This RP will be set in modern times, but in the Incredibles Universe. Supers became legal again in 1962, though hero work requires a license and insurance to pay for any damages you cause. We are a combination of body guards, PIs, and mercenaries.
Earlier this year several companies, including Alphabet Corp, Apple, Disney, and several designer clothing brands, decided to put together a team of superheroes for the publicity and merchandising rights. They hired us to be a part of this team. They will be providing all of our gear, though we may make minor modifications if we need to. We will be sent on missions around the world from time to time, though most of our work will be done in cities around the US, as that is where most of the companies are based.
If anyone is interested in helping me design this world as a co-GM, please PM me.
Name:
Super Name:
Power(s): (Multiples or multi-part powers should be closely related. Ex: flight, invulnerability and super strength from zero range TK; rocket flight and fireballs from pyrokinesis)
Physiological changes: (How did your powers alter your biology?)
(This section is here to try and balance power levels. May or may not use it. You have 10 points. A rank (the highest) is 4 points, B 3, C 2, D (average human level) 1, and E (low human level) is 0.) Strength: Your Physical strength. This determines how hard you hit. D can fireman carry their own weight. Durability: How much damage you can take and how well you can take a hit. D can take a hit in a bar fight, but you'd need a C to take a haymaker from a professional boxer. Energy: How much energy you have to burn using your powers. D rank and higher and we'll assume you don't get very winded doing basic combat or running short distances. Agility: Your ability to dodge and aim, and do gymnastics. D may be descent at martial arts/gymnastics, etc. Intelligence: How smart are you? This will determine how well you can do technical stuff. D can learn basic mechanics/medical skills.
Skills: Non super things you can do, like pilot a plane or speak French.
Personality: Interests, how you treat others, etc.
Super ancestors: (who this is depends on the time period. Present means that you are the grandchildren/great grandchildren of the people from the movies. If it's set just after the movies, you would be the kids/relatives of the older supers, maybe the ones that Syndrome killed.)
Bio: Childhood, why you joined the team. If we set this just after supers became legal again, how you learned to use your powers in secret.
Super Suit/Gear: (Including the manufacturer you will be advertising.)
Name: Peter Adams
Super Name: Quantum
Power(s): Quantum Phenomenon: Quantum Entanglement: Can connect two almost perfectly identical objects so that energy and their quantum state is identical. Unlike standard quantum entanglement, this does not need to remain supercooled to be maintained, though extreme heat can break it. Quantum shifting: Can move the atoms in his body or an object up to one meter with enough concentration, allowing him to go through barriers. He can also shift by about .5 meters without much concentration, to dodge incoming attacks. Quantum Portals: By combining these two abilities, entangling the oxygen and nitrogen at two different places and causing the particles to rapidly and constantly shift places with their entangled partner, he can create a circular area of .5 meter diameter which, when touched, will move the touching molecules to the other location. While liquids, gasses, and plasmas move through as individual molecules, solids pull the molecules they are bonded to with them, effectively pulling solid objects like humans into them with 2G of force at the point of contact. This has a range of up to 5 kilometers. With concentration he can also make the portal larger, but the maximum distance decreases proportionally to the area of the portal. This can only be moved with high concentration and cannot cut solid objects, as the particles can't be disentangled while they are moving matter.
Physiological changes: Entangled Neurons: Many of the neurons in his body are connected via quantum entanglement. This allows his brain to process data far more quickly and his nerves to send messages faster, greatly lowering reaction time.
Strength: D Durability: D Energy: C Agility: C Intelligence: A
Skills: Many languages, computer programming, technology, engineering, some medicine, though he isn't a doctor.
Personality: Likes STEM. Also anime and Sci-fi. Not a Weeb, but he's weeb adjacent enough to mostly understand them. Likes teaching others and helping those in need, but sometimes he gets a little too smart for his own good.
Super ancestors: Universal Man (great great grandfather, deceased), Violet Par (grand mother)
Bio: His dad didn't have powers, even though he was descended from Universal Man. His mom could shoot energy blasts, but just wanted a normal life. She got a job in a nuclear plant, as she was immune to radiation poisoning, while his dad ran a catering service. When the plant found out she was a few weeks pregnant, they laid her off until he was born.
Her doctor's best guess is that the radiation flipped some gene in his DNA, reactivating what he inherited from his great great grandfather. That, combined with his grandmother's genes, put him on par with the more famous supers like The Incredibles and his distant relative Voyd.
When Google began putting a team together they hired him as a consultant. He helped them set up the equipment for the new team, integrating his quantum entanglement into it so that the could communicate with a perfect 4G equivalent signal anywhere in the world, and transfer several kilowatts of power to each of their devices from the base with his power transfer devices.
Super Suit/Gear: (Everyone gets an Iphone 8 with a bluetooth headset. The headset includes the Quantum Entangled communications gear Quantum invented, allowing them to connect to the base with a full 4G equivalent signal. This signal can be shared with others, but normally it only allows others on the team to access it. If you let someone else access it, you have to designate their level or access, Standard or VIP (Heroes, which lets them access our files on criminals), as well as the speed of their connections. The phone also has custom security software to protect itself and us. The phone looks like a normal person's phone until you try to go to open a hidden program.), carbon nanotube weave armor (good against peircing and cutting weapons, not great against blunt trauma)(by Under Armor), plasma gun

Characters lists in case anyone wants to be related to someone from the movies.
@FalloutJackActually, I was thinking of when he ran off of the cliff and survived by hitting branches without injury. Mostly that was because he caught branches or because of his suit, though, so maybe that was more agility than durability.
Similar to how I'd set his mom's durability at C instead of B or A even though she survived a missile strike. The suit was shown stopping small rockets when she first saw it so it has to offer a bit of protection. His suit could be very similar instead of just being low friction, and highly wear resistant.
@Rockin StringsThe only issue I see so far is that you left durability off of the stats. That would mean that it defaults to an E, low normal level, but you also mentioned that he was more durable so that he could handle his power.
As a reference, I think Dash from the movies would be:
