Pulling the hood of the cloak Lilika held around her body, she looked around herself. Seeing no one around she quickly made her way to the back gate of the castle. She had it, today was the day she would go and see her people. She knew if her father found out he would put guards around her bedroom, and she could not have that happen.
A light wind blew by her as she stood below the tall wall, her hood moving a little with the wind. Her purple hair was tied out of the way, only a few piece stayed in her face. Her golden eyes glowed in the sunlight, she let out a small sigh and looked to her left to see a tall tree. She could climb that to get over the wall, feeling happy she pulled herself up into the tree. Only have some troubles with doing so.
Before having left she found a nice flat pair of shoes to wear because if she had to do this in her heels it wouldn't have gone over well. Holding onto the rough tree branch she walked along another branch up to the top of the wall. After having both feet planted to the top of the wall she looked around, seeing the kingdom glow in the sunlight and it went on for miles and miles. She smiled to herself before turning around to look for a way down.
With her hood still up hiding her face from the world, she saw another tree just a little ways down. Walking over she looked at the tree for a moment thinking of the best way to get down, before taking in a deep breath and jumping. She gave a small gasp before she clung to a branch her one foot slipping making her almost fall to the ground. She could feel her heart racing quickly in her chest. She stared down at the ground before finally pulling herself upright and making her way to the trunk before making her way to the ground she was a little surprised at how easy that was.
No one had seen her, there must have been something going on in the market place today. Hoping she would get to see whatever it was she smiled and started her way to the market place. The sun high in the blue sky and a light wind to keep the heat away. Today was going to be the best day of her life.

She had made it. The place was huge, her father had made it sound much, much smaller. Many people walked around buying things, selling things and even trading. There were so many people it was hard not to be pushed around. Only it was so much fun to just watch. Kids holding their mother's hands well the father carried the stuff they had bought. She was happy to see how life was outside the castle walls.
Walking over to a small bench she sat down and crossed one leg over the other and watch. She sat there for maybe an hour or more just watching the people around her. She then turned her head to see a little boy looking at her. He had very light blue eyes and short fine cut black hair. He looked at her then held out his hands as if asking for something. It made her heart skip a beat, this boy had no home his clothing were rip and dirty, he also was very dirty. "Miss, do you have, an-any food?" he asked her his voice so quiet it was hard for her to hear him.
This was so heart breaking how could anyone do this to a child? She looked into the boys eyes and told him "I'm very sorry I do not." The boys face clouded with sadness, so she added in "But I do have this" The boy looked up and saw the silver coin Jamie had pulled out.
He smile at her, and toke the coin carefully. "Thank you miss!" He said then hugged Jamie and toke off. She smile at how she just help a boy but also was a little shocked that the boy had hugged her. It made her feel even better, to have someone hug her again. Thinking that her father would never do something like that, he would not help someone in need or even hug his daughter. With him it's all about getting more and more money or so that is what she thought.
She pushed herself up and was about to start walking back, hoping that no one knew she was gone yet. Only a strong gust a wind blow by her pushing her hood down. She gasped and quickly pulled it back up. Hoping that no one had seen her. It was when a loud scream filled the air, followed by another one and then another. The screams became more and more and got louder and louder. She couldn’t tell where they were coming from she stood there, her golden eyes wide with shock. She turned around as another scream came from behind her, only to see why. They were being attacked.
