Twisted Light - A Dystopic Magical Girl RP

Alice tried to read the girl's mind while she was talking on the phone but again, she could only get foggy vague results. She cursed the Incubators for giving her such a useful power yet so useless. The only thing Alice got was the girl was going to stick around the industrial sector for awhile. Alice scratched her head pondering if she should just come out of hiding. When the girl started to move, Alice continued following her, unbeknownst to the fact she was already found out.

While following the girl, Alice was trying to make a guess on why the Authority was still sticking around. The Industrial Sector is not really much of a hotspot for witch activity or anything magical. Well, a witch domain does appear once in a while but that's not something that would attract them. Alice noticed the girl talking her phone again. She was not even hiding anymore since her curiosity got the better of her and she wanted to listen clearly to what was being said.

Recon work? What for? It was then something clicked in Alice's mind. She had heard rumours of some research going on in the sector but Alice had no interest in it at all since she had no idea what the research was about. If the Authority were here, maybe it was related to that. By chance, Alice had stumbled on a mysterious lab just a few days ago. She had been wandering around looking for a new target when she had fell through a hole in the ground. It took some time for Alice to realize she was in some kind of lab after using her magic as a torchlight. She quickly returned to the surface after that as she had other matters to attend to. If the Authority is involved, maybe its something important.

Alice decided to reveal herself to this girl. If its something important, maybe she would be able to use it. She grinned to herself. Alice jumped into the air and landed in front of the blonde girl who had just finished talking on her phone. She had transformed just in case but her scythe was still in its key form hanging around her neck. She was not looking for a fight but its just a precaution. Despite Alice's poor opinion of the Authority, she acknowledges the powers of those affiliated with the group. Alice put on her best 'innocent and friendly' smile.

"Well, hello there missy. I never see you before in this parts. What's your business around here? Not to disturb the normal folks around here I hope, haha."

Reason For Joining: Hikari always loved the supernatural and mysteries since a young age due to reading up tons of material on the subjects. She had heard rumours of the school's Seven Mysteries before her admission and was keen to find out more about them. To be able to solve the mysteries would be a great experience for her. However, while her love for mysteries is not untrue, she has a wish she want granted badly.

Skills: To uncover the mysteries, Hikari utilizes her knowledge and sometimes imagination to make sense of things when investigating. She is also quite resourceful as she usually is able to use an item she found for something, no matter how ridiculous it is. Some other skills of Hikari include being a fast runner, having a good memory for compiling and comparing findings and a bit of self-defence.

Personality: Hikari has a bad case of chuunibyou aka 'Middle School 2nd Syndrome'. This resulted in her acting exaggeratedly in simple situations and speaking as if she were in a super heroine, The Silver Agent, mystery story. Disregarding that, Hikari cares for her friends and constantly looks out for them. She usually 'speaks as the Silver Agent' when talking to others and for comical effect, Hikari at times does not even understand the heck she is saying herself and will pause before rephrasing her sentence. When investigating, while still as 'Silver Agent', Hikari usually displays more caution and protectiveness. Hikari usually breaks from her other persona when reading something of interest and in certain situations which took her by surprise.

Biography:
The Silver Agent was no normal girl. She was a girl born with special powers. She was blessed with a magic right eye and a strong left arm. Her right eye was bandaged to protect others from her eye's power as well as to keep it under control. Her left hand was covered constantly with a glove as her left hand burns anything it touches as well as super-strength. The glove is used as a limiter. Due to her being unique, the girl was isolated from others and educated at home. Her father trained her in combat for the trials she would face to succeed him as the next Silver Agent. The girl's mother died due to assassination when the girl was only 8.
When the mother was gone, the father decided to send the girl to school. She was treated harshly by the other children and she started to curse her own existence. Her father managed to keep her spirits up by telling her of his past adventures which became an inspiration for the girl. When her father died due to illness, the girl was adopted by strangers who saw her as a freak. However, her wish to become like her father kept her going and one day she received a nice piece of information via letter which told about her father's last case which remained unsolved.
The Seven Mysteries in a certain institution...her father's last case. When the girl turned 15, she managed to get into the building. She took up her father's old codename and vowed solve the case her father failed to solve.

That is the chuunibyou history. In reality, Hikari was not born a perfectly healthy girl as there were problems with her right eye and left arm. Her mother was killed due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her father told her of mystery and supernatural stories when she was young. When her father succumbed to an illness, Hikari was taken in by foster parents who hated her. She eventually left them after getting a scholarship to Mayami Academy due to her interest in solving the Seven Mysteries.

Before Alice was about set off somewhere, she heard a 'bang' sound nearby. She froze for a moment before checking what the heck it was and where it came from. Alice need not walk far since she saw a large group of girls not long after. Alice quickly hid herself.

"Looks like some of the Authority's dogs? Wonder if they are friendly?"
Alice chuckled to herself. She decided to read their minds however she only managed to get a vague reading. For some reason, its hard for her to read minds of the magical.
"Well, at least I know they are magical girls."
It was then there was the ringing of a mobile phone. It was coming from the blonde leading them.
Alice tries to get closer quietly to hear the girl talking on the phone. After successfully doing so, its to eavesdrop so as to find out what the Authority were doing here.

"Where am I?!!!!!"
Momoe was standing on a pile of unconscious thugs she had beaten up in an alley. Apparently, the alley she had slept during the night was part of their turf or something and they were angry she was occupying it without their permission. Before she knew it, she ended up fighting the group of thugs and had beaten them quite easily. Her grandfather had given her a map of Namimori to get to the next Vongola head's house however the problem was...Momoe had no idea how to read the badly drawn map.

Come to think of it, why can't grandfather just give me a normal map?!
It was a miracle she managed to get to Namimori. She was also given the photo of the boy whose name was Luca Yuuki. Momoe wondered what kind of person he is and if it were possible, maybe she could be friends with him. If what her old man told her was true, she may end up working with the boy as part of the Vongola Family. She MUST befriend him. Well...first thing, she needed to find him. Momoe then kicked one of the thugs awake. The poor boy groaned in pain since Momoe pretty much punched and kicked countless times mercilessly. They were lucky she did not use her swords. Momoe showed the boy the picture of Luca.

"Do you know this boy?"
After getting the information she needed, Momoe kicked the boy unconscious.
"Since he is to be the next head of a powerful group...shall I see how strong he is?"
Momoe smiled to herself and started running in search for Luca. According to what the boy said, Luca attends the local middle school so she would start from there.

"Another poor ignorant soul down...."
Alice looked at the grief seed she was holding in her left palm. There was a smile of satisfaction on her face as she had succeeded in eliminating another person who was against co-existence. The cries of pain the girl had let out was quite nice to Alice's ears. She relished in seeing her targets' suffering and striking them with her scythe while they were helpless in her cage. She drove the magical girl to the point her soul gem tainted and transforming her into a witch. Alice was surprised she had the patience to carry out such a plan. Usually she would hunt those whose
soul gem were almost fully tainted but the recent target was torturing a family of normals that she felt she needed to step in and kill.

Alice looked at the charred remains of the target's corpse. After dealing with the witch, she had proceeded to cut the body and burn it to a crisp with her magic. It was necessary to not leave a single trace behind just in case though Alice knew sooner or later the Authority would be tracking her down. She must not let herself be caught and get pulled into the system she detest so much. With the job done, Alice went over to the family and they cowering in fear. The family consisted of an older boy with two little girls. Alice deduced the three were probably siblings. The boy seemed to be her age when she became a magical girl.

"Where are your parents?"
The boy did not answer her but instead glared at her. Alice then proceeded to read his mind. The boy's mind was filled with hatred for magical girls for killing his parents and he wanted her to just go away before he decided to kill her. Alice fought back a chuckle. The boy was just like her but his idea of trying to kill her was laughable. Seeing that her job was done, she left the siblings there not caring what they do the next. Alice then cancelled her transformation and used the grief seed on her soul gem. With her soul gem pure again, Alice decided to find
her next target.

"Now where to next?"
Wherever she go, she needed to be wary of the Authority since she heard they were on the move due to recent incident.

Personality: A girl who is very open-minded and fair. Initially, a girl who was filled with hatred and bend on revenge, she went back to her old self after a fateful encounter. Alice was a kind girl who disliked pointless violence, brutality and inequality among people which is why she is disgusted with the current situation in Aurora City. Despite supporting peace and co-existence, Alice is no public speaker and is a poor diplomat leading her to resort to actions she justifies as necessary. When passing judgement (aka killing), Alice usually does it swiftly if she believes her target to be too dangerous to be alive any longer. She rarely smiles and always has a cold calm expression on her face when transformed. When in civilian form, she is a little more relaxed and carefree but not much of a difference.
After her recent heroic breakdown, she becomes a little crazy and tends to laugh when seeing her target in despair/pain. She will also get a thrill in battle when her target tries to run away however she remains her calm self when facing a tough opponent.

Moreover, Shadow Compact members had almost found her a couple of times but she managed to evade them. There was no way she would join them as she did not want to be any part of the conflict. She began to ramble to herself about wanting peace back and the conflict to end.

After becoming a magical girl, Alice tried to promote peace discreetly but saw nobody keen on the idea. She tried and tried till she realized diplomacy was not the only way. In every peaceful community, there will always be people having to do dirty work behind the scenes.

Eventually, Alice's idea of a peaceful co-existence is when all the weeds (aka stubborn people) are killed. She tainted the soul gems of magical girls to claim grief seeds and also harshly treated the normal people to get her point across. She will have to aim her scythe at her target from above and shout "Close!" for the cage to activate and the bigger the cage, the more magic need to maintain. The cage saps away the captive's strength & a magical girl's magic powers. Alice will usually proceed to torture the captive with her scythe.
2)Mind Reading: Alice needs to be focused and standing still in order to use it.

-Kuraodo: A katana given to Momoe by her grandfather.
-Cloud Bosoushoku Techs: Momoe learns to use Cloud Flames to increase her arm strength, leg strength and durability.
-Omoiken: A powerful but very heavy katana which requires Momoe to use Cloud Flames to wield. Its weight is that of a regular katana if kept in its sheath.
-Box Weapons: Nuvola Ombrello Arena & Nube Arma Gravitas. The Cloud Umbrella Arena and Cloud Weapon Gravitas. The former is an umbrella which grows in size by absorbing flames and acts a shield. It can be thrown into the sky and forms a barrier size depending on its diameter. The maximum duration at its largest size is 30 mins while minimum is 1 min.
The Gravitas is a black katana based on Omoiken which was so heavy but powerful it requires her Cloud Flame to wield it. Gravitas is basically that sword without the excess weight.

(Future)
-Momo Rumble-Style: Same as the present but now formally trained in certain martial arts which are mixed into her style. Slow reaction time problem is partially dealt with. Reduced reliance on endurance a bit due to improved agility and speed.
-Cloud Bosoushoku Techs: Future Momoe is able to increase her arm/leg strength and body durability using Cloud Flames.
-Uzuki Sword-Style: Ittoryu and Nitoryu. Though she usually uses only one katana in battle.
-Box Weapons: ???

Personality: A girl who loves fighting as a sport and fights only to improve herself...however when needed, she will fatally injure (or kill if told to) her opponent. Despite being an only child, Momoe is a very independent young girl who hates relying on others and does what she wants. She is very hardworking and diligent when it comes to her training however she tends to ignore her academic studies. Momoe at times can be seen as brave however she is actually just very reckless (and sometimes crazy) as she will fight just about anyone even if the individual is a whole lot stronger than her. She has a problem with her reaction time being too slow in battle. Due to those two factors, she turned to improving her endurance.
Even though she usually displays a friendly exterior, Momoe is really awkward with others as she is bad at making friends due to her hobbies and obsession with her training. She will shy away from others if there are too many people as she is not good with crowds or will usually observe from afar wishing she could join them.
However, if her allies are in trouble, you can count on her to come to help.

Future Momoe is less reckless and more level-headed than her younger self. However, she still feels excitement when fighting and seems to be still awkward when talking with people outside of battle. She seems to have improved on her reaction time.

History: To give a quick summary, Momoe was a loner due to her personality and her hobbies thus she pretty much was all alone during her childhood which she spends most of her time training with her father and grandfather. One day, Momoe found out her family were acquainted with the Vongola Famiglia and decided to meet them to test herself and have some fun. Her father was against the idea but her grandfather was not. He provided information for Momoe and even wanted to give her his own sword but Momoe refused as she felt she was not ready and father would get mad. In the end, she rushed off to meet the next Vongola Head in-the-making with her father yelling at her to come back. Life is about to get more fun!

Other: She likes to fight and train, also sports. She dislikes fish, doing chores and games that require you to think a lot. Her hobby is training and more training!
