My guy, I thought I was a crackhead, but jesus you're on a whole 'nother level of crackheadness.
Nikolaus was born within the city of Vienna in 1459. His parents moved out to the forested highlands of the Vienna Woods when he was just a toddler, barely learning how to walk at the time. Being raised within the Northeastern Foothills, he learned how to hunt and fish at a young age. He learned skills needed to live within the forests such as archery, skinning, how to hide within the forest, and tracking his prey amongst other things. At his mid-teens, there was a hunting accident that costed his father's life, and severely injured his left knee. Crawling and limping on his back to the home, he would eventually reach his destination and come home to his mother. With Nikolaus, was his father's corpse whom he had dragged back with a sled. They set out for a nearby town where they had got care for his injuries from a local physician. Though, the care was only enough to treat it temporarily and to numb the pain with poppy seed. It eventually came to where they had to set out to Vienna once more, where he had fallen into bad habits within the next decades of his lives and his mother passed from illness; while he succumbed to addiction, he eventually killed for it, and had to yet again leave the city to the nearby forests. Yet, out in those forests... he had his fate with steel and blood, falling into the snow. The white around him slowly turned into the crimson mirror, a reflection of a broken huntsman staring back at him when his crystal blue eyes gazed into the red. He drew his last breath, only to eventually reawaken into the purgatory and hell that had fallen upon the world.
Nikolaus found that his addiction and want was great for the 'Milk of The Poppy', practically lusting for it. That lust and gluttony with the substance, would lead to his eventual wrath. Anger. Not only did he kill in order to get more of the opium. But he also killed those who held it out of anger, for creating and causing him to have such a need. For making him 'weak'.
Past addiction to Opium and can easily fall back into the habit. Temptation.
Scarred appearance. (Half of his body is burned, creating a rather grotesque and deformed sight. Disgusted, untrusting, and negative reactions from others are quite normal for him.)
Injured knee. (Caused by the hunting accident that costed his father's life, he has had to adapt due to the mauling of his knee. It limits his maneuvering and speed, such as mantling or sprinting. It is also a rather weak spot for him, taking a hit or two in the knee can severely injure Nikloaus.)
Past of violence haunts his dreams and waking nightmatres. (He essentially daydreams and has episodes, seeing those who from his past haunting him, and it seems all so very real. Vivid even. To the point where he can't separate nightmare from reality and often not, it will detach him from reality. If a guard from the nightmare stabs him or something similar, he will FEEL it happen, and sometimes his body will have a reaction. Shock of sort, due to his mind not being able to separate reality and fiction.)
Skilled knowledge in ranged and small arm melee weaponry. (Bows, longbows, and crossbows would account for his knowledge in ranged weaponry. Smaller blades such as swords and daggers account for the melee weaponry. Sometimes the occassional hatchet but most of his skill relies on the ranged.)
Talented tracker and hunter. (If it leaves a physical mark, print, blood, et cetera--he can track it. He grew up learning how to track and find prey in the woods, along with anyone who may have gotten lost. Most of his skill is in tracking animals, but realistically, it can probably be applied to anything that leaves that physical mark.)

Okay, sorry about the delay. IRL got really hectic there for a while and I just kind of got a break lol. Just posting this for one last review and then I'll stick it into the character tab. I had to make new links for the headers in order to fix it, because they were still broken on your original post, even when you remove the punctuation. @Poet
