"Se... bas... tian...?" I gently shake his shoulder. "Sebastian, are you okay?" I'm frantically glancing. "I'm here... Don't worry..." I bit my lip and shook a little harder, until he awoke.
I yawn and realize it's dark out. "How long was I asleep...?" I blink away the wonder, and walk into my room. I am obviously careful not to wake up Sebastian, and I get out a tee shirt and short shorts, just to be casual. I change, not bothered by the fact that he's in the room. I still feel quite a bit drowsy, but I can sustain going out to get food right now. I ride the carriage into town and my thoughts wander. I don't even realize the pain I'm in until I get out of the carriage. "Thanks, James." "You're welcome, Ms. Annabelle, but where is Sebastian?" "He's staying behind for now." James nodded. "Do you want me to stay here and wait?" "You can go off and do whatever. Just be back in about an hour." I walk off and buy the items we needed, and, right on schedule, we both get back to the carriage. I set the bags and baskets into the back of the carriage and enter the seating area. I notice the pain and flinch, still. I have nothing to think about now. When I get back to the mansion, I feel like I could crash down at any moment. "James... Carry in the food and other... things..." I yawn, and trudge into the main room of my mansion. I make it (somehow) to my bedroom and crash onto the bed, slightly in pain, but mostly in drowsiness. I notice that I shook the bed as I did so. I felt my heart rate increase.
