(This will contain darker content then most of the role plays I see.

Yes, it does contain a transgender character. Most of the ones I see are written with a certain amount of poor research and unwillingness to accept the reality. They are accepted automatically, and transition with no issues. This will NOT be the case here, I'm afraid. My character will be described during the story personality-wise, and I can provide images if asked for.

This will also focus on an intense rivalry between two schools, fueled by a combination of things, and aspects such as park pasts, abuse, and so on CAN be brought into a character's past.

As for Jack/Jasmine, my character CAN be used in romance, but at the same time, I am fine to just tie them into having a friendship with your character. All I insist upon are the two being from the rival schools, and that they are the one who rescues Jack.)

In this, I will play both Jack/Jasmine, and the person who makes his life hell, Xavier.

Below, I have a possible starter and a writing sample rolled into one. If you have any questions, please ask them.)

It seemed as if the two rival schools felt the need to engage in fights almost every week, and cause as much trouble for one another as was physically possible. If not fights, something would be stolen from one pupil by a member of the other, or vandalism would occur on the grounds of one school, caused by the members of another.

Not all got involved, with some opting to keep themselves out of it when they could, not wanting to be the victims of attacks or the like caused by another member of the rival school. They'd remove their blazers, ties and anything else which would cement them as being from one particular school, or would purchase cheap ties from schools not involved in this rivalry in order to escape punishment.

A pupil of one school, known as Middlewood Academy, 17 year old Jack Carter made his way home, on his own and feeling both nervous and exhausted. He knew he shouldn't be, but he had no real choice in this. After all, nobody wanted to be seen with the "freak" of the class. The person who "didn't know what the fuck they were", as some so elegantly phrased it. The one who wanted to be a girl. And, he did. He hated his body, hated having to be the "typical male". That wasn't who he was, and Jack knew that. He wanted to be Jasmine.

Turning a corner, he cried out as someone grabbed him, pinning him to the wall of the alleyway with a fierce and cold look upon his face as he stood there, two of his friends flanking him, as though he needed back up to perform what he had in mind.

"Well, well. The freak of Middlewood. What a pity, you're on your own like always. Never see you with anyone. Maybe the people that go there aren't that pathetic." From the corner of his eye, Jack saw the male produce a switchblade, holding it to his neck with a swift movement. "Don't worry, I ain't gonna cut your throat. That's too good for a trannie like you. You ain't a girl, you're an it."

His "friends" grabbed a hold of Jack, turning and pushing him against the wall with a thud, Xavier starting to slice away at the hair Jack had spent so long growing, getting rid of it, not caring how much pain and discomfort he brought to the frightened soul. From a gap in the wall, Jack thought he saw someone, screaming for help at the top of his lungs, before his mouth was covered. "Do it again, and I'll kill you!" Xavier growled, hoping the person would choose to ignore it. It wasn't a good neighborhood, after all.
Going to sum it up..

I am a Slice of Life writer, with a primary focus upon characters whom are not often seen in role-plays, from my experience. (Characters whom may be, say.. Blind, or mute, or deaf. They may be trans-gendered or identify as no gender. They could have learning difficulties/disabilities, or be wheelchair bound. So on and so forth, you get the drift.)

I only really write with others capable of providing a 4 line minimum, and my main focus tends to be upon simple friend or family bonds, less so on the romance front. (Though, apparently, only romance exists as far as MOST slice-of-life writers are concerned. So..

But, yes.

Effectively:

Looking for LITERATE writers. Ones whom are happy to not do romantic plots. People happy to write with characters whom may, or may not, fit in the "Perfect Percy" or "Irresistible Ivy" cliché that most people seem to want from roleplays.

Yes, my guys might be prone to tears when upset or frustrated. Yes, they may not be able to walk, or talk, or see. But why shouldn't they be allowed to get a roleplay or two focusing on them?

So, here are a few of my most used characters. Note that any characters under the age of 17 are NOT for romance roleplays.

1.) Lily-Rose Carter, aged 12.

Liam is the shy and quiet sort of chap, much preferring to be in the background and not intervene in things going on around them. This is primarily due to his lack of self-confidence, not helped by the fact he harbours a naturally shy nature, lacking any form of assertiveness at all. This is due to the fact the young child was often shifted from foster home to foster home, never really settling in anywhere for very long. With just one exception.

Only one person ever did attempt to help and support Liam. Her name was Rosie, and at 25 years old, she had discovered she’d never bare any children of her own. The news broke her heart, and she no longer felt like she’d ever have a family. Untill she found Liam walking home from school one night, lost and alone, scared and hungry. She felt the need to help him and took the young child back to the orphanage, where an idea struck her.

Become a foster mom.

At the recommendation of a worker, Liam and Rosie were paired together, and all seemed happy. The woman was as loving and protective of Liam as a birth mother would be, and though she’d spoil him often, she brought him up to be a loving and respectful young man, with a big heart. She even managed to get him out of his shell in public situations, an accomplishment previously thought impossible by others.

He’d been living with her for nearly two years, and permanent adoption was well underway. Unfortunately, just two days prior to the official verdict, the young woman was kidnapped before Liam’s eyes, causing him to become an emotional wreck for months afterwards, and nearly silent for the best part of 6 years, hardly uttering a word to anybody unless he needed to do so.

Thankfully after this, Liam didn’t end up in abusive or neglectful homes, but none wanted to deal with what they saw as a troubled child. They didn’t understand he couldn’t attach himself to anybody, scared of losing them like he did Rosie. They thought he was cold, unloving.

Dreadfully frightened of thunderstorms, he doesn't really like to be left alone during them, and will usually remain wide awake and terrified when alone, not able to sleep through the noise or the sudden bright lights. As such, Liam often remains awake all night, crying in fear and a need to be back with the mother who loved him.

Liam wants to be known, and identify as Lily-Rose, knowing he was born into the wrong body. To Liam, he is, and should be a female, not a male. Caught when trying on the dress of a foster sister, he was sent straight back into care by the father of the family, a strongly religious sort of person.

Unfortunately for Lily, this news got out fast. Now the centre of ridicule and bulling both in school, and in the safe house, he has been forced to act like Liam once more, much to her dismay. All she wants is to be who she truly is, and to have Rosie back, the only person she ever called “Mom”.

2.) Tabitha "Tabby" Harrison, aged 17.

Thomas is currently planning to transition from male to female, opting to be known as "Tabby" or Tabitha.
Her main interests are varied, with some more "masculine" interests, such as comic books and super-hero movies, though she also has typically feminine interests, including fashion, and ballet, something she has a real passion and talent for.

Standing at only 5'4", and a little below the average weight for someone her age, Tabby isn't too bothered by her short and thin form, instead using it as an advantage when she is dancing.

She's never really given much consideration in regards to her sexuality, feeling she needed to discover her gender identity before she even thought about entering relationships. However, she is pretty sure that she likes other women, though she'll not really admit this. She puts this down in part to the fact she only ever had the odd friend, and when she did, they were girls, so naturally, she grew closer to this gender, and never interacted with guys enough to discover how she truly feels.

Homeschooled for most of her life, she asked to attend mainstream school for the final year before college, wanting more independence from her father, as well as wanting to make friends in real-life, not just online. Her father, though he struggled to accept Thomas at first, has grown very protective and supportive of his new daughter, happy that she is happy.

3.) Alexander "Alex" Daniel May

Standing at roughly 5'6" tall, thin and frail, Alex comes across as a very shy kinda guy, and that's because he is. Clumsy and accident-prone, he's often getting into mishaps, usually at the worst possible times. As such, he can often be seen wearing band-aids, bandages, or even with his arm in a cast! The timid sort, he's not willing to really stand up for himself, so is probably TOO willing to allow others to use him for their own fun. He has, on occasion, defended himself, though not for too long, nor against many people. (Read: One.) He can take teasing as long as he knows it's in good humour.

Underneath the shy, clumsy and awkward exterior is a very sweet and loving young man, with a heart of gold and a quite strong romantic streak. However, he is also prone to taking negative comments to heart, as well as often blaming himself for his friend's problems. Despite this, if you show him an amount of love and affection, he will be the same to you.

4.) Arthur "Artie" Roberts/ Ruth Roberts.

W.I.P

Name: Arthur
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Gender: Female

He'll fit in with Slice of Life scenarios quite easily, and will be suited to ANY personality of female seeking a best friend. From the shy and timid with confidence issues, to the abused needing someone to confide in, to the thrillseekers and "bad ass" types. Hell, he'd be perfect for a Female to Male, or tomboyish character.

Basically, remember this. So long as they love and care for him as a brother/sister, he'll be the same for them. This will NOT be romance.

Essentially, however...

His name is Arthur, and he is 18 years of age. Bubbly and cheerful in nature, he is a loving and friendly young man, who cares for, and adores, his vest friend with all his heart. He'll do anything to make her happy, even if he feels it's not the best thing to do at that moment in time, or if it might lead to trouble of some description.

He always knew he was different to most boys when growing up. He hated sports and the rough and tumble games that most males played, much preferring playing with the girls and their dolls. When it came to dress up play, he didn't want to be a firefighter or a policeman, or in the army, he wanted to be a pretty princess, or a fairy, or a nurse.

As he grew older, he never seemed to "grow out of the phase", much to the disgust of his highly religious and old-fashioned mother and father, who followed the "men should be men" and "women should stay at home" train of thought.

As a result of this, he was disowned at the age of eleven by them, and put into care.

This proved to be the best thing that ever happened to him. He ended up in the care of two women, whom had been seeking to adopt for many years. They were more then accepting of his crossdressing tendencies, and his want to eventually identify as female. They brought him dresses, skirts, make-up, etc, and made him feel loved and accepted.

__

And so on. These are just four of my characters, and I can create more to fit most any scenario wanted. I have no plots in mind at the moment, as I prefer a character-driven approach to storytelling/RP.
Bump.
You're my new best friend now.

BECAUSE PANDAS ARE THE BEST
Someone gave me inspiration for this idea based on an RP we had together about a year ago, and I thought it'd be fantastic to try and kick it off again. I don't know how the 18 and over section works here, so someone will need to explain it to me so I do not fuck things up.

At the very core, this focuses around best friends who have known eachother since they were about 8 or 9, and grew up as next-door neighbours. At about 16, they end up apart due to a awful prank pulled by a classmate, which ends up in the door in a feud, which seems like it'll never end up healing. They refuse to even acknowledge and look at one another, and it seems as if they will just forget that the other ever existed.

Two years pass, and they both turn 18. During the two years, they've ended up apart from each other, the two have changed. (M/C) has become a much more shy and timid guy, retreating into his own shell like a tortoise in times of danger, whereas (Y/C) became more of a "bad girl" type. Smoking, drinking, sex, etc. Even going as far as selling her body for booze money, fighting with an addiction to the alcohol.

One night, someone sends her to (M/C)'s new home, having already "paid her for sex". When (M/C) answers the door, the two realize what is going on.

Yet, James lets her in... They don't have sex, but instead end up having a heart to heart, and realising how much they miss and need one another. (M/C) swears he'll help her through her addiction, and puts all his heart and love he once had, and really, always had, for his best friend into helping her make it through.

As for how Y/C supports mine? Well, I guess it could be based around getting him out of his shell, or helping him with his reading and writing, as he has always struggled with this his entire life.
I had a little nugget of an idea that I'd quite like to develop and play out with another writer.

Effectively, this is a simple concept that will focus around a pair of twins, one of which (My character) has learning difficulties and medicinal needs, making him very reliant on (Your character) for help with communication and various day to day tasks, as he is unable to look after himself well, and will never really have any independence. Despite this, he is a very happy and bubbly young man, filled with love and affection for (Your character).

(Y/C) is a "normal" teenager in comparison to her brother, and his chosen main carer. (Everything else about him is your choice.)
I figured the main plot would focus on aspects of their day to day lives, including (Y/C) working on teaching (My character) how to speak, helping him develop more of his own skills and to undertake aspects of his own care, etc, etc.

Obviously, this will NOT be incest. The main focus in on the twins, and they can be anywhere between 15 and 18 years of age. If the parents are still in the picture, of if they are in the care system is your choice. However, they will be the YOUNGEST siblings in whatever family unit they are in.
Sorry for the vagueness information wise, I just have the skeleton of an idea at the moment, unfortunately.
So, I thought it'd be fun to creste plots with other writers, given pairing ideas, and key words that we can work into the RP in some manner, from being a mere passing reference, to a character's interest, to a plot point. I am open to making all pairings 18+, so long as you are.

So... Pairings!

Shy Guy x Shy Girl
Best Friends
Roommates
Shy Guy x Bad Girl
Deaf x Mute
Blind x Blind
Best Friend x Best Friend's ex
"Average" x "Average"
Timid Guy x Popular Girl
Shy x Tutoring Student
Outcasts
Lovebirds
Unlikely Pair

Etc, etc. As you can see, I primarily play "Shy Males", and I DO NOT touch taboo things like incest.

Feel free to make suggestions!
So, as the title says, I'm craving a cute little role-play, focused around the adoption of my character Lily, with (Y/C) either being a mother, or older sister to her. (I can accept an aunt/ cousin, etc.) This will not be incest. It will be dark at times, perhaps overly so.. But.. I know it's basic, but it is hard to define a plot without both characters worked out, IMO.

Credit goes to my friend, Exmedic for drawing me Lily.

Born on December the 24th 2002, Liam is the shy and quiet sort of chap, much preferring to be in the background and not intervene in things going on around them.

___

Limping up the almost empty rain soaked streets, Liam wiped away the tears from his face, ensuring no more blood remained under or around his mouth in the process. He'd been set upon by a pair of classmates on his way home from school, in an attempt to "get rid of the gay!", as they put it. He knew he looked a mess, shirt torn and splattered with mud and his own blood, a tooth knocked out. His nose had been bleeding, and his glasses broken, leaving a cut in his nose. It hurt to put too much weight on his ankle, and he was almost positive he'd dislocated it...but he couldn't face up to the reason WHY he’d been attacked, feeling too ashamed to do so.

Earlier that day hadn't gone too well either, with Liam making a fool of himself in front of his class..

/"Being born into the wrong body can be one of the worst things a person may ever have to face. Physically or emotionally. The struggle to accept yourself, and thereafter to be accepted by others.

The hate faced by others towards you, just because you want to be who you truly are within. The comments, the spiteful behaviour, the kicks. The punches.

Who you feel you are. Who you have the right to be. You all get to have that human right. But I don't. Because wanting to be a woman? That's "wrong" in your eyes. "Disgusting", "Evil"..."

Shaking with emotion, Liam's tear-filled eyes had run back over the words on the paper in his hands as the words passed his lips, hoping that someone... /Anyone/ would take the words he spoke and think again about the actions they undertook. The words they spoke. But he doubted it.

"You deserved it. I'm glad it happened to you!" A voice, deep and rough, had broken through Liam's speech, drawing attention to the newest speaker. "Freaks like you deserve it! Too bad you weren't killed!"

A few cheers had greeted this acclimation, mingling with a few "Yeah!"s or "FREAK!"

With that, Liam had ran from the classroom as fast as he could, looking to hide underneath the bleachers, where it was quiet. The rain had continued to thunder down upon him, drenching him, but he no longer cared./

He needed help now, from anybody. Spotting a small, local store, he took a deep breath and entered it. He’d heard some students talking about it, saying the staff were always professional and kind to them when they went into there, but he didn't know that, really.. He knew it was probably just them being kind to make more money, but… Maybe someone.. staff, patron, passer-by.. would help him.

“Help me..” Liam’s voice was soft and frightened, the footsteps of his assailants coming behind him, knowing full well that they had followed him up there. People were in here, so maybe they’d leave him be…
I am simply looking for a LITERATE writer to write a simple, fluffy and romantic RP with.

I have NO requirements for your character at all. I only ask that this song be "their song". ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9_vhYpR9xo )

I'm perfectly open to dark and mature elements, though this will obviously need to be carried out in PMs. I am NOT, however, open to anything illegal, or incest. Sorry, you like that stuff? Go find someone else. I'll post an example of one of my characters and starter below, though this doesn't have to be used. Please PM me if interested.

Name: Alexander Harrison
Age:18

At times, Alex can grow a little.. jealous if he feels like his friends are starting to ignore him in place of someone else. Sadly, this has happened to him quite often, and it leads to him not wanting to be away from people he loves, knows and trusts for too long, in case it ever happens to him again.

A possible opener:

"Alex wanted to give you these, but he broke his wrist last night, so he's not come in today." The tall, brunette male leant against the lockers, holding out a bunch of roses, a box of candies and a card to (Y/C), smiling at the young woman. "A shame really, considering the dance is tonight." Pushing his glasses up his nose, Joe smiled softly. "He really does like you, you know. He's just way to shy to come up to you. I know it might seem creepy, but I assure you, it isn't his intention."

Pausing, he smiled again. "Alex is a sweet kid. It's just that, with his speech problems an' all, he finds it hard to make friends and communicate with people." He added, knowing full well it wasn't really needed.

Grabbing a pen, he scribbled something down on her hand. "Look, here's his address. Go and see him, yeah? God knows he could do with being cheered up." And with that, Joe left, raising a hand in his farewell.

The card Alex had sent was simple, a dark pink colour with "Happy Valentine's!" across the front in a silver colour, an image of two teddy bears hugging beneath the text. Written inside, in Alex's neat, soft cursive was;

'Hey..

I'm sorry I sent Joe with these, but please ignore that? I would have brought them myself if I could. Believe me, it'd have seemed a lot better... But anyway, let's not dwell on that.

I was going to ask you to the dance, but that plan might not work too well... But, I just wanted to tell you that you are an amazingly beautiful young woman, and that, if you ever would consider it, and you don't have to... Would I be able to take you out for dinner one night?

...Happy Valentines. I hope you like the flowers and candies!
-Alex'
