Name: Reynar Leingod
Titan's Name: Tiamat
Age: 32
Sex: Male
Ethnic: The Old North-Americas
Personality: Reynar is a somber man, who often looks the part of a poet pondering his next piece. He is not often enthusiastic about what others bring to him in conversation. He is, however, not silent either. He will talk, and he will often give his two-pieces on whatever is going on. Although his appearance wouldn't suggest it, Reynar is a well-intentioned and friendly young man. He warms up to people quickly, but doesn't necessarily become intimate quickly either. Reynar is also greedy, but not over coin or material wealth. He has a covetous mind, seeking knowledge. After everything shifted throughout his life and all humanity thought to be true crumbled, an unparalleled amount of information was born. One could even say what he could learn is still oozing from the womb of change. Reynar does not fear the scourge, but is instead almost infatuated with them. With how they came into their existence, and how everything else followed.
Titan’s Personality: Reynar's titan is groundlessly cowardly, and hates to be in a fight. The titan is also fussy, and enjoys nit-picking Reynars actions both in and outside of a stressful situation. The titan wishes simply to survive another day and, like Reynar, learn about the world. Unlike Reynar, however, the titan has a soft-spot for others of its kind, and will often force Reynar to act up in order to save them. Other then that, Reynar is the one who gets them into combat. The Titan has some maternal traits and when it isn't giving Reynar shit, it might end up try to give it advice or open his mind's eye to new views.
Motives/Goals: Reynar and the Titan both have the same motives, to survive and learn.
Backstory/History: Reynar's life before the scourge was nothing. Nothing as in, he was average in every way imaginable. He did track, he had a group of friends that was tight-knit, a girl he had the hots for, all of that jazz.
Average shit. Hell, even his 'quirks' were average. Nothing that made him stick out. He was nothing.
However, he didn't react normally when the scourge was born into this world. One could say that is when he truly took his first steps into extraordinary action began. While others ran, Reynar documented the scourge. He drew pictures, examined the corpses, watched them live. Watched them kill. Watched them dish out every kind of havoc imaginable, and he
loved it. Well, not the deaths of all his family and closest friends. Its not that he wasn't sad throughout this entire event, not at all, many a'nights he would spend himself crying to sleep. However, even when his life turned into a living hell, he couldn't help but bask in the magnificence of the most amazing threat he had ever seen.
As the scourge grew, Reynar eventually was taken to a shelter towards the northern antarctics. It was during this time that he was hit with a bolt of lightning. At first he was confused and scared, and then mystified. Struck by lightning and it didn't even leave a scratch; it actually left him a
sweet tattoo! Despite what happened marked the more interesting part of his life, it flew by Reynar like nothing else. He grew to learn about his Titan and others like him could say he even got along with it well. After he turned 18, Reynar would begin to explore the new world. Never taking notes, only reading new books and learning new languages, he traversed the strange land and did everything he could to make it a fun trip.
Skills: His memory is top-notch, and Reynar is a decent repairman. He can fix simple tools and machines with minimal effort, as well as pick out whats edible and what isn't in the wild.
Resonance: 70%
Powers: Reynar's body is extremely versatile. He can alter his limbs and body parts from regular arms and legs to tentacle conglomerates that can extend quite far, and can crush or bend metal with relative ease. He can also coat his altered body, or even just his regular one, with teeth that can suck out the blood of flesh it lacerates and uses it to heal himself. His body itself can take quite a beating, and upon impact become as strong as iron, and depending on what organs are involved in the hit, bones and skin can even reach steel level hardness. The more he alters his body with his powers, the more clams and barnacles begin to grow off of his body. Transformed limbs also give off light amounts of seawater.
Transformed Powers: At full size, the body he has can create any number of tentacle-constructs from the mouth that forms through the middle of its body. Like with his human powers, they can extend great distances and have
immense physical strength. However, unlike his human side he is able to give some of them crab-like claws at the end to tear and grab with. The giant mouth can also take inside organic material, and use it to fuel itself and regenerate. It's more stable body parts are quite durable, and can also heal extremely fast. The mouth, barnacles, clams, and other stationary under-water life that grows off its body can also produce high-volumes of seawater. In this form, Reynar can manipulate the seawater and use it to his will. Either to create high-pressure blasts or to create waterjects capable of cutting even the hardest of metals into two. And just for funsies, his actual arms are even stronger then the constructs that come form within his mouth, and his claws drain blood from enemy monsters and can use portions of it to heal his smaller wounds.
Equipment: Reynar carries a wallet with multiple currencies and thats about it.
Other: Think of His power-set and titan as a deep-sea hybrid of some Lovecraft deity mixed with a leech and some other random shit. It was designed to take a big fucking beating and make it out alive.
Potential strife(added this for my own sake): Reynar and Tiamat have a couple issues with each other's actions in combat, which can sometimes cause their resonance to go down. A couple examples of this is that Tiamat believes that eating anything while in titan form in organic is ok, and that so long as they and any others who matter make it out a couple sacrifices are ok. Reynar on the other hand hates civilian casualties, and also believes that eating people even if they are already dead is not something they should do so long as they can afford too, and that under normal circumstances they should only eat hostile/monster-type organic materials. Typically, although Reynar cares about his own survival more then most other's, his care and respect for both the living and his allies greatly outweigh Tiamat's value of them.
