Well, I already have two F's instead, but both of them will even out later in the quarter (since it's only the second week right now). Plus one isn't actually my fault, and so should resolve itself by tomorrow, which is when I have the class again.

Camryn huffed in amusement. "Standard dueling or gym class, got it." She sat in her seat and caught her breath for a bit while Transformer explained/screamed what they were doing in that class. "Ooh, tag dueling! That'll be neat! Hopefully my partner is at least sorta competent." Fortunately, she didn't have to worry about her partner's competency, because she ended up being partnered with Megan. "Aww yeah! Time to go kick some serious ass!" Just as she said that, a guy who looked like he was in Earth dorm ran up and introduced himself as Haas, Nathaniel's partner. Nathaniel introduced her and Megan, and before she could get a word in edgewise, Nathaniel suggested that the four of them duel each other. "Sounds good to me, too! Where should we have our duel?"

After hearing Shinrei's bragging, Camryn huffed. "What an ass. Hopefully that big rugby player-looking guy will deflate that ego of his."

Well that makes it pretty much settled, soon as @Tojin posts we can get started. And for a tag-duel we gonna want to get started ASAP!

@Tojin Two issues I have.

1: 'About an hour ago' isn't quite the correct time frame. Not only would you have needed the time to breakfast, shower and so forth, but it's been confirmed by my that at least one entire class had passed. This day's taking place in the middle of the day instead of early morning like my previous posts.

2: ya can't just shut off Melchior's alarm, dingus. It isn't an alarm clock, it's a speaker that only rings once. So someone that wants fall asleep right after doesn't need to do anything special other than wait a second or two.

Oh, I thought I changed that to say "a week ago". My bad.

As for the alarm, I'll edit that accordingly, though punching it off the nightstand is gonna remain. =P

The card shop, a week ago

Camryn wilted slightly, but remained cheerful. "Oh. That's alright. Let me know if you get any Deepspace monsters, OK? See ya 'round!" She walked off with a bounce in her step, which quickly faded when her body reminded her how late it was. Camryn had been planning to explore the school a bit more, but now that plan was overridden by her pressing need to collapse somewhere that was softer than the floor. She made it back to her room, and had just barely finished her nightly routine before falling onto her bed with a fwumph and curling up under the blankets. Her last conscious thought that night was Must've been the turbo dueling, I guess...

A few hours ago

The alarm Melchior went off again, and Camryn grimaced and snuggled closer into the little cocoon of blankets she had built in her sleep. Reeeally not in the mood to deal with you right now. She thought blearily. She muttered an invective, and went back to sleep.

Now

Camryn woke up gradually, with a yawn and a stretch. She plopped back down and glanced blearily at the clock on the wall. One could almost see the gears turning in her head before she straightened up and said "Shit, I'm late!"

Camryn was certain she had broken some kind of world record, so quickly did she throw on clothes, shower, grab her deck, and nab a quick breakfast - or lunch, rather - from the closing cafeteria before sprinting to the classroom. She arrived disheveled and out of breath, but victorious. Panting slightly, she said cheerfully "Here, sir! Sorry I'm late, I overslept a tad." Camryn took an empty seat near Megan and Nathaniel, hoping to sit near her friends. "Heya guys. What class is this again? I only had time to check the location before I had to run over."
