"Shit... I'm out of cigarettes." Name: Arson "Fire-breather" LodernAge: 18Gender: MaleAppearance: Arson stands at 5'9" and weighs 130 pounds. He is rather thin and isn't all that muscular, mainly depending on his speed rather than his strength in fights. His hair is ash black and mainly unkempt while still retaining a strange flamboyancy. His eyes are two different colors, one pitch black and the other an alluring crimson. When preforming his eyes both become a dull black. He usually wears the same usual thing, nearly never washing his attire and smelling of ash and fire. Although he disregards and keeps his clothing unkempt like his hair, he manages to still be eye-catching... Not necessarily in the good way. Along with his dark tie, vest, shoes, fireproof dark brown gloves, and white collared shirt, he occasionally wears stolen hats that catch his interest and cannot be found without something sticking out of his mouth. Be it his tongue at people he is attempting to taunt or his favorite basic wooden pipe. He carries himself in a rather confident and positive manner, never slouching and always smiling. His grins are usually not comforting and seem to have a rather sadistic streak, usually smiling while either greeting an old friend or while manifesting the thought of incinerating what is left in the wreckage of what used to be a great world.Personality: Arson is a person once met, most people would like to forget or remember for the rest of their lives. He is an eccentric most of all, differing from nearly everyone you'll ever meet; be it because of his unkempt clothes or more likely because of the way he interacts with others. He is a rather quite person who grins a lot.... If you decided to only spin the flint wheel without creating the attainable divine flames. When actually communicated to, Arson is a rather zealous person. Happy to do what he does and always satisfied when his performances do well. A bit jumpy, he gives off a rather energetic enthusiasm with a small slightly contradicting touch of dark gloominess mixed together. A comical humorous being who enjoys makes people laugh and laughing himself. He is clever and charming, capable of quite a tongue lashing as well. Overall, he would seem like a happy energetic man who enjoys what he does and makes some rather vulgar dark comments occasionally. A bit of a wierdo but still great company. He doesn't seem to have a worry in the world and usually makes others feel just as good.
You finally spin the flint wheel and press the button creating the exquisite flame. When in combat or surrounded by fire, Arson's energy is replaced with lethargy. His jokes become more sinister than they were and lose their appeal, becoming rather gloomy and tragic. Those he considers friends may become the butts of said jokes if their fortunate. He becomes relatively calm until he quite noticeably shifts his moods and tones from chaotic and wretched to tranquil repeatedly. Most of all, his sadist streak shows itself, using his lighter and matches for rather destructive means. His pyrophilia becomes apparent during these occurrences. His intentions and purpose become rather clear when he is gifting other humans oil and matches. Ability:Pyrokinesis Arson is capable of creating and controlling fire with his mind. The flame can be created using his mind and an outside source is not required. The one downside is Arson himself is not fireproof... There is no limit to the fire that can be created but too much use , especially when the fire was created by his mind and not an outside source, weakens him.Biography: Life was rather good to Arson. He was born into the circus, his father was fire-eater/breather and his mother a skilled magician of sorts. He was born in quite a strange way, not screaming as if dead. Growing up he picked up different characteristics from each of his parents. His dad's humor, fascination with fire, and his old fire-eating torch. From his mother his sociability, enthusiastic outlook, and basic card tricks. Arson often times played with matches and lighters, occasionally burning himself but continuing to play after being harmed. This tendency to play with fire gradually evolved into him training with a torch. Soon he himself preformed at the age of 10 as some sort of kid fire breather, even at a young age he never ceased to amaze and impress people. He loved playing with his torch and entertaining those around him, it felt good to be able to entertain and please people. After many performances Arson was just as good as his father at a craft his father had much more experience with.
One night his father and mother had a small childish wager, they would switch performances. This bright idea came to them after a dispute over whose act was more impressive and difficult. Arsons father would have to break out of chains underwater, wear something showing lots of skin...., and appear to survive a hanging. His mother would have to do what fire breathers do... Needless to say, they were both terrible at eachother's act. One worse than the other. During the performance, his father was incapable of escaping the chains and nearly drowned before a few supervisors broke him out. Perhaps some kind of satisfaction swept over Arson's mother before her act was even more cataclysmic. The secret to doing what fire eaters do is simple, cut off the oxygen supply and the flames will go out. Just don't panic. Arson's mother had panicked and what happened next is quite tragically predictable. While both of Arson's parents had suffered, the one that lived would live in agony and torment for the rest of their life.
After the incident Arson's father became more of a downer and neglected Arson whenever he asked for help or advice. He had left the circus after no longer performing for a bit before going broke. Arson left the cheap apartment they inhabited and his more-dead-than-alive father to become a street preformer. Eventually one of the members of his audience one day handed him a letter. An invitation to the academy, he reluctantly accepted, who knows what could be lost if this place were to be burnt down?Other: He smokes and carries around some things in a small pack. These things include:
Sugar cubes, matches, a lighter, cigarettes, his pipe, tobacco, a more weapon-like firepoker that almost always hangs out of the bag, and a few newspapers on discussing the burnings of buildings. The most prominent thing is the presence of many sweets and candy inside of it though.
