Kudos if you get it.
Here's that helping hand I mentioned.

So yeah, here's a good idea. Let's make a scary monster that can ONLY take orders from an 11-year-old, whose very existence goes against the beliefs of our second-most-powerful vampire, and who also acts as a convenient cleanup crew for fully-drained bodies. I'm totally not friendshipping Karina/687 in my headcanon right now
~Priscilla the Ancient~

"Wise as always, Priscilla-dono. Although...I'm not really keen on turning the Hunters to our side. First of all, a hunter that was turned into a vampire would always place his former life above his nocturnal life. We'll never know that, perhaps, they might even use the new vampiric powers to fight us. An army of Black Swords is bad enough, but an army of vampiric Black Swords is apocalyptic. These Black Swords are fiercely loyal even in death, that they might see their vampirism as a new and better way to support the humans from the shadows."

Kuro had much to say on this decision. But there was one thing Priscilla felt had to be corrected. "Indeed, these hunters should not join our ranks as vampires. But when ever did I say we would turn them into vampires?" To make her point clear, Priscilla's eye shifted over toward a nearby animal. She had no care to identify the little guy. All she cared was to move at it at inhuman speeds and crush its skull completely, killing it on the spot. Then, from the hand carrying it, a faint red light began to glow.

When Priscilla released the fuzzy little guy from her hand, it was standing as though it were perfectly fine. Granted, its head was still crushed like a walnut, but it otherwise looked like Priscilla hadn't even touched it. Pointing at the undead critter, the Skull Quen said "This shall be the fate of those Black Swords who oppose us. In life they shall attempt to kill us. In death, they shall succeed in killing their allies." Alas, it seemed Kuro had left soon enough to miss this little display. No matter. He'd find out soon enough...
~Hisako Saito~

Hisako waited patiently enough for Greyson to do what had to be done. Drinking blood was a natural part of vampirism, after all. She was just glad that, unlike the kid, Greyson accepted that. Today had been quite the day indeed. A bunch of vampires arriving, one of them an Ancient no less. Yes, quite the day indeed...

When Greyson returned, the everlasting over-self-assuring grin appeared once more on Hisako's face. "Looks like you're all healed up and ready for action. We just have to go find the Russian then the team's ready to go." It was unforgivable that vampires had been reduced to this; having to team up to go hunt humans because the threat of hunters was very real. Were it not her first and second priority to take care of herself first, Hisako would probably be among the vampires that took the fight to the hunters. Of course, if she'd done that, this shelter wouldn't be a thing.
still hate double posting, but a bit of an RP announcement. Anybody who was interested in making a hunter character (which, iirc, was all of you) should get started on that now if you haven't already. I've left a slightly-modified version of the CS in this post for hunters, so feel free to start filling out and submitting yours :)

Once I finish up my post (which should be in the next fifteen minutes or so), I'll be submitting a character meant to give the vampires a small helping hand without actually being a vampire or human. I'm also doing this because I don't want to submit a hunter, because it's more threatening when you know you outnumber you foes and know they can still kick your ass.
I'll get to work on mine tomorrow. It's late here and I've gotten addicted to watching the trio of desktop mascots I got today. Foxy, get down from the ceiling of my monitor already!
Scarifar said Nekroz's.

Oh, that reminds me. Two quick announcements before things get confusing.

For the purpose of this RP, any archetypes post-Qliphag will be using their OCG names instead of the TCG names.
Ritual Beasts Spirit Beasts
Necroz Necloth
etc.

Additionally, in the event that a card has different rulings in the TCG and OCG, we'll be going with the OCG rulings. The only example I can think of right now is Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon. In the TCG rulings, battling a monster with a Rank instead of a Level means that none of Dragonecro's post-battle effects apply; the user doesn't get a token, and the opponent's monster doesn't have its ATK to go 0. In the OCG rulings, the only difference between Level and Rank is that fighting a monster with a Rank won't yield a token; the opposing monster still loses ATK.

Just to clear that up right quick.
Scarifar said Don't worry, that winning streak will turn into a losing streak. I know from experience... with multiple decks, including Sorcerer of Dark Magic, Fairies, Ancient Gear, Burn, Lightsworn, Shaddolls.... *sob*Have gotten some good things from Qliphorts though.

Wins using Qliphags legit shouldn't count. Most shameless deck in YGO.
I've been waiting for the green light from Roxas to continue working with him on it.

On an unrelated note, my own deck's got me on a winning streak on DN :O didn't actually expect this.
That post was utter crap on Hotaru's end, but...it's a post.
~Hiroko & Kaede~

"Hey. Hey, Hiroko?"

"Yes, Kaede? What is it?"

"We're where going, again?"

Hiroko Fujiyama sighed lightly. This was the third time her goddaughter, Kaede Kobayashi, had asked the same question, with the words jumbled in different ways every single time. At least this time the words were mostly lined up correctly. Normally, If it were somebody else, Hiroko would no doubt hit them with a notepad or something and tell them to listen better. But Kaede was a special case; she'd taken a pretty nasty bump to her head during the Nephilim attack ten years ago, so the godmother had to expect this kind of thing from Kaede.

"We're going to pick up the girls SEED has chosen to help defend against the Nephilim attacks; the magitech girls."

"Ah, right!" It all seemed to click in Kaede's head. They were going to the school, right? Now she remembered clear as day. That was where the magitech girls were that would fight the Nephilim! Because normal people didn't stand much a chance, if any at all, so they were needed because they could synchronize with the MagiGears SEED developed and use them as anti-Nephilim weapons. Kaede had wanted to be one of them, but Hiroko refused to permit checking if she was even capable.

For her own safety, Hiroko had claimed. Because fighting those Nephilims up close was dangerous.
~Hotaru~

Why am I here? Hotaru asked herself. She was far from friendly, but she wasn't exactly the sort who was antisocial enough to warrant being held after school. Yet here she was. In a room. Being told simply to wait, without being given any reason.
