“Honestly? I have no idea when any of these guys will be back up and walkin’, if at all. It definitely won't be soon, as you said, but I’m more on the line of if instead of hoping for a when.” he sounded eerily casual about the whole thing, as if their lives really didn’t matter too much. “I can keep em on support as long as you’d like, though. You’re the boss, after all.”

A knock on the door gathered the medics attention, and he looked to see someone- if you could count a robot as someone and not something’- with an oddly perfect form standing in the doorway. It gave Maxi a bit of an uncomfortable feeling. He made space for the newcomer to join in the room, and diverted his attention back to his patients. From the looks of it, those two had something to talk about and he really didn’t care to get involved.

He really didn’t have much to do to them, since he had checked up on them fairly recently, but a touch up or two in front of the captain to show he was being diligent couldn’t hurt. Make him look all responsible and stuff, to avoid getting in shit. Plus, he really had nothing to say to either of them. The quicker they finished up their chat and left him be, the better.
I'm not going to have my laptop until tomorrow; I'll get a post up when I get it back! ;w;''''
A wave of unease hit Bonny the second the doors to the truck were opened. The ride there had been a growing ball of silent tension for her, with nothing to do but wait for the inevitable. Deep breathing, tapping her foot, none of them really helped to settle her nerves for when they got there. Booker had went to take the lead, standing in front of the group with a rather hard look and ordering them to move. Well, he was certainly doing a good job of his acting. His words and actions sent a slight shiver down her spine- he felt like a whole different person.

She stepped out after Shawn, trying to avoid looking at anyone in the group in order to look natural. It looked like Shawn had the whole ‘don’t just speak in english’ thing down, much to her relief. Although her verbal language wasn’t able to help disguise her, her body language helped her blend in and fit the role of terrified, stolen child. Mostly because she was, in fact, very terrified. She was hunched over a little, silent, eyes darting around the building in a mix of curiosity and fear. She took in everything around her as they were marched further and further into the building; although she didn’t have the time to look over each screen and device in detail, she could gather that whatever it was doing wasn’t very good.

Once they crossed the odd coloured door and reached further into the lab, Bonny nearly froze at the sight she was met with. There were kids, just like them, except dehumanized, strapped down and prodded and examined more like rats than people. She turned her head away after the first few seconds of looking, unable to stomach the sight. The reassurance they’d be able to save them was a relief, but just the thought of it even happening in the first place…

She stood in awkward silence as the group waited around, and listened to Laura as she gave instruction. Incapacitate people? She didn’t have the skill for that. Maybe she could, like, slap someone. But not much else without her mutation. Bonnys eyes darted between everyone else in the group, hoping that the rest of the kids were secret martial arts masters or something.
Well, that was some… confidence boosting advice from both parties. Bonny was silent as she listened to Heidi and Wade, looking between them as the speaker changed. Follow commands to a tee, escape if panic starts to set in, her role would more or less determine if everyone lived… yeah, this seemed like a happy go lucky mission of rainbows and sunshine. And to think she was just enrolled in this group the day before with minimal warning on what it would entail…

She slouched forward slightly as the two finished up. “Well, that was an optimism boost right there. I… thank you though, both of you. It’s good to know this stuff in advance, at least”. She definitely didn’t look the happiest at how… real everything was, but it was going to happen whether she liked it or not. She briefly turned her attention to the masked man. “And thanks for the vote of confidence. No pressure or anything, eh?”. She didn’t really have much to say otherwise, so she fell silent and listened to the others chatter. Once some of the team started to fall asleep, she found and took the medicine she was suggested to before taking a nap to join them.

A dreamless sleep she was promised, and a dreamless sleep she had got right up until the telepath entered her mind to wake her up. She waited for the rest to be woken by Booker, and followed the rest of the team out once everyone was up and ready to go. Everything was heavily planned; the transport vehicle, the adults roles, everything. All she had to do was act terrified (well, she was already kind of terrified, so there wasn’t much acting needed), not speak English, and use her mutation when the time came. Seemed simple enough, though the pressure the masked adult had put on her reminded her that her actions still had to be at 110 percent. She mentally recorded everyones roles and headed into the… transport vehicle. The big, white van of a transport vehicle. … she was sure someone else had to be thinking it too. If only she was psychic…
Mexico, huh? That was quite the long flight. Even with some team building activities, she still might be well off taking a safe nap at the end. Ah well, she’d see. As they boarded the plane, Bonny took a quick look around in fascination before taking a seat. The shark punching person and the other- tatiana, was it?- gave her some bad vibes, so she thought it was well to sit away from them on the ride there. And back, hopefully. Laura had mentioned something about blood bags and feeding off of people, and from the girls reaction to everything going on, Bonny didn’t want to be close to her at all.

She took her seat as the Blackbird took off, and she was rather quiet until Shawn spoke up on the idea of team building activities. At least she wasn’t the only one thinking that line of thought to actually get to know the people on the mission. Tatiana, or the girl that looked ready to turn on them all, was the first to be asked something, and she provided the least detailed answer possible. Well, someone certainly wasn’t a team player. Bonny felt that they weren’t going to get along very well.

Her attention went to Heidi when she was addressed as “the new girl”. Not exactly the best at starting a conversation, huh? She lifted a hand and waved in a leisurely manner. “Sup, Heidi. I’m Bonny; nice to meetcha.” she offered a small grin and a thumbs up to assure that everything was fine. “So, do you have any mission advice for the new girl?” She could briefly hear Shawn and Tatiana continue their discussion, but she decided to focus on Heidi instead.
I'm sorry I've been a little quiet, I've had a hard time doing anything the past few days. I'll try finishing up a post soon ;w;''
No answers? It didn’t seem like there was a point to letting them ask questions if he had told them all he knew. Not like it really mattered to him. Asking questions wouldn’t change what had to be done. Maxi was silent as Taleste headed out, and until Stryker chose to address him again. “Huh? Yeah, sure, I don’t see why not. They’re doin’ just fine, though.” He was still pretty bitter about being ordered to tend for one of the wounded that he really didn’t want to tend to, but Stryker was the boss. He couldn’t turn his request down, lest he get the short end of the stick.

He sat up from his seat upon finishing his breakfast, put his plate where it needed to be (he’d clean it later, maybe), and gestured for Stryker to follow him. He hardly waited for the guy to actually sit up; he motioned for him to come, and then headed down the hall back to the med bay. Not like he’d be polite to him after he was ordered to put up with that idiot from earlier. Maxi knew very well that he couldn’t disobey a direct order, but he could be petty and be the most intolerable person in the world until he felt satisfied.
ack, my bad ;_; I just threw something quick up for a post. @pyroman
Bonny listened silently to what cable had to say. She had gotten a general idea of what she would be doing, but she did more or less ask to see if there was any equipment she needed. From that answer, it was safe to assume there wasn’t anything specific needed on her part. Just kind of take a nap and have Emma guide her in her dream to help her reshape the world around them. She found a little bit of humor in the concept of sleeping through the key parts of the mission. Though the line “when the situation grows dire” and not “if the situation grows dire” made her a little uncomfortable. These guys seemed to have it under control; she’d stop wondering and just go with it. It’d be easier that way, since she didn’t really have the option to back out.

She noticed the majority of the others had returned from gathering their equipment. “I appreciate the offer, and I can hold onto them just in case I do need them, but I think I’ll be fine. The flight will be a good time to get to know everyone here and all that.” It looked like, from the crowd that gathered, that they were about to head out. It still felt a little surreal, going into a mission so fast. Her attendance record would already be tarnished, and she’d have to grab her books and such when she got back. Oh, and apologize to Sally if she couldn’t make it. She’d figure it out later.
She… she was not expecting this. Her expression turned more and more shocked as Laura ran through every tiny detail of the mission. Every repeat, every tiny change that those three had to make. It was surreal, and at first sounded a little like a movie she’d go see on a friday night or something. But the more Laura spoke, the more it sunk in as truth. How many times had this happened? Why was this team… why was /she/ so relevant to this task that seemed to hold such weight in the grand scheme of things? And the fact that every precaution was in place to keep them safe… did that mean, in another attempt, someone died? Maybe… maybe she had died. The thought didn’t help to reassure her that this would be fine.

Although she really, really didn’t want to go, the spheal that she had just heard left her with no other option on the matter. She understood (well, sort of understood) the severity of the situation, and that she was needed specifically (well, this part she only kind of understood, but she accepted it regardless). The group was dismissed to gather supplies; since she didn’t really have anything to work with or use, she ended up watching everyone else head out to gather what they needed. She didn’t know what she might need… but, maybe the time travelers did. They did say they were prepared, after all. They should know she had no idea what she was doing.

Once the rest of the teens selected for the mission filtered out of the room, Bonny took the chance to approach Cable. She did kind of want to ask about the future, but judging from how pressed they seemed for time, she figured that was a bad idea. “Um.. I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea what I’ll need for this mission. Kinda very new here. Is there any supplies or equipment that I need to grab, or am I goin’ in just as is?”
