Personality/History:

Pre-Death, Jed was an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, the son of a Pharaoh, he built some stuff, the Great Sphinx of Gaza for instance, well he didn't build it, but he commisioned it built, well there wasn't a lot of paying the people who built it....... anyway he had a family and friends, a life, a life as normal and happy as one could have it in those days, and then he died, Jed isn't entirely sure how he died, and what's more he doesn't especially care, and if he ever did, he would just ask his landlord, who might not tell him, probably because he was just too awesome for life or something. Anyway, Post-Undeath, Jed used to be angry and haughty, being raised from the dead via someone messing with your tomb will do that to a guy, I mean seriously, what kind of person disturbs another persons eternal rest, and then feels it's unfair when that person haunts them, I mean seriously? Anyway, after that whole Mummy's curse business was finished, Jed noticed a significant lack of his becoming re-dead, so he made his way back to his tomb, to find that it was in shambles, "Dang it Khaf, why'd you have to go and do that?" Was pretty much all Jed said in good humor, that would be just like his brother. After that Jed went about traveling, meeting other people, mostly undead, some not, some just straight up dead, and eventually, after dealing with his anger at being undead and in this strange world, and learning some important lessons IN this strange world, he eventually rented a room at the apartments. When he can he helps out however he can, and enjoys spending his time with the other residents of the apartment complex, going for walks with Tetka, and has found that he greatly enjoys cooking, as well as he has a tendency to pick up side projects, tracing family lineage, learning to play instruments, learning what an amuse-bouche is, etc. Overall Jed is kind and helpful, and playful, though one gets the impression that deep down remains the soul of the king of the pyramids, fierce, just, and iron-willed

Room Description: Very diverse, a little luxury, the best of everything, with what he could of the things he grabbed from his tomb, some stuff a little less classy, some stuff he is exploring about this new culture, band posters, magazine covers blown up, a mini-fridge filled with snackage and drinks etc. Of course then there is Tetka's room, don't even get me started on how he spoils that dog.

Any other stuff:
-It would appear that being Undead has positive side effects (in addition to the whole, no longer dead thing), a sort of super strength, Jed could easily lift a car overhead if he felt like, as well as a regenerative effect, probably the same stuff that keeps vampire's young, he looks (and smells, thank the gods) just as beautiful now as he did thousands of years ago.
-However having everyone you ever knew or loved being skeletons does its work on the psyche

Derek trailed behind Amber by a narrow margin, "I'm more of a sprinter anyway" he said to consol himself, as he caught his breath at the entrance of the cave, he waved for a moment as Amber introduced herself and Ragz, saying only "Derek, Nice to meetchya" it was then that he noticed the cave beginning to fill with smoke, raising an eyebrow he looked around, noticing the strange glowing eyes in the mist, and then the rest of the beast as the fire illuminated its figure and standing, the grotesque canine-like.....thing, was not only disgusting to look at, (and smell at) but there was something about it, an aura of sorts, that angered Derek, feeling his blood boil, his entire world suddenly became red, a hot rage suddenly consuming him.

Derek could feel himself growing, large and larger until he was the size of the cave itself, his temples beginning to pound as horns began to protrude from them, his face and body contorting into his guardian form, and a large hammer with a spike on the end appearing in his hand as a long steel blade appeared in a sheath at his side, upon finishing the transformation he heard the Monstrous Canine let out a mighty roar, and then the Minotaur replied with a primal warcry that immediatly got the attention of the beast as derek began to charge it, point of the hammer directed at the monstrosity's eye, or that was the plan, until the Beast's gaze fell upon Derek and he fell as still as a statue, unable to move a single part of himself, He growled inwardly, and waited, finally processing what it was that the girl had said just before the Evil creature had let out its challenge.

"It certainly was" Derek replied, returning the smile to the stange girl, noticing that the little doll swivel its head around as the faint light of police cars glowed andreflected down the street. "Good thinking" Derek replied to the girl as he let himself be lead by the hand, through the bushes into a park with this strange girl, making sure to keep his eyes peeled for anything that might cause them to get into trouble, feeling himself let go of, Derek chased after the pair, making sure not to fall behind, she was surprisingly quick for someone who couldn't see out of her own eyes.

Amber thought for a second, "Seith Magic and Visual Linking." Amber said thinking of names for them. "Seith Magic gives me the ability to trap a small soul, in a small doll like object thus giving it life and me control over the object through the soul. And Visual Linking allows me to link to another's eyes to see what they see, as long as they are within 100 feet and have a soul. So the Seith Magic explains Ragz here on my shoulder and Visual Linking allows me to see you right now.." Amber explained smiling slightly as Ragz stood up and climbed onto her head. "What about you, what's your power?" She asked smiling at him.

Derek wasn't entirely sure what to say, on the one hand it made total sense that what the girl had said, it explained everything, the intense, almost scary look that the doll had about it while also explaining the hollow look in Amber's eyes, on the other hand it was totally impossible, of course, he was hardly one to judge, he had tendency to tbreak entire walls by running into them on accident. Regardless of his mind's urge to stop for a few seconds so that the brain could come up with a battle strategy, as usual Derek's mouth began moving of its own accord, "cool" while still looking the girl and puppet up and down "I become a mostly unstoppable force when running sometimes" Derek continued casually, scratching the back of his head as he did, only realizing afterword that his power sounded kind of lame in comparison to the girl's, but he kept his wits about him and after a long moment. "So I take it you had the same crazy dream tonight that I had?" he laughed a little, not really sure what else to say.

"Nice to meet you Amber" Derek looked the girl up and down, noting her dress, as well as her Patchwork bunny, the one that seemed to be staring at him, when it moved Derek just about jumped 3 feet in the air, the freaky little thing had teeth that looked like they had been stolen from a shark, and the glowing eyes finished off this demonic looking plaything, But it was then that Derek noticed Amber's eyes, and the distinctively empty look they had to them, despite their looking right at him, he might almost think she was blind if she wasn't looking DIRECTLY at him, no she was definitely blind, weird.....of course, on occasion he turned into a giant minotaur and smashed things, sooo maybe he wasn't one to judge. "Must be" he replied, still on edge at the intense looke mixed with the large, toothy smile the strange demon-rabbit thing was giving him. "So what's your power?" he asked bluntly, regaining some of his composure.

Derek jolted awake, sitting up quickly as he did......and banged his head against his roomate's bunk......ungghhhhhhh, he rubbed his head slowly, angry at himself for sitting up so quickly, he put it out of his mind as he reached over onto the table and fumbled around for his glasses. After a moment he found them and placed them on the cruxt of his nose, pushing and pulling them into place. Then he swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, he had long since become immune to raucous snoring of his roommate, and scribbled a note as he threw on a jacket and hat over his pajamas, putting a few other things in his pockets, and headed out into the cold night. He wasn't sure where he was going, all he knew is what the dream had told him, find the others, fight the evil, save the world, etc, etc. It had been both vivid and surreal, and beyond that, it had been convincing. So Derek figured that he might as well start at just going, just moving. As he did thoughts raced through his head, a first they were mundane, he hioped that jenny would be at the party this weekend, what the evil might be, what it looks like, why Mother Earth waited twoish weeks after granting him his power to have this conversation with him....

"OOOF!!!!" Derek could hardly believe what had just happened, he had literally just walked into the back of someone, he didnt even have earphones in, and wasn't desperately trying to read something crucial in a book, he had just been so proccupied with himself that he had just literally run into somebody. Of course what he said was "Oh I'm sorry miss, My fault" as he offered a hand to help her up. "Sorry about that, gotta pay better Attention, I'm Der.....ek....." as he held out his hand in greeting, as he had been taught, he noticed that his hand was glowing.....
