around at everyone else. He stopped at Connor and made an indicative move to him. Connor gave a brief nod and stepped forward. “And I’m Connor,” were the simple words his pupil gave. Rand shook his head but he suddenly noticed the sun starting to dip. Wonderful.

“Everyone, I would get the rest of your names but it’s time to leave. That sun is coming down and I’d rather not still be here. I’d recommend for us all to stay together, or else whoever put us here may take advantage,” Rand spoke to the group. When he finished speaking, he looked over at Penny. He figured it would be good to reassure her. He still felt strange about the hug, but whatever kept her not panicked was good. “Just stay close and I’ll get you out of here alright?”
Nixon continued watching the countdown timer. 30 seconds. So close. He was twitching now and starting to vibrate. 20 seconds. He grinned over at the female lycan next to him. “I’d challenge you to see initial count but...I just feel like nabbing one today.” Yes, someone for his new tools. He’d need to watch them first though.

The door unlocked and slid down, but Nixon didn’t even bother going through it. He blinked himself up to the forest, and the hunt began.

So, where's that post Doc?

I'm almost done, been delayed a lot.
OK finally back home time to write a post!
Took ya long enough Ice, accepted.
Alright just to keep everyone updated I'll be starting the hunt in the post after the next one I make.
Hey sorry that I took awhile but I think I fixed the issues in my character's bio now.
The Manager considered Edward's offer for a bit, but then slightly shook his head. "You'll have to convince Sarah on that, he's become her personal project and I'd rather not interfere." The Manager looked over at his monitor, seeing Nixon on the camera. "I'm sure you remember what Nixon did to damage this establishment before and I'd rather not have it happen again. Now he's become one of the most reliable workers I have. Make sure to give him the injection before anything wrong happens." The Manager could trust Edward on this case, and they'd probably be working together on the new project the Manager had soon.
Rand looked over at girl who had begun yelling for some kind of order. The hunter frowned, true as she was the reminder of what happened to everyone might make others edgy. He was about to speak when suddenly Penny seemed like she was challenging the other girl. Strange, she seemed scared at first, now suddenly was seemingly angry at the other girl. It might've been defensive maneuvers but he wasn't sure. Rand sighed and stepped between the two girls, looking at both of them for the same amount of time.

Rand absolutely hated being the leader in any scenario. He couldn't concentrate on his own problems and instead have to think of others, and for him as an investigative type who was always studying he really disliked that. Yet, it seemed like he needed to do this. Rand turned to the majority of the group, looking at everyone. "Right people, I'm sure you all have know come to the terms of what's happening." Don't panic them, but don't sugar coat it. Why is this so hard? "This isn't a dream. None of us are going to wake up from this. I know as much as the rest of you do." Now what? Rand looked between Penny and the other girl. "Penny suggested us to all introduce ourselves, and I suppose we should in order to trust each other. I'll go first. I'm Rand Johnson. I was a hunter as my lifetime career. In a weird way I'm somehow used to this." Maybe some would understand his inclination that he was a hunter of the supernatural, then have some kind of help with the situation. Rand turned over to the girl who had shouted earlier. "After we introduce ourselves, we'll get out of here alright? Now, you next. I'm fairly sure we earn it."
Connor gave a skeptical look at the girl. Mental problems? Could be an easy lie, but could also be serious. It was always hard to tell and he wasn't experienced in perceiving such lies. All he could do was temporarily accept it but keep an eye on her. Connor gave a nod and was about to say something when he heard Rand begin to speak to the group. Connor turned, looking over at his trainer. He was curious of the strategy that Rand introduced, it seemed good but leaving seemed more important to him.
Nixon smirked as he watched the lycan slightly change into their form, making what almost looked like a werewolf. Nixon looked up at the timer, seeing it halfway done. "The countdown will be done soon enough, don't waste the energy now." Nixon too would probably be bouncing off the walls with her but for some reason he wasn't. Odd, he was usually the hyper one in this situation, but now something felt...wrong. "That's interesting," Nixon mused to himself. "An actual clear thought."
It's all good, you're accepted now!
