“Iris?” a man voice asked softly when the door started to open to a gray room, a white sheet bed which a matching white desk that had been coloured on.

“Iris is sleeping.” Floretta the five year old personality that lived inside the twenty-one year old German girl. Her accent was still rather thick, but her English had improved a lot since she been put in the intuition two years ago by her older brother.

The doctor smiled at Floretta before holding his hand out for her. The girl stared at it with her icy blue eyes, before looking up at the doctor’s face. “But bunny wants to say here today.” She said referring to the well used stuff bunny who had an x patch over one eye and red thread holding on one of the ears.

The doctor lowered himself to eye level with Floretta since she sat on the ground with the bunny. “What if I promised you that colouring book again?” He said the young girls face lit up with joy.

“You promise?” She asked before the man nodded his hand before holding it out for Floretta to take. The girl took his hand and was lead into the ‘play room’ as she and all the personalities had learned to call it. The doctor let her hand go before leaving to get her things. The five year old looked around the room. Dull of colour, people all off doing these things. She looked down at the bunny again. “I know, but Dominick wants use to be safe. “ She whispered into the bunnies ear.

Floretta looked around for her one friend, and bite her lip when she didn’t see her. The doctor had reappeared with the book and five crayons for her. She smiled up at the doctor. The doctor smiled back before turning to leave. Floretta grabbed his shirt. “Where’s Tori?” She almost pout. The Tori was an older woman who Floretta had taken on as a mother figure. The doctor sighed before matching Floretta’s eye level.

“Well she wasn’t feeling very well today, so we let her sleep. Maybe she’ll be feeling better tomorrow. Now go have some fun.”

“Okay Doctor McClair.” She said still a little said before bouncing off to the underside of her usual table, her book open on the floor, the crayons laying beside her, the blue in her hand, as she hummed softly to herself, her feet up in the air, hitting the table leg softly.

Florretta was only about half way through her current picture, when she saw a pair of feet walk by. She peeked her head out to see a boy she had never seen before. She watched him for a minute smiling before noticing how scared he seemed. She closed her book and picked up her crayons before crawling out from under the table and walking up to the boy, her colouring book held out in front of her. “Wanna colour with me! It’ll make you feel better? Dom-dom always used to say ah, well in German it’s Machen Sie eine Welt der Farben und Magie und all die schlechten Dinge gehen weg. But I don’t remember what it means in English.“ She said starting to rumble to herself a little. When she finished speaking she smiled brightly at him, the bunny she had hanging from her elbow on her left arm.
We're still working things out with the landlord, but none of my stuff was damaged. The wooden floor has popped off and broken off in places, but the worst of it is within the walls where you can't see it. So pretty much they are going to have to rebuild my whole apartment so we don't get mold.
Finally posted. I'm a little off my game since I'm just getting my muse back, but my next post will be much better :)

The sun was bright in the sky, hardly a cloud could be seen. The air was hot, but the speed of the boat kept the heat from being over baring. Carla Swiminer, the younger sister of Hale Swiminer looked out at the sea as the boat sped along to their scuba diving spot. Hale had wondered off to talk to a few of the people. Carla had her head phones on, her music pumped up so high that it could be heard faintly if you were to sit beside her. She wore jeans, a baggy t-shirt and a sweater could be seen lamely tied around her waist. Unlike most people who were enjoying themselves, Carla glared out at the sea.

She didn’t want to be here, hell she hadn’t even wanted to go on this trip. She knew her brother was lying about winning money to go on a trip as they were. They did live in the ghetto of New York City, just getting by pay cheque to pay cheque. She would have much rather spend the money on something useful back home then coming here. The sun was too bright, the air was too hot, and the people pissed her off. Men where here to tap some sexy girl and brag about it when they get back, women walked around without any clothing on, acting so damn happy. She didn’t understand how these people could be happy.

However, her music suddenly stopped, as her ipod disappeared from her hand. “Hey!” She yelled as she started to get up to see her brother frowning down at her. She glared up at him. “Give it back.”

“Not a chance. You need to start enjoying yourself. Hell why don’t you talk to someone. This trip is meant to help you get back on your feet. Yes before you cut me off I understand it won’t happen overnight. But for once Carla just forget the world.”

“I was doing that.” She said as she reached out for her ipod only to have him put it out of her reach. “Hale!” She wined in frustration.

“Not today Car, you can have it back when we get back to the beach.” He said before pushing it into his pocket.

Carla couldn’t help but stick her tongue out at him as she crossed her arms over her chest. “You better not forget it’s in your pocket and dive with it!” She yelled before huffing to herself and looking off to the side. She snuck lower in her seat pouting a little as she looked out at the water again. She reached up to pull her hair tie out and let her long brown hair fly in the wind before she lowered her headphones around her neck and grabbed the end of the cored and pushing it into her pocket so it wouldn’t drag. She bite her lip a little as she thought about pulling out her book which was in her bag at her feet, but knew that wouldn’t really work at the speed they were going.

Hale had wondered off to talk to some of the other guys on board well keeping an eye on Carla from a distance. This whole trip she’d been anti-social and a total downer. He had to throw her in the water every day to get her to swim. It was like dealing with a child that wasn’t his. Then again he was somewhat of a father figure to her since their father had never been around. He had used the money he kept hidden from Carla so she wouldn’t think he was something more than a bouncer at a Night Club. Carla had finally come out of the closet to him the year before and it took me another year to figure out why she was so afraid and hateful. He had found out about two weeks ago, the day before he threw them on a plane and left them to a world totally different from their home. She had not been happy but once her boss told her not to come back for two weeks and take some time off she finally agreed to come. Grumpily but she came. “If you’ll excuse me.” He said before making his way over to his sister who was still listening to music.

He quickly grabbed the ipod from her hand and disconnected it, holding it up out of her reach, she being a rather short woman. He wanted to smile as he held the ipod out of her reach, but kept up his frown to prove a point to her. After talking to Carla for a moment, well more like arguing, he pushed the ipod into his pocket and walked away. When his back was turned to her, he couldn’t help but sigh to himself. What the hell was he going to do with her. Maybe if he had taken action earlier it wouldn’t be so bad now. Looking up at the sky in the distance, he couldn’t help but notice more clouds rolling in, they were fluffy and white, so he looked around to find a lovely woman to talk to. Walking up to one, he smiled at her. “Ever been before?”

Since Carla had been also blushing and looking away she hadn’t seen Kimberly blush. However, when she heard the awkwardness in Kimberly’s voice Carla couldn’t help but look up slightly surprised before looking away again still blushing but for a different reason. She clung to the dress as if it was her life line as she saw Kimberly turn and walk down the hallway. Carla noticed when the woman closed her bedroom door, making Carla wonder. She paused for a moment looking at the closed door before hurrying after her captor. Coming up to the bathroom, she remembered it from the night before. Although she had been busy trying to get out she hadn’t really looked around.

It was like the bathroom seen in fancy hotels and in rich people’s home on tv. The shower made her uneasy. Who in their right mind wanted a shower that you be seen in. Clear glass, not fogged glass or even a current. Sure it looked nice, but. . . showers kept you hidden for reasons. Carla had been so focused on the shower that she jumped a little when Kimberly handed her the towels. “Sorry.” She mumbled in embarrassment before peeking over towards Kimberly. God she was pretty. She looked at Kimberly’s face, before she turned away making Carla pulled the towels to her chest as she looked down at her bare feet on the cool tile floor.

When Kimberly handed her a last towel she looked at it confused before glancing up at Kimberly and taking it. “You. . . know. . . I’d be fine with one towel.” She said softly blushing a little. “I honestly. . . don’t know what to do with all of these.” She said as she noticed the blush on Kimberly’s cheeks making her blush even more before looking down at them. They were soft, almost new feeling, better quality then any towel she had at home. But when she brought up the shampoos Carla glanced up and over to them, before hearing Kimberly move away. She watched the woman pull out a razor and start to bring it over to her. Carla shifted the things in her arms before holding out her hand to take the razor before seeing Kimberly hesitated. The blush that had faded came back making her look away again.

“Right-I-umm-yeah. It won’t happen.” She said softly before taking the razor from Kimberly and watching from a bit behind Kimberly, leaning over her just a touch to watch what she was doing, before nodding her head and watching Kimberly leave closing the door behind her. Carla sighed softly to herself and closed her eyes. She placed the towels down before the shower door and started to undress. However, as she did so she realized. . . her body had been stripped of all hair. She stared at herself in the mirror the horror of what happened to her starting to really sink in.

Her eyes started to water up, making her look away from herself totally disgusted and got in the shower and started to angrily scrub herself. She washed herself almost four times before she simply sat down on the floor on the shower, letting the hot water pour down on her red skin. She sobbed softly to herself.
Thanks for understand. Lost some time today that I would have used working on papers and posting. I'm back into my apartment but I may not be able to post until my paper is done. Sorry about making you wait!
Not totally sure, It was on the 11th floor I'm on the 7th. They were able to put it out, but the water had to go somewhere. My apartment isn't too bad, just a little areas on the ceiling and it smells gross in here. But we're all okay.

Oh just noticed you got your character up :) He totally looks the part!~

Thanks :) She's the actress Alexis Bledel
Yeah tell me about it. Right in the middle of papers and finals too. Usually I'm pretty good a doing papers, finals and posts, but not dealing with lack of internet and water damaged apartment. Thanks for totally understanding.
