Doing alright?
@Necrophage I'll get another post in some time tomorrow.
Updated Heather's CS to include an example of what her voice sounds like.
Heather

As with the others Heather was approached by Dr. David Peterson in her cell. In order to control her powers she was isolated from all technology except for a simple computer used to house her consciousness. It had no moving parts and had a camera, microphone, and a set of speakers for communication. That doesn't mean that they didn't run experiments though. Having been locked up for most of a year she had agreed to assist with projects. In particular her existing in a completely digital form meant she could get up close and personal with coding. As new computer viruses were made the computer she was in was infected and she would crush them, providing solutions to combat them extremely quickly. So while unable to move or do much she'd already shown a willingness to cooperate. That was perhaps part of the reason she was selected. Being able to escape to the Internet meant that once she was let free from the confines of this room she could disappear.

Of course the woman had a genuine mind to turn over a new leaf. She had already tried the villain motif and did not find satisfaction. David's conversation with her was probably different though. Because unlike the other Gifted, Heather did not have a biological mind to read. It was probably the most normal conversation he had in some time, not knowing what the other would say.

And thus she was put on the jet with the others. The other Gifted wouldn't know that though because she had no body so to everyone else the computer brought onboard was just a piece of equipment. Her previous body she had to abandon and, as was her method of keeping other's hands off her tech, it self destructed. So as part of the agreement she would be provided raw tech with which to construct a new body. While she provided a long list she sadly only received what they thought was the minimum for her to operate.

Whist the others were testing out their powers the cyberkinetic busied herself making a new body aboard the jet. Her previous forms were decidedly less human and more functional. While she could just as easily do that again it felt a whole lot less... personable. If she wanted to be a hero then she should at the very least have a body that looked human like. There were a lot of features that she felt were unneeded though.

The parts in the jet began to float around and blow apart into their base components. Bit by bit she rearranged the electronics and molded them to her needs. As the pieces came together the robotic form of a human began to take shape. Starting from scratch like this meant it took most of the early portion of the time but eventually it all came together. Uploading to her new body Heather came online and ran diagnostics. All systems checked green and she was ready to join the others.

One of David's men greeted her as she exited the jet. "Glad you could join us, Ms. Tonbel. David is not here to introduce you but I can lead you to where several of the others are." Nodding the robotic woman followed the man to what was apparently the kitchen. While she had no need for food there was still the opportunity for interaction. Not that she particularly was keen on befriending everyone. However if they were going to work together it would be better to be on their good side. Stepping past her escort she spoke with a clearly robotic voice. "Sorry for the delay. David didn't think it a good idea for me to introduce myself without looking a little more familiar."

There was no real good way to break the awkward moment without it being more awkward. It was almost exhilarating to feel something other than stoic for a change though. The moment passed quickly and she advanced toward everyone. "I should probably introduce myself. My name is Heather Tonbel. I was captured about a year ago so I've been out of the public eye for a while."
PM sent and all

Now to go back to work on my big-ass post.

Today is the break day IC, right?

Yes it is the break day.
Name: Heather Tonbel

Appearance:

Age: 24 (now irrelevant)

Power(s): Cyberkinesis. All the below requires close proximity to use. She cannot manipulate technology outside of three yards.
- Technopathy: The ability to communicate with and control machines.
- Technokinesis: The ability to manipulate technology by deconstructing and constructing parts into new mechanisms.
- Programming: Able to program and reprogram systems.
- Mechanical Body: Provides both strength and durability. Sensors server as her eyes and ears all around her at varying spectrums. Her powers make room for future upgrades.

Personality: Cold would describe her personality most of the time. Her experiences have not led her to seek other's company much. No longer having a biological body she has to actually put forth effort to feel anything.

Bio: Average would be a good description for Heather prior to the blast of radiation changed her life. Or perhaps more accurately ended it. She was a secretary for a large firm. That meant she did many of the odd jobs that everyone else didn't want to do. Nothing spectacular. This was the kind of work she was doing when the wave passed over the world. For many that turned out to be "special" it meant they got powers and abilities. In the case of Heather it meant her brain was fried in a matter of minutes. Dropped to the ground she was pronounced dead shortly after paramedics arrived.

So what happened to Heather? Her ability converted her mind and soul into digital information. Moments before death she uploaded herself onto a nearby computer. That didn't have nearly the power needed to allow her to think so unbeknownst to her or anyone else she began to bounce around from one machine to another trying to find a "home". Eventually finding a data center with enough processing power Heather became aware again. Compeltely without form her only connection to the outside was through the Internet. Information streamed in and she consumed it like a sponge, learning at a furious pace. Much of the information was useless and has since been purged.

However public knowledge began to get boring and she began to reach out to try and do more. When moving to a location she found that she could physically manipulate technology in the area. Things like cameras and drones were some of the first she used, bringing them to life on a whim. After more than one occasion crashing something she discovered the ability to pull apart and construct various mechanical systems. This lead to her first thoughts about creating a new body for herself. But first she would need to find something powerful enough. Starting with some of the more prominent tech companies she began to steal bits and pieces. It was a slow process without a body but eventually she made a pretty basic body that would walk on two legs. But that wasn't enough.

Moving up, one after another she toppled high level firewalls to gain access to top tier technology and research. Taking control of experimental robots she deconstructed and rebuilt them, upgrading them in the process. Slowly but surely she found and moved some of pieces she would need to accomplish her goal. This second body had what she needed to move out of the web and into a single unit. Free to move about the process of upgrading became much easier. But by now she'd found herself bored with simply improving. She missed the rush and emotions she used to have as a living being. So what does one do then? Become a thrill seeker. And in that time for her kind that meant going to villany. Not like she hadn't already been breaking laws all the time. The ghost in the system became a high value target as she began to wreak havoc for sport. She was an incredibly hard one to capture as she could bail out of the system she was in and vanish to who knows where, leaving a shell rigged to explode. Can't run forever though and she was captured and the digital menace put into storage away from any tech as a way out.

Theme:

Other: Her voice is similar to the Adjutant from Starcraft II.
@t2wave

my ability is yours but more betterer

still different enough to work in the same RP though

Yeah I started making the character but had missed the split consciousness ability of yours. But I figured mine was focused enough that they aren't really the same thing. Heather relies entirely on her ability to function.

Hm, if I can think of a good character I may join in since it sounds like there is space.
@Necrophage I can see that.

Quickly, runaway character development while everyone is tied up. :P
