Only a few cars would be keeping up with mine, and the ones that match or outclass the Phoenix would get left behind at their top speeds. Weapons are my only weakness!
Should also mention that in all races you can use your melee weapon to lean out of your car and attack opponents with, the effectiveness of this is determined by your firepower stat.
My car is fast, therefore my weapon is useless. I'll probably use it defensively.
Works for me. I plan on lots of flashy dodging maneuvers. For those who couldn't tell, mine is a pure driving machine. None of that silly mounted weapons nonsense.
Alexandria was born to a wealthy family on the west coast of the U.S.A., and has been pampered her whole life. From a young age she had a vested interest in racing, throwing tantrums if her parents didn't take her to the local tracks. When she reached the age to drive Alexandria quickly bought the most powerful car she could, crashing it almost immediately. Soon after, the 100th anniversary Bandit Edition Trans Am was released, which Alexandria also purchased and nicknamed "Phoenix". She practiced driving this machine carefully, having learned quickly the problems large amounts of power cause to vehicles. As she learned how to handle her new toy, Alexandria began to modify the car, intent on entering races. A few years and over a hundred races later, Alexandria is as skilled behind the wheel as the most professional driver, and is looking to test her prowess in the Risk Rally Grand Prix.
Painted an irridescent red and altered slightly from its previous incarnation in 2016, the 2077 Trans Am celebrates the 100th anniversary of the original Bandit. It has been lengthened to accommodate a longer wheelbase for an increase in control.
It has been heavily modified from stock. The suspension has been lifted to provide ground clearance and stiffened to handle any impact the road could dish out. It has been fitted with dual rear wheel drag radial tires to partially mitigate traction issues. A wheelie bar has been added to the rear bumper to prevent damage when the front end lifts. A fifth wheel has been integrated into the nose of the car, fully steerable and powered by the engine just as the rear wheels.
The interior has been almost completely stripped, save for the original driver seat, center console, and dashboard. The exhaust and turbocharger piping has been routed through the car along the passenger side into the trunk. A large fuel tank replaced the rear seats, along with the nitrous oxide.
Under the hood the classic V8 has been replaced with a custom 12 liter V12 engine mated with a 7-speed transmission. This engine is fed air through the ram air hood, and is supplemented with the power of a supercharger providing 15 pounds of constant air pressure, and twin turbochargers adding another 40 pounds each. These turbos are mounted in the trunk with their intercoolers. This additional rear weight also helps account for the issues with traction caused by this engine, which produces over 3000 horsepower and pounds of torque.

A massive single stage shot of nitrous oxide fed through a wet direct port system. This pushes the Phoenix to its absolute limits, a risky move depending on the circumstances.
