Everyone's characters look great so far! If anyone has any questions let me know.
evershadow said I don't mind helping you GM if you need it. I've been a GM in a lot of roleplays for a long time so it wouldn't be anything new. As for being vice pres IC I don't really see that working as my character is only a exchange student and I wouldn't want to be vice pres.

True, I'll figure out another way to elect a VP IC. I'll still appreciate the help though so you've got the job. Thanks for offering!
Anyone interested in being the Co-GM let me know. You would be the vice-president IC.
Had more time then I thought and got the OOC up!

OOC
Name: Koji Matuoka

Age: 20

Appearance details: None

Height: 5'11"

Background

Hometown: Osaka

Major: Animation

Hobbies: Reading literature, drawing, sight seeing.

Part-time job: Barista at Sudoh - Bucks

Back story:
Koji grew up with a love for anime and manga. When he was younger he was put out by the other children his age so he would spend most of his time at home. As he grew, so did his interest in anime. He began to teach himself how to draw, figured out making scripts, and started working on small manga projects. At first his work was very sloppy, and lacked any kind of style, but by the time he entered university he was able to produce a somewhat decent finished product.

When he decided to go to university, his parents were excited for him, but couldn't support his tuition. He took on a part time job as a barista to help support himself. At work, when things were slow Koji would spend time day dreaming and drawing on coffee cups. People usually told him that he always seemed distant, and in his own world. But Koji was just thinking about drawings, his favorite shows, and being able to work for a major animation company one day.

However, Koji never shared any of his work with others. He was not confident in his own skills and felt that he would be ridiculed by anyone who read it. After his first year of university at Todai he moved out from home and got his own apartment. He still didn’t have many friends though, so he decided to start an Anime Club to meet people with similar interests. He had gone through the paperwork with the school and they had agreed to let him start his new club.

From there the Anime Club was born!

Edit 1: Updated CS to look prettier, added a bit to his bio.

There's different ways of doing it. One common way is for player A to use generic ways of phrasing so that he/she can ask/say multiple questions/things in the one post which better simulates conversation avoiding one-liners.

I believe EverShadow put it well.

You can use a single post to address multiple conversations at once.

An example:

A: Pointing at player B "That's what I said idiot!". Player A turns to look at player C "Oh really? I thought I was the best".

I feel like this would be a good way to maintain multiple conversations and have a more natural flow.
Great!

If interest keeps up I'll get a OOC started sometime tomorrow!
Hello!

This will be a medium - high casual RP.

Basically the idea of this RP is that a group of University students studying in Tokyo have come together and formed an anime club. The club will participate in many activities such as going to maid cafes, Comiket, and all sorts of other fun things you might do in Tokyo. In the club there will be plenty of chances to talk about anime & manga. There will be no super powers, mecha monsters, or anything of that nature. It will simply be a slice of life RP about a group of friends who love anime.

Both comedic acts and romance are encouraged, drama is more then welcome!

There will be around 4-6 spots open depending on interest.

I do ask that participants be at least 18 years old and enjoy anime & manga!
