Cielo was strolling through the forest, enjoying her peaceful surroundings, when a scream resounded. She ran towards the source of the sound, and paused to look around where it may have came from. Hmm? There's nothing here-

She walked around cautiously, looking around carefully to make sure she didn't miss anything, and then she noticed an odd shadow linger over her head. Cielo looked up, her eyes widening when she saw a body descending right above her. In a flurry, she held out her arms to catch the person, when a magic circle appeared around her wrist and she looked down to find her bracelet glowing. From the magic circle spawned a small blue, round creature. What is-

"Oof!" Cielo grunted when she felt a weight land on top of her, and she realized that she probably cushioned the falling person's fall. Looking down, she noticed the blue creature squished in between them with the funniest face she had ever seen, and let out laugh. "Ahahaha! Oh god, a-are you okay?"

The creature, her summon, somehow managed to wriggle out from underneath the body on top of her and Cielo swore she heard a pop sound. Patting the cute round creature's head with her free hand, Cielo directed her attention towards the girl who was still on top of her. "So, uhh... you gonna get off soon?"
Sorry, I didn't want to have both of my characters spawn in the forest. xD Something different.

Besides, she's having the time of her life right now. /sarcasm
"No, I-... T-That's okay..." Andra muttered, fiddling with her long sleeves. She directed her gaze to the ground, troubled. If none of them spoke up, it would be awkward, and she felt obligated to say at least a few words. She could ask the girl if she was okay, since she was in the infirmary the last time they met, but Andra was having difficulty voicing it out. She continued fiddling with her sleeves, before taking a deep breath and shyly asking, "A-Are you, uh... okay... now? You- You were h-hurt earlier..."
Andra had no time to react before she was hit with the force of a bullet train (maybe an exaggeration, but it sure felt like it) and was sent rolling far away from where she once stood. Ow... What on earth...?

She pushed herself up, and was about to try and figure out what exactly hit her when she registered a female voice yelling at her. Yelping, Andra backed away from the girl on top of her and immediately apologized, "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to get in your way... Really..." Tears prickled at the corner of her eyes as she stood up, and bowed to the girl she blocked. Andra fearfully raised her head, and was surprised to find that it was the orange-haired girl from earlier in the infirmary.
Right after signing up, Eirhiun returned to her room in the tavern. She planned to spend the rest of the day preparing for the adventure, and was already getting ready to synthesize for hours on end. She smiled at Chip, who helped bring over her materials, "Thanks, Chip."

He chirped, and Eirhiun gave a small laugh. "Have you been a bird for so long you forgot you can speak?" she joked, before adding in a more repentant tone, "...Sorry."

Chip stared at her for a second before a deep voice that only Eirhiun could hear rang in her head. "I suppose I have engrossed myself into my role far too much as of late. It is not your fault."

"...I'll make it up to you. You'll get to fight lots this time around," Eirhiun said with a smile, before walking over to the cauldron and stirring stick she snuck into the tavern.

How?

...Alchemy was a wondrous thing.

That's why she was grateful none of her syntheses ended in failure so far- compensating for property damage because of an explosion was something Eirhiun wanted to avoid, even if she had the cash. And if they dared to try and confiscate the cauldron and stirring stick she was given by her parents, she would sacrifice every single coin she had on her. If that didn't work, blood would be shed. ...Maybe that's a bit too much. Putting an end to her darkening thoughts, Eirhiun resumed her synthesis.

At first the two of them chatted to their heart's content, but a silence soon fell as Eirhiun began to focus on her work, striving to craft the highest quality and strongest she had ever synthesized. She was mindful to take breaks every once a while, but continued to work hard with the goal of filling her backpack to the brim- well, not exactly, since it was a backpack made from alchemy, so just until there was no more inventory space.
Funny. I was just looking around for a screenshot of Pyrrha when she says "Hello again!" so I could use it to respond to this:

No matter how hard she tried, Andra couldn't sleep- not for a long time, at least. After only resting for a few minutes, she found herself wide-awake in bed, her sleepiness completely gone. Pushing herself up, she climbed out of bed and, rather than having the suit dress her into her usual clothing, changed into a comfortable, loose hoodie and a pair of shorts. She stretched to eliminate any lingering grogginess and exited her room, but not before grabbing her Titan Cores from a bedside table and attaching them to her belt.

Once again, Andra found herself walking through the halls. They were actually fairly quiet for once, thought it was probably because most people were in their rooms or off fighting somewhere farther away. What to do... Maybe I can find someone to fight? There's hardly anyone here though...

She began to aimlessly walk around the school grounds, hoping to find an opponent.
Sorry! I was going to post earlier, but then I made the mistake of continuing my Atelier Escha & Logy game... In fact, I'm only on because I'm stuck on a boss. xD I'll work on a post right now.
Once again being reminded of the possibility of death, Eirhi took a moment to ponder on her decision while most of the other people in the tavern rushed to have their names written on the list. She would wait for the crowd to die down a little, if she were to join.

Amidst the noise, Eirhi caught the barely inaudible sound of wings flapping and turned to find Chip flying towards her. The little bird landed on her shoulder, and she decided to get his opinion. "Chip, what do you think? Do you wanna go?"

The bird expressed its eagerness, raring to go for some excitement and break away from their mundane life. Eirhi smiled, and stood up from her seat, "Guess that's it then!"

Once there was enough space in the crowd for her to actually see the crusader who had made the speech, Eirhi waited until she was at the front and cheerfully said with a smile, "Eirhiun Winslet, or Eirhi for short! Travelling alchemist with my partner, Chip!" Eirhi raised her hat, gesturing towards the fluffy white bird who returned himself to his favorite spot on her head.
