General Information
Three things have always characterized Oscar's personality. The first is his attitude, Oscar has always been laid back and relaxed, there is an air about him that seems to put others at ease, and he has always been easy with the smiles and laughter, the first, and sometimes only one, to laugh at certain jokes. This warmth and ease has caused him to sometimes annoy those who would rather have harsh words or react with violence, but most of the time he is just a charismatic, fun loving guy. The second thing that has always characterized Oscar is his morals. Oscar, who has always seen himself as a kind of older brother to the world, especially so to the campers in his cabin, refuses to stand for bullying, and has more than once been injured when he was forced to intervene in a fight between a much larger camper than him, and one under his care. The final thing that has always characterized Oz is his tenacity, his ability to keep fighting, and keep fighting, and to eventually end up on top. Some might call it the ability to pick ones self up after the thousandth knock down, others might call it the stupidity of not knowing when he is outmatched, or beaten. Oscar applies this kind of thinking to almost everything he does, being the son of the Goddess of Victory in battle and peaceful competition will do that to a guy, weather staring at a magic trick for hours to figure out how it works, or getting back up for the umpteenth time after fighting a ridiculous one sided battle, or rolling the dice and hoping to god for a twelve in Monopoly, Oz does not give up.

Talents: Oz is an exceptional Charioteer, he has always enjoyed this specific competition more than others, perhaps it is that with a natural gift for most games, and a presence that calms people and horses alike, it seemed to be one of the things he never actually had to work his butt off to be good at, perhaps it is that one of his mother is Zeus's Charioteer. Oz is also quite the accomplished mixed martial artist, due in large part to his training in the fighting arts since a boy, his father having put a great deal of emphasis on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and Oscar learning to defend himself, he saw the sport as a natural blending of the two.
Jason Isaac Rackham was an Olympic-level athlete, who, after nailing the Olympic team for his home country, was walking back home when he spied the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, he, finally getting up the courage to approach her, asked her to have a drink with him, she, not entirely sure if this mortal was seeing through The Mist, or not, agreed. What ensued after was a love affair so cliche so incredibly filled with chocolates and flowers and bunnies and quirky stories and hot beads of sweat running down perfectly toned bodies that it would be enough to make any self-respecting 8-year-old make a pretend puking sound and run out of the room in total disgust. But the better the story the sadder the ending, and this one has a mystery to the ending as well, one day, out of the blue, Jason awoke, and she wasn't next to him, and when he returned from practice that night, she wasn't there. In fact she wasn't there for Nine and a half months, after which she still wasn't there, but a piece of her was. Jason opened his door one morning to find a burbling baby boy in an old fashioned cradle on the doorstep, with only a note and a laurel wreath inside 'He's yours, Make him a champion, when he gets old enough, tell him, then send him here' there was a piece of paper attached with an address, and that was all it said.
Years later Jason had done just that. A champion kick-boxer, Oscar was walking back from another won match when he, and his father beside him, noticed an unusually large cat approaching them, at first they thought nothing of it, wandering feral cats, even large ones, were not an uncommon sight around these parts, but as it approached it got bigger, until eventually it leapt at the pair, looking like a very large train, it's yellow hide and fur giving its species away, a lion, it pounced on Oscar, pinning him to the ground as his father searched for something to use in his defense, from beneath the monster, Oscar did the only thing he knew to do, he struck his attacker in the face. The Lion, confused as to this new tactic, one not usually taken by his prey, let up enough that Oscar was able to get away from under the very large cat. Redoubling his efforts, Oskar and his father were eventually able to figure out that a tooth, taken from inside the Monster's maw was able to pierce its skin and kill it, but not before it fatally wounded Jason.
Rushing his father to the hospital, Oscar tried his best to do all that he could, but it wasn't enough, the next morning the doctors walked out of the emergency room, like the beginning to some terrible t.v. Show, it wasn't pretty, and Jason hadn't made it. weeks later, after the funeral, Oscar, still 14 at the time, was sent to the place listed in his father's things, never one to keep tidy Books. And that's how Oscar ended up at Camp. A couple weeks later, during an obstacle course, Oscar was finally claimed by Nike, an ethereal laurel wreath appearing over his head as he held his fist up in the air in victory.
On his birthday Oscar is generally given a single present from his mother, one year, a necklace that had an intertwined boxing gloves and palm branch, which he almost never takes off, another year he was given his Caestus, which he regards as his favorite possession.
