This battle didn't seem to going in their favor. The creature continued to block every blow that went its way, and yet, Lancer didn't falter the slightest bit. Once he had blocked the incoming spears that the monster had shot at her, he advised for her to hide in a safer place. Akane simply blinked in surprise. Didn't he want her to be close by so she could provide some help if he needed it? Then again... she should probably listen to him. He was more experienced when it came to battles and all. And yet, she couldn't help but feel a little useless. What if Lancer got seriously hurt, or worse?
Something told her that she was taking this a bit too seriously. Didn't Servants' lives revolve around fighting and fending off enemies? Akane watched Lancer for a moment more, hesitant, before turning tail and beginning to run to a safer area. Where could she hide? There wasn't much to hide in between or behind anymore. As her eyes quickly flicked over the area, she suddenly got an idea. Maybe she could hide above ground? There was a small shack nearby the destroyed construction site that had been spared from the roots' destruction. There was no way that he could grab her easily with a root or whatever if she wasn't on the ground, right? Right..?
Akane raced towards the shack, hearing the monster's words before he was too far away to listen to properly. Did he really plan on eating them if he defeated both of them? Well... she wasn't sure that neither her nor Lancer would taste that good. She leaped onto a garbage tank and jumped up, grabbing at the edge of the shack's tin roof as she pulled herself up to the flat surface. The dark-haired Master hid behind an external fan and pulled her satchel in front of her, opening it to look at the various sized jewels she had within the bag. She supposed she could throw one or two from up there if it came down to it.
Akane couldn't help but gaze adoringly at her Servant. He was so cool! She hadn't seen a full naginata being swung around like that before, and watching it in television and in video games was nothing like seeing it in real life. Lancer appeared more than ready to face anything that came his way. Even if she was a little anxious, she had to remain strong. Her fingers curled around her light jacket as she watched the first opponent arrive. What... was that? Was he really a Servant? He looked more like a demon or some summoned monster than a Caster or Berserker.
Either way, the two Servants spared no time to chat and instead launched themselves at each other. For a moment, she was sure that Lancer was going to get hit by one of the other male's attacks. Yet he dodged every single one of them, much to her surprise. Wow... that really is something. Akane thought, beginning to tremble with excitement once more. How someone could move that fast, she didn't know. All that she did know was that she was proud to have summoned such an agile Servant.
Lancer started to run towards the construction site, but the opponent tore it down with ease. Akane flinched slightly. Welp... there went their advantage. She didn't expect someone with that sort of power to arrive or be brash enough to tear down someone's work. No doubt that the people of the city were going to be suspicious now. Suddenly, the Servant launched spears at both Lancer and her, much to her surprise. Thankfully, she had been quick enough to jump away from the incoming objects, but not without skinning her knees. "Crap!" she spat, getting up from the ground and running for more cover. How had he known that she was there? Was it not that good of a hiding spot..?
Idk, maybe they used it just to give it a name in the post? Lancer didn't really call him Beast, it was just in the description. At least that's what I think.
