I should have something come Monday.
sounds like you've got a pretty interesting life to lead there :)

Welcome to RPG, though. Here's hoping you find something interesting on the forums. If you don't, feel free to bounce some ideas of your own around; I'm sure you'll find somebody's interested :)
Jivusa said Also, hi Unending˜! Remember me?

I never forget someone I've RP'd with...that said, the same doesn't necessarily apply to the RPs themselves ^_^;
~Phalanx~

"Now that that's over with," Phalanx said, eyes dead-set on the other armored knight present. "We can settle things without distraction. My name is Phalanx, leader of the White Knights and guardian to the honor and legends of King Arthur Pendragon. Whether you're truly him or not, I must defeat you here." Of course, Phalanx had her doubts that this knight was the legendary King that she herself was said to have descended from.

This fight would provide her with all the answers she needed, though. Readying her sword and shield, Phalanx faced her opponent-to-be. She had to be cautious. If this was King Arthur, the fight would be far from easy - if even possible - for her to win. But being unable to defeat King Arthur meant there were others she couldn't defeat. Being unable to defeat King Arthur meant that there was no way Phalanx could reach her ultimate goals.
~Blackhawk~

Just as I thought. This place is crawling with freaks. Armed to the teeth as always, Blackhawk took a good look around from her rooftop location, and oh the sights she could see. Plenty of superhumans; plenty of targets. But where to strike first?

From where she was perched, she could see one set of two. One looked normal enough, maybe barring that shield he carried around. The other looked like nothing more than a child, though. Blackhawk wouldn't be so easily fooled; assuming she was indeed ever with the Blackhawk Squadron, she'd been trained to identify superhumans on sight. Maybe it was legitimate training, or maybe it was just instinct. The fact that she'd seen what that child was capable of just moments before may have helped tip her off, too. Or her very obvious attire. In either case, her gut was what she trusted, and so...

Loading a smoke grenade into her launcher, Blackhawk aimed. No guarantee she'd land the thing directly between the two from this distance, but it was worth a shot...no pun intended. Ensuring her aim was at least in the right general direction, Blackhawk fired. Just a smoke grenade, though. She tried to save the explosives, and there was no way she'd be able to shoot them from here with a pistol or rifle.
2:55! If Akiko didn't step on it, she'd be late, she told herself! The fun-sized musician - as per the usual - dressed warm, despite it not quite being wintertime yet. It was coming, though. That was a truth she dreaded...but this wasn't a time for dread! This was a time for meeting new friends, and getting to that anime club! Tightening the gloves on her hands, Akiko made her way through the hallway, checking the number over each door. She was still new here, and getting lost was a surefire way to run late; not something she wanted.

In due time, she finally found it. Reaching for and opening the door, Akiko stepped in, shutting the door behind her. There were already others here too, it seemed. Two boys, two girls, excluding Akiko. Neat. That meant that Akiko wasn't the only one interested. And the club room even had a kotatsu! Bonus points! Akiko liked this place already. Facing the other club members, she spoke up to introduce herself. The Kansai accent was strong with this one.

"I'm Akiko Kobayashi; here t'join y'all's anime club! I'm not runnin' late, am I?"
KabenSaal said Maybe throw an apple at Priscilla

Have fun with that.
I'll have a post up tomorrow. I also won't be available Sunday, since libraries like to be closed on Sunday around here.

stupid policies are stupid :(
Should I take you off the list? :(
If you don't mind ruining friendships, Mario Party is - as the name subtly implies - a party game. Granted, you win by being the supreme asshole on the playing board, but if you and your friends are drinking, it's just drunken fun :)
(this from somebody who does not, has not, and has no intention to, consume alcohol)

Barring the above and the aforementioned Just Dance and Rock Band, there are actually quite a few games on Nintendo consoles that go well with parties. Mario Kart would be fun to watch drunk people play, but only if they're not the kind of people who will play a game while drunk then go "I'm gonna go do that for real now!" That's how drunk drivers die, so please prevent that to the best of your abilities. Another good one is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and later in the year, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U may also be good for parties. I know the former has a rotation mode specifically meant for when you've got a lot of people playing, but am unsure if SSB4 will have this feature on Wii U.

Sadly, I don't go to parties, so the best I can do is offer up some games that would be good for them.
