Gearing up to get started with one or two new threads!

Bio

As a role player, I like to play my characters in a way that enthralls others. If I can make people care about my character and what happens to him/her, then I feel I have succeeded. My play style is very much about having fun, but its also about challenging others to make choices and grow their characters.

I am a military member without many ways to outlet the stress of life, so I come to role playing to get away and get lost in the worlds we create. I love to write and I have been doing it for years. I'm not afraid to hop into a super serious, super in-depth thread, nor am I afraid to take part in your typical high school RP. If it interests me, I want to jump in and start driving the story.

@Dusksong I want to add to my post, but first I'd like to ask permission from you. I'd like to play a St Vladimir official, perhaps a head of security or maybe a more political position to be the one to convince the chancellor to let Orion out. Or perhaps the one to want to convince her otherwise, whatever you intend on her position being on the matter. Let me know!
@DusksongOrion awoke to what could only be described as a retrofitted dungeon. It was modernized with electronic locks and surveillance, but it was a dungeon all the same. In a way, he felt a sense of relief. At least he knew what to expect from such a place. Anything was better than that wooden chair and checkered floor. This floor was grey and cold. It felt nice on his face as he lay on his side.

His body was clean and bandaged. It seemed someone had tended him in his unconscious state. What kind of people would do such a thing only to imprison him? Why would they keep him alive? That had to mean they wanted something from him, just like the others. In a sudden burst of terror, he jumped up and went to a darker corner of his cell. There was nowhere else to hide. His fear was eclipsed only by the unbearable knot in his stomach. The wrenching gastrointestinal pain of a ghoul's hunger had set in.

He gripped his abdomen with one hand, using the other to catch himself as he fell to the ground again. He wanted to shout for help, but he knew none would listen.

Desmond Lloyd was tall and lean, but his build didn't match his ability as a Moroi. He was strong for his race, especially in his gift of fire. Despite these, however his true strength lay in politics. The Vampire was not accustom to playing games. He was straight forward and blunt. Apparently the queen liked that in him. He figured she must have liked his complete disregard for rules he deemed pointless too because he hadn't gotten in trouble yet.

Des entered the chancellor's office with a graceful, long-legged stride. Hands straightened his black, velvet suit jacket and removed blackened, John Lennon sunglasses. His pale, milky-red eyes gazed vacantly at nothing as he addressed the woman before him with a friendly, yet mischievous smirk. He slipped the glasses into his inside jacket pocket, tilting his head down toward the action. The movement allowed some of his thick, unruly, jet black hair to fall in front of his useless eyes. He liked to turn his head toward actions like he did because it made those who knew him subconsciously more comfortable. Those who didn't know him would have trouble discerning the visual defect he had been born with.

"Madam chancellor." He greeted, flashing a toothy, fanged grin. Hiding this feature was not something he bothered with since such appearances were irrelevant to him. "I hear you have a... what did they call it? 'A Fallen One' in your holding cell. Since the reports your guardians made, the queen has tasked me with helping... deal with it." He drew a hand-rolled, clove cigarette, lit it with a snap of his fingers and drew, awaiting a response. He hoped his reputation had preceded him.
I think im going to bring everyone together and then start focusing on fewer characters at a time. I get lost in all these things sometimes and don't know what to write.
@shylarahTsitua grinned, she was eager to learn, and he liked that. He placed a hand on her shoulder and nodded, "All in good time, Punkin."

His grin disappeared as he realized what he had just said. It was replaced by astonished regret. Retracting his hand he turned with a furrowed brow and left the room.

Mae had a hand over her mouth as he went by her. She relaxed when he was out, moving to a heavy bag. With a check of the fit of her gloves, she explained, "That was what he called her. His daughter I mean."

The armored man stopped abruptly before the door. He didn't turn to face those who had addressed him. His mask let out built up, pressurized steam from the suit's cooling system.

"Your gratitude is irrelevant." He said robotically.

"Cain." Orion introduced, "his name is Cain." The ghoul was standing over Bart's body, gazing regretfully he knelt down and pulled a fallen tablecloth over it. Popping all of his fingers one by one, he addressed the group. "I'm sorry this happened to all of you." He wanted to say more, but the words wouldn't come, so he said the only thing he could.

"I am part of the Circle of Death. We're an organization that exists to stop things like this, and we will put a stop to this." He snapped his fingers, and Cain turned to face him. They passed an NI message between them and he exited the store. Orion stayed to wait for Cera.
@shylarahlet me ease your confusion, this thread is taking place in a period of time within the Jack thread I haven't gotten to yet, and where I will be doing a time-skip anyway. Think of it as a crossover, like how the Flash tv show crosses over into Arrow or Supergirl.. yeah I watch those shows, don't judge me lol.

As far as the Owner, I'm totally cool with whatever you decide. It could be any point in history you like, as long as it's the same basic course of events I can work with it. I'll roll with whatever you decide, but does this mean we get to meet the Owner??? *wiggles in anticipation*
@shylarahso, this will be... better explained later in the story, you MUST know that it isn't going to make sense at first, but it will later. Tsitua is, in my lore, over 600,000 years old. There's a fluctuation of the fabric of time in his story. For this story, I'm willing to reduce that to maybe six thousand for the sake of our lore making sense and still maintaining Tsitua's lore. The Owner should be around seven to ten thousand y/o, so he would know what Coodaudu used to be, compared to how tame he is now. Here's a little run down...

So, Coodaudu used to be a calamity to the humans and humanoids of the earth. He possessed people like Vlad the Impaler, and Adolf Hitler. As a fire demon, all he knew was destruction, but finally the [owner?] had a battle with him during the Cold War era that left him too weak to maintain a possession, so he had to latch onto someone else to survive. No souls would accept him until he happened across a thirteen-year-old boy in a crashed car. A piece of his soul was missing, so Coodaudu fit right in, staying dormant until the boy was recruited by the Circle and was taught to access his chakra. Over the years he learned to use Coodaudu's power and eventually taught the demon what it was to be loved.

... so that's a thing. I put the owner in there because I think that's a good way for the stories to mesh. I don't have to know things about the Owner, all I have to do is write it so Tsitua knows nothing but hint at the fact that Coodaudu does.

Concerning the Ring, Kabuto could find a member and entice him/her to become active again. That's something he would do if he felt he could use them. What would they have to offer such a devil?
@shylarahi was thinking of teaching her to teleport and stuff like that. Seers don't usually tend to have crazy super powers in my lore. Even Nunque is pretty vulnerable. He can't focus enough to hone his abilities, so although they're strong, they're also limited.

As far as Jareth, I was going to try and coax him into staying and learning the ways of tech, and maybe tapping into his ability. Thing is he is obviously not the combat type, so I would give him more of an assistant position while tying him emotionally to one of the females. That could prove a fruitful and exciting story.
@shylarah lol, there's a story to it, you'll see
@shylarahTsitua released her and helped her up. Tossing her a sweat towel as he dabbed himself dry, he took her question seriously, "There are many things we can help you do. We can help you train your Sight so that you can See more. We can train your body so that you can fight without it. But these are simple things, I'm sure you're aware hat seeing the future isn't the only thing a Seer can do." He peeled his gloves off and approached her again.

"When I found out that my core ability was that of fire-" he held one palm up and created a ball of flame in it, "-I thought my ability was limited to just that; fire." Using the little blaze, he burned the skin on the back of his other hand, leaving as scorched, blistering wound. He held the wound up to Amune's level so that she could watch the wound heal itself as quickly as it had formed. "We always learn our core. What's exciting is learning what it can do."

Cain watched as Wolf when stiff, then began to spasm as the lightning fried him on the floor of the Upstairs. Eventually the screams of pain stopped, and nothing remained of him but a flopping carcass.

Cain attached his blade to the maghold on his back and exited the Upstairs without a word.

[sorry this isn't my best at all.]
@shylarahalso, Orion is actually a blood demon who fathered all ghouls...
