hey

hey you guys

you should post a thing

(Sorry if this makes me seem pushy, but this RP is too cool to die!)
Oh yeah! Speaking of the playlist, I had a listen yesterday. I have to say, I didn't expect either of the Bastion songs or Nillili Mambo, but they were all pleasant surprises! Seems like you're pretty good at choosing soundtracks! =)
Originally I wanted to annotate the tracks with excerpts from your posts, but I wasn't sure you'd be ok with that, so I made do. :)

I, for one, don't mind you adding bits of my posts at all. It'd give a neat effect to the playlist.
Camryn chuckled. "We've all been there, trust me. You find the right guy sooner or later. Or girl, if that's how your tastes run. I'm not judging." Camryn went back to eating her cereal. Personally, she thought that Tsukiko was overreacting a bit, but decided not to comment to that effect; it'd be rude of her. Eventually, the girl left for a table with Nathaniel and another guy, and Camryn was left at her table again, eating cereal and sipping coffee. I wonder when classes are gonna start. Seems like breakfast is almost over. To pass the time, Camryn decided to do some people-watching. She did manage to catch the girl from earlier getting dragged away - literally - by some random guy (at least, they were probably a guy), and saw Ethel stalk away from the ninja-looking showoff. God, there are a lot of weird people here. How do you even get hair like that?
The ride down in the trolley was slow and silent, save for the grinding of the trolley against the wire it rode on. Maria sat against a wall, the puffiness of her jacket making it very comfortable, which was why she had brought it. Seeing how strung-out the skinny man next to her was, she unzipped a pocket and removed a small, pink hard candy, with translucent pink wrapping paper. "Candy? It's homemade. Passion fruit flavor!" She said to him with a smile.

Whether he took it or not, Maria settled down in her corner. Her jacket felt like a blanket being wrapped around her, and she gradually dropped off into a light doze.

BAM!

Maria shrieked as her eyes flew wide open. For a moment, she wasn't really able to process what she was seeing; then the fact that she was staring at a huge, bestial monster, at a Grit, a Grit who was staring back at her, hit home. Instinctively, she whipped out her notepad and pencil, and wrote down what she liked to call her "Air Mine" sigil, which was three wavy lines surrounded by a circle. She thrust the sigil into the face of the Grit on the ceiling, causing the sigil to emit a blast of air directly into its face. Whatever the results, Maria took whatever time she had to shout "Run!" and sprint as fast as she could after Kat and Vincent. "Wait for me, guys!" A faint crackling could be heard as she ran from the elevator, though it quickly faded from hearing.
Mmm. Shit.

Time to blow that Grit away. *rimshot*

...Later, though. I'm still at school right now.
@Dud Indeed it is! She's pretty neat, though my favorite character is probably Nobby.
I'm also interested. I'd prefer one of the newer regions, but if we end up doing Kanto or something I'm fine with that.
Name: Haroun bin Rahman bin Omar al-Rashid. (He prefers to go by just Haroun, and introduces himself as such; saves time.)

Age: 18.

Bending ability if any: Earthbending.

Birthplace: Unknown, though his best guess is somewhere in the Si Wong Desert, given his aptitude for sandbending.

Appearance: Harun stands at an imposing 6' 6" (1.98 meters). He's very strong, with muscles being readily apparent all over his body, but his face still displays some baby fat. His skin is a light brown, and his hair is short and black. He has a scruffy beard, and he gives a general impression of being far more gentle than his appearance would make you think he was, which he is.

Backstory (Optional): WIP.

Items/weapons on person: A small knife and a pouch of sand, which he keeps refilled by using earthbending to chip off parts of buildings and grind them into dust. Of course, he can also use the dust and dirt that accumulates around the city for sandbending, but using the pouch is generally easier for him. He also has a belt, which he keeps the pouch and knife strapped to, and a set of hand wraps, so that if he punches someone, he doesn't end up hurting himself.

Physical Attributes and Abilities:
Sandbending (III).
Traditional Earthbending (boulder-flinging and such) (I)
Hand-to-hand combat (II)
Camryn was once again startled awake by Melchior's yelling, and while she didn't fall off her bed like last time, she did resolve to see if there was a volume control button at some point. After going through her routine (and almost slipping on the wet floor after her shower), her stomach decided to make the fact that she had skipped dinner last night readily apparent, as it gurgled loudly. She frowned at it and said "Hush, you. Breakfast ought to be soon." She made sure she had her Duel Transceiver with her, and then went downstairs for breakfast, heading straight for the food line. She passed some ninja-looking guy doing a handstand with one hand on the way there, with a small crowd of students surrounding him. Huh. That's pretty impressive. Why's he doing it here, though? Camryn thought. She shrugged and carried on through the line; it wasn't her problem. Unless he toppled over onto her, of course.

After filling her bowl with sweet cereal (but no milk) and MacGyvering together an iced coffee, she sat down at a table near the door. She pulled out her Duel Transceiver and scrolled through the announcement with one hand and ate with the other, occasionally pausing to take a sip of coffee. Oh cool, we're starting Turbo Dueling today. I hope they provide us with Speed Spells. Otherwise I'd wager that a lot of people's decks would be screwed over. There was a girl nearby mumbling about "ignorant jerks" and "smash everything in front of me." "Having boy troubles?" Camryn asked her. "Don't worry about it; for every good guy, there's ten utter pricks."
