Tsukai was just seconds from wringing Shikkaru's neck because of his snide comment in front of the jonin and Hokage. But all he could do was crack a hidden grin and pretend to ignore him. Once the rest of the kids came in they all started introducing themselves following suit. This made Tsukai smile, he liked when others followed his lead, then it occurred to him that they would have introduced themselves regardless of if he had or not which was kind of a buzzkill. He Watched Shikkaru and Mai introduce themselves, once it was Shimura's turn, she actually mispronounced her own name. Tsukai gave an audible laugh but then immediately silencing himself. That was both rude and unprofessional. He scolded himself under his breath.
"Well Im going to have to sincerely apologize later..." While still semi-distracted he almost missed the next introduction, The kid that is always distant, come to think of it he didn't even remember seeing him on his way in. Looks like he graduated after all. Once hearing his introduction Tsukai had a hard time not turning around and staring at him in disbelief. He couldn't fathom someone being so rude while addressing the Hokage. Tsukai defiantly wasn't on good terms with that kid. However hearing the Hokage's son introduce himself to his own father was enough to ease Tsukai back into a happier mood.
With all the introductions be over with the Hokage stood suddenly and addressed them all, blowing Tsukai away with informality.
"Call him whatever we want? Someone is going to make him eat those words..." He congratulated all of them on graduating which in response Tsukai bowed his head. Then listened intently to the rest of what the Hokage had to say. It was as if he was trying to scare them, But Tsukai had no fear. He was born ready for this. He had always wanted to be a great powerful ninja that no one could oppose. But before getting sucked into a day dream about what he would become the Hokage flipped open a small box on his desk that exposed the Leaf Shinobi Signature Headbands. Tsukai's eyes lit up, He stared without regret, He had wanted his headband for as long as he could remember. He must have looked kind of silly if it was even noticeable, But he didn't care. The Hokage walked to him first and offered the headband with an extended arm. Tsukai took the offering with a small bow and proceeded to hold the headband in almost shock. Once everyone had gotten one they were told they could wear them however they chose. Tsukai immediately tied his around his forehead. Right after, they were already onto putting the kids into squads. Shikkaru, Shimura, and that kid Tsukai was now committed to disliking were all on the Hokage's team. Tsukai was a bit peeved hearing that Keizo would be working with the Hokage and not himself, but he didn't let it bother him too much. With that team being announced that left himself, Mai, and None other than the Hokage's kid in a squad. He grouped up with them and introduced himself politely, Sharing a few words of greeting before turning to the Hokage.
"Excuse me, Lord Hokage, I must have missed my Squad number~ Could you tell us what it was again?" His question went unattended because shortly after it had left his mouth another jonin walking into the room, joking with the Hokage about his kindness offering the kids refreshments. He stood there looking at the three of them rubbing his neck making a comment about how we would be 'Such a team' which made Tsukai's pride swell. After having him introduce himself Tsukai approached him and stood as tall as he could.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Matsuo Sensei. Im Tsukai Uchiha."
