She couldn't see anything.

Even with her eyes open wider than the Grand Canyon, Aika Saito couldn't see a bloody thing. Just infinite black. When it registered to her eyes that they weren't seeing anything besides absolute black, she tried to sit up straight. To find that she was strapped down! This was where the fear officially began setting in. All she knew was that she was on this table, strapped down and unable to see anything. Needless to say, for a fearful girl like Aika, it was quite the frightening experience. Last thing she remembered, she was walking home from school one evening, then suddenly, blackness. Fast-forward to now...whenever "now" was, and she found herself here, strapped down and blinded. And hearing a sound. Something above her. Sounded like breathing. If this wasn't a scenario she'd seen her father write a few times before...

Of course, experiencing anything from one of her father's books was bound to spook the girl. Her plan was to cry out for help...to find that her mouth, too, was held in place by these merciless cables. Now she was really freaking out, squirming and struggling in her bindings in an attempt to get free from the seeing nothing, the being strapped down, and whatever the hell was above her, breathing. This was not one of the ways she wanted to die!

“….zz…z…wel…..Well, there we go! See, that didn’t take too long, did it? Ah, hello there everyone! Welcome to Greeneburg! Maybe you’ve heard of the place? Anyway, I’m the boss of this fine establishment. I, hope everyone’s had a good nap, yes? Now, you all may be wondering the same thing. Or, at least, that's what you’re supposed to do…why, oh why did big bad Jabberwocky kidnap me like such a cruel person? Well for one thing, I’m actually a pretty cool guy. Don’t you hear them? The people love me! So why are you all here? Well…hmmm….I could tell you that this is all fake and these are just really, really, really good actors…but that’s false advertising and I have a honest image to keep. No, I think it’s best you not know. Don’t wanna cook your brains too much on day one. Oh! That reminds me: you’ve been a very naughty boy Mister Hatter. Bad dog, turning off the power like that. Guess it was smart of me to have just enough juice for the intercom, right? Hey, Chi-chan? I know you can hear me, so please be sure to keep one of them alive. Pretty please? Well, I better sit back and wait for you all then! Because, surely, you all hate me for putting you all in this, right? Right? So why, you ask, am I even bothering you all in the first place? It’s actually, um….how do I put this….basically, you’re all fucked to begin with. Yeah, sounds about right…well, bye bye for now!”

KEEP ONE OF THEM ALIVE!? FUCKED TO BEGIN WITH!? Now Aika was legitimately screaming under her cable bindings. Of course, she was muffled; nobody would have been able to hear her anyway. Struggling and screaming like a fly may have whilst trapped in an approaching spider's web. What was above her? Who was Chi-chan? How were they planning to kill Aika? Her mind was going a mile per second in bringing wild delusions on the twisted things that this Jabberwocky person could have been planning to do to her. And who was Mister Hatter? There was no power here? That could have accounted for Aika's inability to see anything. But at present, her biggest concerns were threefold.

How to escape these bindings?

What was above her?

When would it be her turn to be killed?
I'm working on an intro post now.

You seem to enjoy filling your horror hallways with violin music, don't you Windel?
I remain iffy about Intervention. If it were just during your turn that'd be one thing, but as it is this thing outright murders all the meta decks I already crippled, and gives plenty others a tough time too.
Scarifar said Oh yeah, Unending, how are the duels going to work in terms of the Life Points and field spells and the "no drawing on first turn"?

We'll be playing by the good ole TCG rules. Start with 8000LP, the first player doesn't draw on their first Draw Phase, and each player can have a field spell active.

Now then, I'm gonna finish up Aislin's half-finished CS, set up a list of accepted characters in the main post, then hopefully, get started on an IC.
I do like Spellbooks/Prophecies (and I especially like that you thought to bring synchros to the archetype), but I'll have to regrettably turn Takuya down for reasons.

Keyblade's CS did remind me, though, that I'd just like a quick roll call of which characters are in Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, or Obelisk Blue. This won't have any real effect IC, but it's good to know these things. Once I have the the entire cast thus far accounted for and in a hider on the main post, I'll get started on the IC.

EDIT: I forgot to bring in my characters. I need sleep.
EDIT2: Seems I forgot to finish Aislin's personality. However, I don't even think my brain is functioning right now, so I'll wrap that up tomorrow =_=

But you've also got some powerful search shenanigans going on too, so it'd be rarer for you not to have one.
I'll be watching how it operates early-game, and if it comes down to it, I may have to ask you to remove it down the line for balance's sake.

EDIT: Yeah, now I remember why I wasn't permitting Necloths. Right-o Not-Gishkis, back to the "nope" list for ya!
Embarrassingly, I couldn't draw up anything for Phalanx or Blackhawk. Don't want too much happening right from the get-go, y'know?
Today was as peaceful a day as any in Greenfield. That is to say, not a particularly peaceful one. What with all these supervillains running around town, it was a necessity that so many superheroes converge here. Among them, Necrohead. The risen zombie of an evil necromancer who went good and even joined the International Forces of Justice. Which was how she'd heard about this place to begin with.

The only thing about Necrohead was that she was rarely - if ever - the first hero to arrive at the scene. She'd heard there was a bank robbery going on and that Burnout - a supervillain with the power to create explosions - was the one behind it. Necrohead's line of thought was simple. Explosions killed people. Zombies were pretty freakin' hard to kill. So she'd be fine. But now that she was stepping up to the bank, she saw a set of heroic hands already dealing with the grunts at the door. They were armed. Guns also killed humans, right? For all the lead Necrohead had taken in her life, she never really deemed guns to be fatal or anything. Though to be fair, a zombie and a human would probably have very different definitions of what was and wasn't fatal.

Best to help the girl out. Stepping in and putting her back to that of the other hero, showing absolutely no concern for the guns, Necrohead said "Which would you rather deal with, the grunts or the mastermind?" She was confident in her ability to eat up those bullets like the were just a minor pain, but is it was Burnout, she wondered how well this other girl could deal with explosions.
Stop hooking up with fish people, Windel. Did you forget humans don't have gills? You two can never be.
