Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

Bio

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

My method is a little different though no doubt it would have been utilized by many a writer whether they've been aware of it or not. I think in a very rpg style. That means that I mentally assign a set of attributes to each character as well as a corresponding numerical value to each of the attributes on a scale from one to a hundred. These scales and their assigned values dictate how the character reacts to not only the circumstances in which they find themselves but the world itself. Of course I create a detailed backstory that somewhat explains the distribution of the numerical values on the various stats within each character, though I do like to leave an air of mystery.

Let's say that character A is talking to character B. The former has a lower charisma rating than the latter but a higher wisdom rating. You can see the dynamic that will form between these two hypothetical characters already. The former can very well be a nerdy shy type who can be genuinely nice as well as a fountain for sage advice. The latter can be likable but perhaps a little too self-righteous. It's almost like the characters write themselves.

"Whoa, ok!" replied Chet to the bewildered Slick.

Judging by all the ruckus that was going on, it seemed that the Slicks were trying really hard to project a tough and intimidating image. The only thing intimidating to Chet about the Slicks was how they outnumbered the Turbos in the clearing of Lovers Haven. Chet could almost laugh at how unintimidating they were. He saw not a single one that he couldn't beat in a fight. Hell, Chet surmised that he could probably take five on at a time without much effort. Nevertheless, he had the rest of his crew to deal with. They weren't brutally raised to be soldiers like Chet was. Individually their toughness only equated to about half of his own. And so Chet stood at the edge of the clearing of Lovers Haven, watching the buffoonery of the Slicks. He contemplated his next move.
