Security are the only ones allowed to openly carry loaded firearms, however Due to the small population and evident threat of the outside all vault citizens are offered basic fire arm training. Feel free to edit YCs since we haven't started yet, but all players will be assigned to maintenance for plot purposes. This makes sense since you are posted where you are needed, not necessarily where you are skilled. We're still waiting on two players to post their characters. If they don't post by this evening then I will continue without and re-open applications. @gowia @Voltus_Ventus @Mike Wasowski
Sure thing, @Voltus_Ventus

John Kard was the adviser to the former overseer. He opposed the opening of the vault fifteen years ago and brought the vault out of chaos in the wake of the raider attack.

Elijah Coffee led the vault security forces during the raider assault and at great personal risk led a team of security to rescue a group of vault dwellers trapped in hydroponics. He took grenade shrapnel to the shin which to this day impedes his movement.

Janet Jones worked hand in hand with John Kard to re-establish leadership after the attack. It was initially her idea to establish a council in the first place.

Isaiah Deitz was a reluctant member of the council, only joining at the repeated request of John. He is brilliant, far more brilliant than his job in hydroponics allows him to be, but he hates making decisions about vault policy. Government is not his forte.

Gregory Morgan recently took the place of Councilor Maddock, the original Director of Maintenance. He has a gift for machines and people and is one of the only reason those who work in maintenance are content with their hard and thankless job.

Sex:Female

Age:22

Personality: Benji is guided by a strong moral compass and a dogmatic sense of personal justice. She feels condemned by actions her father took that she had absolutely no control over. She tries hard to be a model vault citizen believing that loyalty to the vault is paramount above all else. Through this behavior she seeks to reconcile the sins of her father with her own place in the vault.

Biography: Benji was seven when her father left the vault. She remembers the night the attack happened and cowering with her mother as her neighbors were killed. When she graduated the vault academy she tested highly for leadership, but due to her fathers past and the generally negative response other vault dwellers have towards her family, she was assigned to vault maintenance. Gregory Morgan has a soft spot for Benji having seen her work ethic on a regular basis.

Skills/Traits: Basic mechanics, Charismatic, Hardheaded

Starting Inventory: Pip-boy 3000

"War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over."

- William Tecumseh Sherman

War never changes. In the heart of the big apple fires burn, war drums beat, and forces move on the ground that threaten to rip Manhattan island apart. Here the combined forces of the Wastelands greatest mercenaries are in a brutal stalemate with the Raider Ramsay. Out of the rubble of the New York Museum of Natural History, and on the backs of slaves, Ramsay has built an empire. Rileys Rangers, The Talon Mercenary Company and The New San Antonio Freelancers exchange fire, and lives with Ramsays followers while on the horizon something far more sinister stirs. From the west, an army of slaves and integrated tribals march under the banner of Caesar, Led by the Legate Circe. This is all foreign to you, however. Your only concern has ever been your home, Vault 148.

Applications are now closed. They will reopen if someone drops out. We start on monday.
@WildCobra Fantastic! PM a rough idea of YC.
Same as above ^ @Voltus_Ventus
Feel free to PM me your character details. We can discuss what I expect from the RP and answer any specific questions there.

This is based on a well thought out plot I have been planning for a while now. Feel free to post your interest here, or PM me your character idea. We need 4-5 people before we will begin. All of these should be denizens of Vault 148.
