The blood soaked girl stumbled into the town, searching desperately for the male. She didn't know his name, she only knew his face and that he was important to her some how. As she entered the town it started storming. The rain fell fast, but lightly, washing off the blood that covered her, leaving a trail of scarlet as she walked. With every turn Theodora became more confused. She remembered she had once lived in this town.... or was it visited? She couldn't remember anything other than her name, the faces that popped in and out of her mind, and how delicious that boy's blood tasted.
Theodora rounded a corner just as a crash of thunder was heard from overhead. The timid girl let out a screech at the same moment as she came upon a motionless body laying in the middle of the street with a sword through it's stomach. Theodora drew closer to the body.
She looks familiar....
Theodora bent down and gently removed some of the raven black hair that concealed the girl's face.
I can see her face in my head....but I can't remember her name....
Another clap of thunder from overhead sent Theodora flying into the air and scurrying a few feet away from the body. "I-it can't be... she was dead just a minute ago. I thought I just saw her chest move...." Then she started to notice the body moving. Theodora raced behind a nearby hut and watched intently as the dead body rose from the ground, removed the sword, and running in a predetermined direction.
Maybe if I follow her, she will lead me to the man I am looking for.... Theodora ran from hut to hut, trying to be quite as she followed the mysterious newly risen corpse out of town and into the forest.
