@shylarahMae gritted her teeth. She wasn't sure if she was frustrated with the other girl, or had found a new respect for her. In any case, she felt a little better after the Seer apologized. That was enough for her be more at ease. She was right. In her own way, Mae wanted to protect her leader, just like anyone else on the ship would.

Ketsuoana led the way through the corridors of the ship until they came to a stretch of hallway lined by thick glass on either side. Tsitua was there, leaning against the glass. He gazed sternly at the stars and nearby Earth as thought churned in his mind.
"Ketsuoana. You grace us with your presence." He said without looking away from the view. There was a familiarity in his voice, befitting the closest of friends. There was also a hint of resentment in it, as if he didn't want the man to be there.
"Miss Amuné was just telling me a little about herself. It seems this goes deeper than we thought." He replied, avoiding his student's rude greeting.
"I'm listening."
"Kabuto sent us a message through her. He's made a mess down there, and he knew we would see it." Ket explained.
"Indeed." Cain said, stepping out of a shadow. His body was still fully armored, but no one could deny it was him. The robotic, metallic voice as well as the way he melted in and out of shadow was unmistakably his MO. He updated the two other men through the neural link with images of his encounter.
Tsitua sighed, and looked to Cain. "Update Victor and Eric. They are to start putting a team together. I need to be with Amuné, in case anything else comes to her." He turned to face his elder, but the man was gone from everyone's senses. Clearly he had accomplished what he had set out to do, so the hybrid lay his eyes on Amuné. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have called you that." He couldn't hold back the pain in his voice, but there was a sincerity there too. Was he apologizing to her, or to his deceased daughter? He wasn't sure.
