Jack would nod to Violet. "Of course, me too. Jack and Violet here, Vector and Shadow out there. Easy." He would say quickly.

Listening to what the rather short and rather large guys were saying, Jack realized we might have a really bad situation here. "Woah now guys," he would lightly and, humorously almost, slowly step between the two, keeping a steady look on them both, "Nobody wants any trouble here. Let's just calm down and go our separate ways, real easy." To the shorter one, he would quietly and quickly say, "If the word you're thinking of is the same one in thinking of, then it would be best not to say it. I do know my heroes and villains, and there aren't that many words out there." Jack would look at him meaningfully, hoping he understands.
Jack would have been idly smiling about the errand boy remarks, zoning out when he would have noticed Violet suddenly. His face would go a bit red and he would smile a bit sheepishly. Girls always did make him nervous, so would Jinx had he not been so rushed.
"Uh, yeah, it's... Um, nice to meet you, Violet. You don't have to call me Vector, Jack works fine too." He would say quickly, with a little nervousness. "Unless you prefer Vector that is? Do you prefer Sha-" he would be cut off by her being knocked forward at him. Jack would catch her quickly and set her straight, watching her whirl around to the others. She is a bit fiesty, it seems.

Vector would quickly dart next to her with his hands raised at shoulder height, peacefully. "Woah, guys, let's just be friendly, yeah? No need to go staggering and swaggering about, knocking heads before we even start... Right?" Speaking to Violet out of the corner of his mouth, Vector would quickly ask, "Do you prefer Violet or Shadow?"
*sigh* always lonely at a 3rd shift job.
"Oh crap, why am I always late?" Jack thought to himself as he burst through into the assembly, rather loudly, sprinting straight towards the stage at full speed. No one was able to react just yet, what with him being a speedster and all, and he knew that he had to make at least a decent impression before it all got out of hand.

Rushing onto stage, Jack went straight in front of the headmasters. He would stand there in full costume, his gunmetal grey outfit gleaming slightly. "Hello everyone! Sorry to interrupt, hope nothing important has just been said. My name is Vector! I'll be joining you!" He would say excitedly and a bit quickly.

He would immediately turn and start shaking Mammoth's hand with ferocity. "Hi Mammoth, I'm Vector, pleasure to make your acquaintance!"

Then he would zip over to Jinx in a flash, drop to a knee and take her hand in his. "Hello, Jinx, you look as lovely as ever." He would kiss the top of her hand like a gentleman. As he stood, Vector would pull off his mask and bow, leaving a red rose in her hand. "You may also call me Jack if it pleases you, Jack Hawke." He would smile before immediately finding his seat amongst the crowd. The whole scene would take maybe twenty seconds at most, and was sure to leave people wondering what had just happened exactly. Jack would sit back and sigh, his nerves relaxing slightly as he looks around at the room curiously, eyes darting like a lizard's to and fro.
Double.
Okay, I can deal with the limit.

Technically speaking, yes he can do that. Which is hilarious because I had totally thought about doing it to someone. But it would only stop them, they could start moving again immediately afterwards. It would be like stuttering mid step, like when a bowling ball hits those really crappy alley bumpers or someone ruins your jump on a trampoline. Speedsters actually do it to each other in fights and races.
Okay.

1) He can only just reach and slightly surpass the sound barrier with a lot of work involved, otherwise he generally sticks to 770 mph as max speed to keep from causing damage or panic. Obviously in times of great duress or need he could go much faster, but doing so would cause him a lot of stress and possibly even knock him out due to lack of energy.

2) No tornados. They would be around 15 feet tall at the stronger points, head height for normal ones. More than one, but they would fade away in seconds. He can only really sustain one at a time to the best effect. Best for moving air, catching people and launching people.

3) does not apply to bullets. Mostly people or larger things, like if a car was speeding out of control. In a couple seconds he could safely decelerate it and stop it, taking it into himself and negating the momentum. Harder on larger things. And he can transfer the Speedforce temporarily into other people with concentration, so that they will move with him at the same speed until he breaks the link. It slows him a bit though.

4) it isn't so much super strength, he's only slightly stronger than most athletic people. He can't lift cars. With enough momentum he can hit a lot harder. It'll be specific to the strike or move based on energy use and speed. Normal hits probably hurt like you were hit by a professional boxer. Enough to knock people around but not enough to do major damage.

5) the strongest IMP was done by Wally, and that's because he is impossible. Mine would likely launch someone into or through a wall or two, at the strongest a couple blocks, but no more than that. It's Like getting hit by a train, but in one punch. I have no intention of likely ever using it unless saving myself or another. Last resort only.

6) healing rate is more for minor wounds. For gunshot wounds, small ones, it would take at least an hour to heal completely. Slashes and cuts almost instantly as long as they aren't deadly or maiming. The Speedforce can be used to accelerate the process further, but would pretty much use up all his energy andaube knock him out if it was bad enough.

Anything else?
-CAN run fast enough to create a sonicboom, although it requires a lot of stress. He's not that practiced yet and doesn't know the limit of his speed. Can be seen by those with increased perception, but altogether is slow enough to predict if one were aware. Short bursts of speed allow him to move faster than the eye, but again can prove difficult if prolonged.

-can create vortexes and guide them decently, the faster the stronger but a bit too destructive if not careful.

-Cannot create Speedforce constructs

-Cannot time travel

-Can survive off the energy of the Speedforce for a time, is very dependent on sustaining his energy, must eat A LOT.

-Can vibrate and phase through objects and barriers

-is creative with his powers and tries to apply them in the best form possible.

- can steal the speed and momentum of another object to slow or stop it. Can also share his own speed with people and objects to accelerate them.

-thinks, moves and acts at high speeds, brain works like a supercomputer, which makes him lose track a lot.

-photographic memory. Can read and understand whole books in seconds.

-superhuman stamina, durability, agility, and through momentum and Speedforce application, strength.

-Can do the Infinite Mass Punch. This requires almost all of his energy and is a last resort move that will likely leave him and his opponent unconscious. Applying the Speedforce and almost all of his energy can create a strike that will floor nearly anyone, at the cost of great harm to himself currently. Is known to have knocked people from one continent to another, but is obviously much, much weaker here.

-Accelerated healing and slowed aging process. Can heal from most wounds almost immediately, lives a very, very long time. Does not appear to age much.

-Can manipulate electricity in the form of static and weak Speedforce Lightning. No real combat applications as of yet. May be worked upon in the future.

-Speedforce aura. Protects the body from the environment, allows a speedster to run through flames and other dangerous things safely (to a degree). This can also protect them for a period of time in a vacuum such as space, dependent on how much energy they can summon to continue.

Anything else? I think I covered it all. And if there is anything I need to tone down, I can and will.
Character Sheet

Name: Jack Hawke

Alias: Vector

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Skills: Some martial arts skills, mostly a freestyle fighter. Slight tech knowledge. Knows many machines and things inside and out, but doesn't really know what they do all the time.

Powers: Speed Force Conduit: Think powers like the Flash, speedsters. I can get in depth if needed, but know that I won't be over extravagant and if anything needs explained I would be glad to do so. It's just a lot to write.

Equipment: Costume made of adaptive molecules, capable of slight adaptation to appear as a set of normal clothing (hoodie, Tshirt, jeans and shoes). Made of a frictionless material common for speedster suits so they don't tear off or ignite at high speeds.

Personality: Very easy going. Might seem full of himself but that is unintended and untrue. With his mind processing faster than everyone else, he tends to skip things or seem rushed. But he has a heart of gold and is very caring. Sometimes he gets nervous around girls, even though he can't help but flirt, and he always has a cheery disposition.

History: Jack Hawke was a pretty ordinary kid, running track through school and getting good grades. He was always absent minded and a bit of a dreamer, sometimes walking through the city for hours just watching people as he dreamed. It was on a day like that when he witnessed a car crash happen almost right next to him. When he snapped out of his trance, he saw a third car coming and a woman in danger of being hit in the collision. Jack ran as fast as he could, completely missing the power lines that had fallen in the water in front of him. When he struck the water, he saw the whole world slow down around him, as a sharp pain coursed through his body, and suddenly he was on the other side, holding the woman in his arms. He fled the scene quickly, unsure of what had happened to him.

After some talks and study, Jack learned that he had somehow become connected to the speed force. He spent a time alone, trying to get a hold of his new abilities. It all seemed to come naturally to him.

Eventually, he decided that it would be good to learn some formal instruction, and decided that the H.I.V.E. would be a good place to start. And so he rushed headlong in, although as we will find out, a speedster is ALWAYS late.

Appearance: Jack is about 5'9" and about 160 pounds. He has bright green eyes and very light, feathery brown hair that is a bit longer, down to his jaw line at some spots, and unruly at all times. It usually looks blown back and sits well enough. Very slim build, with a decent musculature all around. Wears a grey hoodie and pants, and running boots that look normal, except for the alterations and stylings that make the outfit appear similar to the costume. More of an improvised civilian version. Pictured below.

Vector's costume covers him fully from head to toe, with a full mask and covered white eyes. They're are two small wings on either side of the head (similar to Flash's lightning bolts, but smaller), and styled with a few lines over the mouth vertically, giving it a skull type appearance. His suit in general is a gunmetal grey, with dark silver and almost white-gold lines crossing it to make a lightning pattern across the suit and make the lightning bolt on his chest. The second knuckles of the gloves up to the elbow appears to be slightly armored, as well as the boots appear to be made of some metallic material and go up to cover the shins and knees. The whole suit is sleek and aerodynamic, the frictionless material allowing him to run unhindered. The rest of the suit seems to have a thinner armor or shock absorbers in and on it, rounding it out and making it look defensible.

Other: if there are any questions about my character, please do ask. I can define any of the powers of necessary.

H.I.V.E. Five. Yeah. I read it.
Sigh...
