@ItMeGritty The "power level" of your deck should be relatively low. You're suppose to be a somewhat ameture at the game, so the build should not be optimal, the idea is for your deck to grow as your character grows.
@Vetis The idea is for your character to get better over time, so as long as you can come up with a reasonable explanation to gain a new deck farther down the line, that's completely fine.
As for the duels, if online dueling is not possible, the GM and I have talked about just having the duelist talk to each other about how they want the duel to play out. Just remember, be respectful and make sure both players are okay with the outcome. If problems arise, you can PM either me or the GM.
Also, just a quick thing I wanted to throw up, a slight bit of background on both mine and the GM's characters, they are both rising stars in the ameture league. So if any of your characters either played in or have kept up with the ameture tournaments, you would most likely recognise their faces. This isn't to make our characters more important or anything, it's for if you guys want to tie some of your characters to ours, that's a nice simple way to have some sort of connection with our characters.
@Vetis The GM and I approve of your character, so you can go ahead and move it over to the characters tab. Also, on the whole spirits monsters, we are totally okay with you having you character taking to his monsters like they can talk back, and the GM and will talk futher about how we want to handle that sort of thing a little later on and we will update you when we have all of that sorted.
I don't think either the GM or I have major problems with custom cards, however you will have to send them to one of us so the two of us can talk it over and see if we approve of it or not.
Urtum looked at the pictures of each lead researcher with deep interest, taking a few moments to look over every detail, trying to pick out something about them that rubbed him the wrong way. After an uncomfortable amount of time scrutinizing over the faces of the researchers, he finally pointed at a couple of them.
"Want to talk to them. Would most likely have the answers I'm looking for." His request came out as more of a demand than anything, although he didn't seem to notice his demeanor as he was all too focused on thinking about the right questions to ask and the information that he needed to know.
Personality: Dori is very self-centered and often places himself above others, believing that leaning on another for help is a sign of weakness and vulnerability. Although, that's not to say he's self-confident, as his cocky and often malicious attitude comes from the fact that he feels he can't put trust into anyone, thus he has to be better than others, seeing as he has no one backing him up. He's cold and distance when it comes to interacting with people (even his own brother Jason) and it takes a lot to break down the wall he has built up over the years. However, if one does break through that wall, they will quickly find that Dori is a drastically different person than he presents himself to be.
Brief History: As a kid, Dorian always had a tenancy to follow in his twin brothers footsteps, always finding interest in what Jason found interesting. However the relationship he and his brother had changed once the two became enamored with the game of Duel Monsters. With his brother becoming obsessed with the game and antagonistic towards Dorian, the two became distant, a strong Disdain growing between them. Jason's pride and self-centered nature quickly rubbed off on his twin, turning the once joy filled child into a bitter young adult, bent on proving he was better than everyone else. This affected his relationship with his twin brother so much that the two started resenting each other. This new attitude feed into every part of Dorian's life, isolating himself in some vain attempt to "remove the problems" from his life. Upon being accepted into Duel Academy, Dorian's parent's gave himself and his twin brother matching Duel Monsters decks to upgrade before leaving for the Academy. With new deck in hand, Dorian is ready to prove to himself and everyone else, that he is the best Duelist the world has ever scene.
Hey, just wanted to let you know, I haven't forgotten about this RP. Been dealing with some rough situation both at home and work and just recently switch from a graveyard to a day shift, so I've been kinda zombified for a while. I should be getting back into posting sometime this week or next week.
"Bandits? Interesting." Was all Urtum said as he kept his gaze on the stream of information being sent to him via A.L.I.S. It all seemed a bit off, but Urtum wasn't quite sure why. It kind of frustrated him and he couldn't figure out what bugged him about it all. It just felt kind of wrong. The Salarian looked over at the Turian standing by for a second, "Do you know who has access to filing data and information into the Archives. Would like to speak with them. Curious about something. Doubt you could answer."
As he spoke, Urtum sent the Commander another message, 'data feels wrong. Not sure why. Possible fudging of data or post edits. Will look into it.'
Urtum shifted himself over to the terminal, taking out a small disk which encased the data of his A.I. A.L.I.S. and inserted it. The small hologram of an Asari popped up from the panel and he spook to it as he continued reading some of the information from the Archive.
"A.L.I.S. need full data sweep. Relay any outliers or anomalies. Also, for the commander, need list of research subject transports."
"Of course Doctor." A few moments past before the Asari spoke again, "There have been two transports that have left recently. The "Allora" and the "Surda", both left at the same time, but the Surda never reached the given destination. Seems someone hid the missing shipment report within redundant files."
Urtum nodded at A.L.I.S., conveying the information over message to the commander and looking over at the Turian, "Know anything about this Surda transport ship?" He also sent a second message to the commander with list of the missing subjects ID numbers and signed off with 'A.L.I.S doing full data sweep now, will notify of anything important.'
